24/08/2025: If you want to eat good seafood near Varese, Volo a Gliding is the place to go! Excellent service and always fresh, delicious food. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it to everyone.
21/08/2025: A very disappointing dinner with friends... the place has potential (a lovely veranda overlooking the lake), but it's run like a company cafeteria during peak hours. Service is lacking in several areas, and very slow due to overcrowding. The food quality is average, neither praiseworthy nor infamous.

Very nice location, already known in the past and therefore a confirmation.
Well-prepared dishes with generous portions, even if not everything on the menu was available (they took the order and then returned to the table to inform them that they only had 3 portions of such and such, not the 4 ordered...)
But overall acceptable.
So why 3 stars?
Because it's really annoying to feel like a "nuisance," an "intruder" in a restaurant.
I don't like to generalize, but the wait staff needs a good overhaul and to realize that courtesy, kindness, and a smile must be basic ingredients if you work in a public-facing job; otherwise, you'll ruin the beautiful location and the good food.
I recommend you work on it.
05/07/2025: Room was very hot we sleept on top Floor even with airconditioning on m. Airco was located 1 Floor lower. People are friendly and restaurant is really good!

We couldn't have chosen a better location for our wedding, the enchanting Narciso!
Cristian, Besa and all the staff were helpful, kind and attentive to our requests and the needs of all our guests.
Excellent quality of food, our guests complimented us already from the aperitif.
Highly recommended!
18/07/2025: We got married on July 15, 2025, and had our reception here at the Cenacolo. A truly romantic and well-maintained venue, with kind and polite staff. Cristian and Besa were incredibly attentive during the preparations and the reception. The highlight of this venue is definitely the food: a variety of appetizers, plentiful and truly delicious, sophisticated first courses, and a leg of veal for the main course that left everyone speechless.
We highly recommend this venue, both for its quality and availability.

04/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato al ristorante dell'hotel, mangiando in un contesto molto piacevole all'aperto.
Il menù è interessante, la proposta varia può incontrare diverse esigenze e soddisfare tutti i palati, anche la carta dei vini è ben fornita.
Piatti gustosi e ricchi, bella la presentazione e ottimo anche il servizio.
Personale gentile e disponibile.
Prezzo adeguato.
04/08/2025: Incuriosito dalle precedenti recensioni positive, ho voluto provare di persona il ristorante, e devo dire che mi sento di confermare le stesse, ambiente pulito, nel periodo estivo tavoli all'aperto sulla Piazzetta, altrimenti non manca una bella veranda panoramica affacciata sul Fiume Ticino, la cucina è una cucina pulita e saporita, i piatti sono cucinati con cura e un plauso in particolare alla sezione dei dolci

The dishes were delicious and plentiful, especially the starters, and the prices were fair.

17/05/2025: Una cena davvero ottima con menù di pesce di gran qualità... L'antipasto con i 4 assaggi dello Chef era davvero buonissimo e per non parlare dei primi! Gentilissima la Sig. ra Olimpia che in sala è accompagnata da uno staff attento alle esigenze dei Clienti.

12/08/2025: A restaurant overlooking the lake, with a very pleasant setting and good food.
However, be careful when paying to look at the bill, which I didn't do well: our bull meat dish was 22 euros, and we paid 28 euros for it. It was 22 euros on the menu last night and is now 28 euros on the website since this morning...

A welcoming and historic place, just like the lady and her husband. That's a compliment, of course. The price is reasonable for the ingredients and the service. Homemade desserts.
