White In Otranto

We discovered this restaurant while we were at the beach, unfortunately (you'll understand why) on our last day in Otranto. It was the best meal we've had since we've been in Puglia (for 8 days), so since we discovered the restaurant for lunch, we've eaten there once more in the evening. First of all, I want to give all the credit and congratulations to the dark-haired, bearded waiter, from July 2, 2026, who served us at both meals, and was very professional, attentive to details and on top of his job. He made us feel very good and certainly deserves all the praise and a raise 😁. The location is right on the beach and offers a wonderful view. The interior looks luxurious, clean and well-kept. The food is very good. For lunch I tried entrecotes with truffle mayonnaise, which were brilliant and made me regret that I don't have at least one more day to eat again. I chose the beef cooked medium well on the waiter's recommendation, so it was perfect. Also, on the waiter's recommendation, I chose a local rose wine, very aromatic and tasty. My partner had gnocchi with pistachios, shrimp and clams, which were also very tasty and a large portion. In the evening we chose to eat sushi, and shrimp tempura. The soy sauce was very good, and the sushi rolls were tasty and aromatic. This time I chose a very good local white wine. Also, the dessert was very good, I had panna cotta and my partner had tiramisu, both very tasty, but here I want to note again the waiter who was very attentive to details and gave us a pleasant surprise. Although the prices were a little higher than in other restaurants (~75€ per meal, with main course + wine + dessert) it was the best restaurant I ate at in all of Puglia.

Located on the seafront, adjacent to the Lido Camillo. Fantastic location overlooking the sea, with a breathtaking view. Excellent food, with first courses including gluten-free options.

Wonderful place by the sea, and the waiters are excellent and very kind, especially with children. I highly recommend it.

Everything was excellent. From the service and the food to the location. It's a 10/10.

What can I say about this magical place? First of all, the setting is truly enchanting, overlooking the sea, and Otranto is fantastic... Add to that the extremely helpful and kind staff, the owner who makes you feel at ease and knows how to advise. He recommended an excellent white wine, Timo, to accompany the sushi. My husband instead had a first course of paccheri with monkfish (delicious), and we finished the dinner with an equally excellent house tiramisu. The price was honest and fair. We had dinner here two nights in a row which says something about how much we liked it. The location is perfect just next to the sea with a wonderful view from all tables. The food was delicious and even had a lot of gluten free options (one of us is gluten intolerant). For us, the service is also very important, and the staff here are really professional and attentive, but also very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had two lovely nights here. Will definitely come back if we visit again.

I highly recommend it, everything is excellent. The raw appetizers are fresh and delicious. The lobster pasta is a masterpiece, as is the octopus carbonara.

Right on the sea, incredible view, and very good, fast service. It's a shame the food is below average: the fried fish is soft, and the red tuna tartare isn't very flavorful. The price is high for the quality.
