06/04/2026: We had lunch at Villa Baroni on Easter Monday. The property offers limited parking, but a few meters ahead, there are two free public parking lots. Because it was a special day, the restaurant was very crowded, and the wait was a bit long (but we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us). The only downside was that some waiters, one in particular, was running (literally) around the room. The food was delicious; the raw fish appetizer was excellent; we highly recommend it. The view is beautiful, and after lunch, we stopped by the pool to soak up some rays. That part of the property is also very beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant on Lake Varese with about 20 people, and we were truly delighted. The menu was well thought out, the dishes were of excellent quality and carefully prepared, and the service was efficient, friendly, and always attentive. All our guests had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this place for special occasions.

The location is pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming, the food quality is decent, and the prices are average for the area. Parking isn't always available close to the restaurant.

13/07/2026: TRUE STORY: My wife and I are moving to Varese for a few weeks to give birth to our son. She already knew Il Gestore, but I hadn't been there since I wasn't a regular in the city. "We absolutely have to try it!" she tells me. We make a reservation one evening, but she starts to show the first signs of labor, so we have to cancel. The next day, labor is intermittent. Our doula advises my wife to do something that makes her feel good, to release oxytocin, which usually kicks things off. She immediately says, "Lobster linguine, I want the lobster linguine from Il Gestore!" I call to see if they can do takeout: "Sorry, we have a wedding today and the kitchen is busy. Could a piece of foie gras be okay?" My wife loves foie gras, so I go get it. I arrive at the restaurant, a beautiful villa, where I'm warmly welcomed. Finally, they gave me the foie gras with a big "good luck." I took it to our accommodation, and with every bite, my wife had a contraction. About 12 hours later, our son was born! The Manager will forever be in our hearts, and we promised to bring our baby as soon as he's weaned.

The restaurant is spacious, surrounded by a beautiful garden and a pleasant covered terrace, allowing you to dine al fresco in a spacious atmosphere, almost immersed in greenery, meticulously maintained both inside and out. The menu is varied and emphasizes seafood dishes. The service is fantastic; Valentina puts you at ease, very attentive and thoughtful, always with a smile, making you feel important. The atmosphere, especially in the evening, with the soft lighting and surrounding greenery, is relaxing, ideal for a business dinner, a way to unwind, or a quiet dinner for two. The bill is absolutely in line with everything offered. If you're looking for a restaurant in Busto Arsizio and the surrounding area, including for a ceremony, birthday, wedding, etc., Idea Verde, with a capacity of over 100 people, has an enviable location. It's hard, if not impossible, to find a better one.

12/07/2026: 5 stars only for the chef who cooks very tasty food and serves with kindness. But some waiters should be trained well to serve customers, because it's quite unpleasant when you come and ask for a menu, they don't give it to you, they put a scancode on it and later tell you not to stand here, leave. When you go outside and don't have time to sit down to place an order, they already tell you that you can't eat here. Only when I said that I wasn't going to eat here, I asked for a pizza to take away, they took my order and didn't even offer to sit down to wait. I felt quite unpleasant from such service, maybe it's because I don't speak Italian, I don't know.

13/04/2026: A perfect stopover near Milan – warmth you can feel! After a very long drive from Germany, we just wanted to rest for a few hours before continuing our journey. Since booking online at short notice was difficult, I called the hotel directly. The owner himself – a very friendly and accommodating young man – took care of everything for us immediately. Our arrival at La Perla Rooms was absolutely seamless, efficient, and quick. The welcome with a complimentary espresso was particularly warm – just what we needed after the long drive! The entire team was so lovely that we also ate at the hotel restaurant that evening. A great decision: the food was amazing! Everything was fresh, quick, and prepared with great care (see photos). If I could give 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The entire staff always had a smile on their face. The location in Saronno is also ideal for travelers heading towards Milan. Keep up the great work, we'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: I highly recommend the place. I hosted my parents there, and the rooms were very nice and new. In the evening, we had dinner in the restaurant, and the pizza was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Plus, if you stay there, you get a 10% discount at the restaurant, which is definitely a treat.
