05/07/2026: First pizza experience, and I have to say it was a complete pass. Then I returned to the restaurant and took advantage of the opportunity to sample a selection of appetizers and a fantastic fried fish dish with fries. On a beautiful evening with a lovely view, it was perhaps a little too noisy when it was full, but that's not the fault of the place itself, but rather the intelligence and politeness of the staff, which is sometimes lacking (especially among families with children). Overall, the place is worth it, and so is the food. A full pass. (2nd review) - I've returned after a long time, and I have to reconsider some of my previous statements about the restaurant. Let me start by saying that the location is and remains excellent, and parking is available even at maximum capacity. The problems this time were with the seating and the management of the place. There were several inaccuracies, partly due to the young staff. The food remained good, although the first issues arose here. The portions of food were significantly reduced, for appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Obviously, the price has gone up (personally, for what I paid for two, I expected larger portions, but that's just my personal opinion). Furthermore, the hot evening didn't make staying in the restaurant any easier, as it was packed and the complete lack of air conditioning affected the final outcome. Unfortunately, I have to say I'm unlikely to return, as there are better options for the same price. I'm sorry.

04/07/2026: Terrible experience, the only redeeming feature is the view! The food was mediocre, they forgot to write down our order for the main course, and after half an hour we had to leave... the bill was high considering my husband didn't eat anything... we ordered a Pinot Grigio and they brought a Pinot Noir without even asking first, and the wine wasn't even cold...

24/05/2026: It had been years since I went to this restaurant, today I decided to go back and I was more than satisfied, I had a seafood patata, of which everything was good maybe a little correctness some fish cooked a little overcooked but for the rest good service, average price and good location for those who are not too demanding.

21/04/2026: I had a business trip and dinner there, and I must say I was surprised by the excellent, fantastic dishes, both meat and fresh fish. Compliments to the chef.

12/06/2026: I think it's the worst restaurant in the province of Varese. Catalan-style lobster served with giblets, and octopus with potatoes served with baked potatoes that are at least a day old. It should be on a list of nightmare kitchens and would definitely win. I won't say more.

10/06/2026: Yes, I can confirm what brought me there... Rumors from friends and acquaintances who spoke of a 40 euro tasting menu consisting of various good quality fish dishes and the availability of seconds, like an all you can eat... and then they are kind and helpful and the owner is really nice.

10/05/2026: After booking at 12:30 sharp, 1:20 pm, the pizza order had already finished, the pasta order at 1:20 pm still nothing. When we asked why there was a delay, we were told that if we were in a hurry we could go... So we did. Hospitality was zero, courtesy zero, the food I don't know.

20/04/2026: A delicious three-course meal including 0.7 liters of mineral water for only €16.00! What more could you want? It tasted great and was a bargain. And despite my limited Italian, the menu was explained to me in detail after I was initially a bit overwhelmed.

13/06/2026: The service was good and friendly. Unfortunately, the fish was terrible; the seafood appetizer was inedible, rubbery, and tasteless. The salmon was dry, the cuttlefish rubbery, and the shrimp burned. The prices were completely out of line for the quality. The liqueurs on offer, however, were excellent and appreciated. It's probably a nice place for an aperitif, but we can't recommend it for a seafood dinner in particular.

21/04/2026: A special thanks to Gaetano, who with his infinite patience, kindness, and friendliness helped us with everything, from check-in (at 5:00 AM) to parking the car, to assistance on the day of departure. All the staff were kind and helpful. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant (fantastic pizza, even lasagna—what can I say, if it weren't for the distance, I'd have lunch and dinner there every day) and the prices were very reasonable considering the excellent quality of the food. The rooms were simple, clean, and comfortable. Thank you so much.

12/06/2026: A restaurant in the center of Gallarate, offering outdoor seating in the summer in a beautifully landscaped courtyard with background music. Attentive and friendly service. The dishes are carefully prepared and the portions are generous. The appetizers and pesto pasta are excellent; the seafood scialatielli were plentiful but not as tasty. During dinner, we saw some very tempting Florentine steaks being grilled in full view of the diners. We'll try them next time. Wide selection of wines. Prices are average for Gallarate.

06/06/2026: My partner and I came to Milan for a friend's wedding, and the groom booked us at this guesthouse. It wasn't the style I usually book, but what did I think? The building dates back to 1700 (don't worry, it's been renovated). The service is incredibly welcoming, and the food is like something a mother would make for her family—authentic, traditional Italian. If you can choose the suite, it's spectacular: about 70 square meters plus a terrace. It's five minutes from Malpensa Airport and five minutes from the train station, which takes you to the center of Milan in 30 minutes. It's infinitely cheaper than similar places in Milan. Michele and Rosa gave us fantastic service.

20/07/2026: Fantastic place with divine food. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend the fish, truly fresh and tasty. The location is definitely one of the most beautiful in the area, with a stunning view of Lake Maggiore. I hope to return soon!

14/05/2026: I've had the pleasure of frequenting Pizzeria Ocoptus for over ten years, and I'm always happy to return. Nadia and Giacomo are the perfect hosts. The food is excellent, the desserts exquisite.

02/05/2026: Describing this pizzeria requires a moment's attention. It's a family-run establishment, run by husband and wife, Nadia and Giacomo. They put care and passion into every detail. The atmosphere is immediately striking. It feels like being underwater. An octopus watches you from above, giving the place character. Then comes the pizza. And that's what matters. Light, tasty, just the right amount of crunch. Easy to digest. Just how we like it. An example. The potatoes and radicchio. No photos. It went too quickly. 😄

16/05/2026: I found the pizza thin and of poor quality, the ingredients had a strange flavor and I found the dough to be poorly leavened, not to mention the fries worse than those from the Mc Donald's and if you want to add sauces to make them edible, each packet costs you 0.30 cents more. Price too expensive, I do NOT recommend it.

19/07/2026: We went today for the first time even though we live in the next town, I would say high prices, we arrived at 12 we paid for the whole day 2 adults a 5 year old child umbrella with two sunbeds €62.😱!! Quiet I would say equal to zero people diving from all sides it was continuous, I understand the fun but having a child it was more of a danger than fun I would say pure stress and annoyance 🥺 more rules honestly should be more🤷‍♀️ nice structure but as for attractions for smaller ones I would say zero if not slides for older ones!!! To tell the truth I don't know if I will return.

19/07/2026: The girls loved the slides. The food was also good. Unfortunately, there are only a few umbrellas on the lawn, so either get there early or stand around to watch the kids. A nice day, but expensive.

02/07/2026: Good morning everyone, I had a great time eating here. I found the food to my liking. I work out almost every day and I also pay attention to my diet. I found this place perfect because they serve excellent quality, locally sourced food and don't overdo it with condiments. That said, go and try it; it's worth it. Also, it's close to the lakeside walks. Enjoy your meal.
