The food is very good. The price is reasonable. Unfortunately, it's located right on a busy road, but if that doesn't bother you, it's a great place to treat your palate to a taste of Italy. A complimentary pre-drink is served, and after entering the main hall, you'll have the opportunity to sample free Limoncello in four different flavors.

It was market day, pouring rain. We went to the entrance and were immediately well looked after. It seemed the restaurant was packed. The table we were given was in the basement (not a very welcoming area). The space between the tables was limited, and we had our dog with us, so it wasn't easy. The other customers were kind to us and did their best to make a little more room for us. The very friendly waitress took our order and brought water and biscuits for our dog. Our pizzas were barely cooked, and the crust was too thick and very soft. The mushrooms on mine were definitely canned... to be honest, we've had much better pizzas in Italy. When it came time to pay the bill, the cashier (who seemed quite stressed) charged me for something completely different than what we had eaten. We had to explain his mistake. The waitress confirmed what we had ordered. Perhaps this restaurant, when it's not crowded like that day, offers better quality pizzas, I dare to believe it.

Every guest gets a pineapple lemonade, they are very kind with that. The soup was not my style, but the pizza was very delicious. Thin crust. There are many types of food to choose from, everyone can find their own. There is an indoor and outdoor area. The restroom is clean and cultured.

A great place just steps from Luino Station, where we had a lovely dinner. The grilled meat was good and plentiful, the chicken burgers were good, and the grilled vegetables were so-so. The service was friendly and generous. Prices were average. Thank you.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local so 9 of us booked a table. From the very start the service was over and above excellent with little extras throughout the meal to fill any gaps. All 9 of us were delighted with the food and the wine recommendation was exquisite. This, unexpectedly, became a special evening and added to our already happy memories of Luino.

Varied menu. Fresh fish, excellently prepared. Ligurian cheese focaccia while waiting for the first course. Excellent presentation and perfect service. Considering that you can dine outside... I'd say it's a perfect restaurant.

03/05/2026: This is a difficult review to write; it took me over a week because we found many positive aspects, but also just as many we didn't like. Let me start by saying that we ate outside, so this review is limited to that. The location is spectacular, beyond words. The staff is helpful and friendly, perhaps a little overzealous, and in certain situations it shows and feels that way. Garden tables are large but wobbly given the terrain they're set on. The chairs are uncomfortable, despite the cushions provided. The dishes are neither good nor bad; well-presented, but the substance is certainly not a strong point. Given the location, the Michelin logo at the entrance, and the price, it would be nice if the waiter poured the wine, not the customer. Lastly, the price. You pay for the location, which is truly unique, but the quality of the food needs updating, as does the service. When it came time to pay the usual question (all good), my wife's answer (no, and you should have noticed) elicited no reaction, just an outstretched hand to politely hand over the POS. We definitely won't be returning. There are restaurants in Varese where the food is definitely better.
28/03/2026: The gardens and the villa are a wonderful place. There's also a wonderful restaurant serving delicious food with a full respect for local produce. It's luxurious but not overly pompous, with a very friendly atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for this type of restaurant. There's a wide selection of wines, which are matched by the wine list. The villa's collection is very interesting. The art intertwines with the villa's rich interior, where you can see everyday rooms full of the splendor and charm of bygone years. You can spend a pleasant day enjoying the wonderful views in the charming garden.
