22/12/2025: Excellent pizza and friendly and helpful owners.

08/09/2025: Chosen at random because it was nearby for a trade fair. Excellent choice because the pizzas, desserts, and service were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the lady (whose name I unfortunately don't know) was disarmingly kind. We'll be back every week!

16/01/2026: If I were to give a 5 out of 5 rating only to Michelin-starred restaurants, I wouldn't be doing justice to a restaurant like this, where I found everything I'd always love to find. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff were truly friendly (even nice), and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef and his charming wife, who 'fills the room.' 13/12/2025: A curious place; the dialect name would seem to imply traditional Lombard dishes, but the menu is essentially seafood. Very good dishes and generous portions. Prices are a bit high, but quality comes at a cost.

11/01/2026: On New Year's Eve 2025, six of us dined at Ristorante Il Pescatore. The menu was very limited, and the prices were extremely high that evening—apparently due to a musician performing. We had to wait around three hours for our food, which was completely unacceptable. The quality and portion sizes of the dishes were disproportionate to the prices: €20 for spaghetti vongole with a mere five clams, or €30 for a beef fillet with very few fries, was outrageous. Overall, the evening was a huge disappointment. For these prices, we expect significantly better quality, service, and organization. We will not be returning to Ristorante Il Pescatore for the foreseeable future—the whole experience felt like a complete rip-off.

17/03/2026: Disappointing Women's Day. €25 for a meager, poor-quality buffet, some items inedible because they were rancid. I understand the price for the entertainment, but you shouldn't go home and have a stomachache. Maybe a pizza menu would have been better.

02/01/2026: A strange experience. The place doesn't show off its character; upon arrival, the curtains were drawn, and we wondered if we were in the right place. There were only a few tables, and those at the head of the table were uncomfortable, given the large gaps in the shorter side of the designer table. They were the only customers that evening. The food was good, but if you know how to cook, you won't find anything exceptional. The wine list was "extensive," with very high prices. Coffee was served with "spoon" sugar. They made a mistake, putting salt instead of sugar (and that's understandable), but no apology, rather, it was almost as if we, the customers, were the ones bothering them with this complaint. The coffees were charged, and only one amaro was offered (a small quantity). The reservation, made through The Fork, was immediately cancelled upon our departure. I'm starting to suspect that the high number of positive reviews was manipulated in this way... (i.e., by cancelling the reservations of those who might have had something to say about them...)

27/01/2026: It's now a regular stop for dinner during my business trips to Luino. Extensive menu, huge, delicious pizzas, and highly trained and friendly staff! Highly recommended!

24/01/2026: Good evening. Ordered takeout pizza, on time. Arrived after 5 minutes. Absolutely undercooked. Rubbery pizza dough. 9 euros each. One vegetarian, one tuna and onions, one sausage and fries. Nothing fancy. I'll never get it from the old scales again.

08/02/2026: We've always had a great experience, whether we choose from the daily menu, the à la carte menu, or the pizzeria. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and despite the large dining rooms and plenty of seating, it's not noisy. Good value for money. The only thing I disagree with: they only accept small dogs, whereas in past years they also accepted medium and large dogs. Unfortunately, when we're in the area with our Golden Retriever, we'll have to look for an alternative.

15/02/2026: Total Disorganization – Valentine's Day Evening Ruined Unfortunately, our Valentine's Day evening was a complete disaster due to the poor management of this venue. We had reserved a table for 8:00 PM, hoping for a pleasant dinner, but at 9:00 PM we were still waiting at the door, along with other impatient couples. It's unacceptable to accept reservations for such an important evening if you can't manage the time. After standing around for an hour and having no certainty, we decided to leave and try our luck elsewhere. A real shame and a total lack of professionalism towards those who had made advance arrangements. If you want to avoid stress and endless waits, look elsewhere.

10/03/2026: I visited this restaurant on the evening of Saturday, March 7th, and had a wonderful time. The food was exquisite, from the appetizer to the main course; I highly recommend the pepper beef fillet! The staff was welcoming and made us feel at ease right away, with an air of both professionalism and friendliness. The restaurant was clean and tidy, with plenty of seating and ample, convenient parking. I don't live nearby and I'm not a local, but I can't wait to return to Lombardy to eat at this restaurant.
