28/09/2025: Very nicely located. Shady. Overwhelmed at lunchtime. The male waitresses were very courteous, but the two female staff were unfortunately disgruntled. Lots of pasta and very few vongole. Too expensive for that.

Service was good, friendly staff.
11/07/2026: I'd give it a 10 with my eyes closed.
The staff was super friendly, even prepared for gluten-free options, and always smiling. The food was very good, the fish was incredibly fresh. I couldn't help but order a mixed raw fish platter, which was delicious. All the other dishes at the table also looked great, and everyone commented that they had eaten wonderfully.

15/07/2026: McDrive always has some problems. This is my second night there and it's always worse. If you don't feel like working, don't work. It's not like I'll end up with squashed food soaked in oil and the sandwich filling outside the bread.
13/07/2026: Edit: "Fast food" has become "slow food" and also "always wrong food." It's impossible to eat what you order because EVERYTHING ALWAYS arrives WRONG AND LATE.
I've seen it grow, develop, and improve! I remember it wasn't around when I was a kid, and now I can't do without it.

Because I can't give a zero, otherwise I would have.
Let's start with the assumption that I never write negative reviews, but this place was really rude and I can't overlook it.
We went for dinner and I politely asked for mushroom pasta without butter and garlic because I'm intolerant. They refused, saying, "It tastes like nothing and we don't make it."
I agreed to let them make me any pasta with vegetables, without garlic or milk. They presented me with tomato pasta, without salt, with diced green beans and a clove of garlic on top as a garnish.
My companion politely asked for an explanation, inviting the waiter to try it, and we weren't treated badly, more like insulted, with the final conclusion, "You vegan, don't eat here again."
Rude is an understatement; rude, boorish, and, to top it all, convinced he was right;
I'm very happy never to set foot there again.
P.S. Finding out what vegans eat isn't difficult—just suggesting a vegetable focaccia or a simple pasta dish—but perhaps that's beyond their capabilities.

12/05/2026: Mother's Day, seated at 1 pm and after several complaints, the wait for one dish was a good 1 hour and 30 minutes. Not just us, but the entire dining room. The waiter justified himself by saying "upstairs they have 150 seats." Fine, if you can't manage the number of seats you have, increase the staff or reduce the number of seats. And it's not the first time this has happened. When paying (101.50), not even the decency to apologize or offer a small discount. Never again. Otherwise, the pizza is acceptable.
14/03/2026: I've been a customer of the Carillon restaurant for years: I've always had a good experience and the food has always been excellent. The customer service was once top-notch, as was the quality of the food.
After a few years away, we returned in November 2025 for a family birthday dinner, but unfortunately, we found the place completely changed, and not for the better. Even though we were a large group of people intending to order dishes from the restaurant, we were seated in the pizzeria. The restaurant is divided into two rooms: a more elegant one dedicated to the kitchen and one for pizza.
The room we were seated in was cold, to the point of almost having to eat in our jackets, aesthetically unkempt, and the service was decidedly poor.
We had hoped to at least rediscover the quality of the cuisine we remembered, but unfortunately, even that has significantly deteriorated.
What a shame. A restaurant that I once considered a reference point has now become a place I can no longer recommend.

05/04/2025: Come sempre quando voglio staccare un po' e coccolarmi a Varese vengo da Roberto....insomma si alla PERLA.
Beh sempre tutto al massimo livello...i classici antipastini davvero sfiziosi e poi gianchetti in frittata delicatissimi....e a seguire un primo con aragosta...il tutto annaffiato da Ferrari Perle'...e a chiudere uno spettacolare dolce ...crema al mascarpone e caffè....bravi e davvero grazie sono stato benissimo 😉
23/02/2025: Ottima cena a base di pesce con un servizio attento non invasivo, ottimi vini alla carta. Piatti ben eseguiti e assolutamente squisiti.
E il prezzo assolutamente onesto
