17/03/2024: Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review. We asked for a vegan risotto and the waitress confirmed the possibility. It arrived promptly with butter and cheese. Replaced by a pizza with tomato, rocket cream and porcini mushrooms. Result? Almost non-existent rocket cream but pizza full of rocket leaves. My pizza, however, the one with broccoli, being white, was requested with a tomato base. Result? White base with a few drops of tomato on top of the broccoli. Waitress unhelpful and with very irritating attitudes. Last sore point: the bathrooms were clean but with a truly nauseating smell, which in my opinion cannot exist in a restaurant.

31/03/2024: The environment is cheap, the service is fake-polite, the cuisine and wines are mediocre, obviously overpriced for what is offered... I won't return.

30/03/2024: We had a family dinner. Appetizer to say the least, super poor. Octopus, potatoes, very hard. Spaghetti with seafood, inedible. Pasta was not al dente but raw. Fried food, unspeakable and inedible. Terrible evening. Rating 0 - High prices. I think it is the worst restaurant in Varese. Avoid it. in fact in my experience it is the worst

05/04/2024: I didn't think it was a huge restaurant at all, it can serve more than 500/600 seats... crazy. And rest assured, the service is fast and immediate (unthinkable given the size of the seats!!!) friendly and above all attentive waiters (I noticed that in a corner there is always a waiter watching the tables to intervene and restore for example water, wine, etc., etc.) never seen something like this!! Pizzas (even at midday) are huge and very good and well garnished. But you can easily order à la carte from many opportunities and choices (fish or meat). I highly recommend it because it deserves it

02/04/2024: Eating was ok because it quickly got cold because you were freezing to death in there. Then they cheated me we paid 52.70 just for two pizzas and 6 drinks they put a tee more I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

22/04/2024: I went to this pizzeria/restaurant and was disappointed. My wife has food intolerances and there was no menu indicating allergens. The staff was unable to give satisfactory information. There was only one sign positioned outside the restaurant, even at the top, listing allergens in general but there was no indication relating to the foods that contained them. Furthermore, she was told that she couldn't eat any sweets because they were all industrially produced (they showed her the boxes) and not homemade.

05/11/2023: Quiet place and friendly staff!!! Good food with satisfying portions, good parking possibilities for cars, a little limited for those with vans in which case you can park nearby!!! As a restaurant, try it, you won't be disappointed!!!!

17/09/2023: Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno ad inizio settembre. Eravamo 30 persone, è stato tutto eccellente. Il menù che ho scelto comprendeva dall'antipasto al secondo fino alla torta, siamo rimasti tutti soddisfatti, era tutto buonissimo. Il posto é bellissimo, con una vista sul lago di Lugano che é spettacolare. Personale gentile e disponibile. Un ringraziamento particolare ad Annalisa per l'organizzazione, è stata gentilissima e disponibile.

31/12/2023: Club type place, the welcome was very nice, we had a Christmas lunch, a little lunch based on what the dishes were like, for me who eats enough, I went home to make myself a plate of spaghetti, yes yes it was eaten but not by burst, oh well it went well

24/11/2023: Allora sono anni che vengo qui e mi fido tanto dello Chef tempo indietro abbiamo fatto anche il battesimo di una nostra bambina e devo dire mai una insoddisfazione, ma stasera te lo voglio dire Ignazio mi spiace non è stato azzeccato un piatto forse solo 1 ma c'era poco da fare ed era lo spada grigliato abbiamo preso gli altri tre primi ma da dimenticare, si che ci sono anche giornate no!!! Potevo passarci anche sopra per una volta ma ti faccio questa recensione perché sul cibo anche solo una mangiate le persone possono prendere decisioni irrevocabile non è il mio caso!! ma state più attenti i piatti, cmq hanno un prezzo importante quindi mio consiglio va bene rivisitare i piatti ma non alzate troppo il livello perché la location e quella che è puntate sulla qualità e il giusto prezzo come avete sempre fatto ciao Ignazio mi spiace ma cmq ritorno e riprovo. Ma stasera ai fat pcatt.😔😔😔😔

12/03/2024: I cannot say enough good things about the Hotel Carillon. I had a problem with my car on a Sunday evening on my way through Italy to Germany, and not only was I able to get a room, with my dog, at a reasonable price at short notice, the entire staff was friendly and helpful, and one staff member M went so far above and beyond and helped me get to my car in another village. Had she not, I would have been stuck another night. The rooms are basic but serviceable. But the food! OH MY GOD! Heads above anything else I had my entire week in Germany. Breakfaat was SUPERB, with homemade bread and the best croissants I've ever had. The view from the hotel restaurant is SPECTACULAR. My time here turned a bad situation into a lovely 2 day vacation. I will be coming back here when the weather is warmer!

07/03/2024: Classic 80s restaurant. There is practically nothing fresh or seasonal on the menu (each ingredient is marked with an asterisk). Everything would need to be reviewed a bit, from the service to the cuisine. Unfortunately, the atmosphere also appears old and dated. It's already not pleasant to eat while looking at the state road, but even if the place isn't well looked after, in short, the imagination really fades away!

Prezzi fuori di testa cena a 30.90 + 2 coperto, mancano i 10 centesimi per la sedia, la bevanda ovviamente non è inclusa. Il servizio scarso e triste, mi hanno appoggiato il piatto sul tavolo versando mezza porzione sul tavolo, secondo voi si è messo a pulire?? No, ho dovuto dirle: Ciccio puoi pulire il tavolo?

28/12/2023: 11/10 recomendation for this place. Lovely and fast service, specially from younger gentleman with great English. All you can eat - selection really wide from all kind of sushis to warm dishes. We paid 17 euros / person, which could be only apetizers price somewhere else. Will be back soon🇮🇹♥️
