28/08/2025: The restaurant is located inside a campsite, and although there's often music and entertainment, dinner is a relaxed affair. The menu features seafood and pizza. For seafood lovers, this restaurant is addictive, not to mention the desserts. We tried practically the entire menu, including the pizza (we dined there 7 or 8 times in 15 days). The prices are low for the quality and abundance of the dishes. Michele and Rosa are super nice and friendly people, as is all the other staff. We haven't eaten this well in a long time!!!! How lucky we were to meet them at the beginning of our vacation! Top 🔝

14/03/2026: An unpretentious, honest restaurant, with excellent ingredients and prices below the local average. Always open, they guarantee friendly service and are truly family-run. The place could use a makeover; the service isn't fast, but the important thing is to eat well without spending a fortune.

17/02/2026: I had lunch at Clapsy with my husband on Valentine's Day. Excellent food, perfect service, and a spacious table. Unfortunately, the table was too close to the door. Even though it was protected by partitions and heated air vents, the cold air blew in every time people and staff entered and exited the outdoor seating. Overall, I'm satisfied and recommend it. Fish and non-fish menus, including pizzas.

16/02/2026: A very pleasant welcome with highly professional waiters who speak several languages. Fresh, high-quality products – it's truly authentic Italian cuisine! The Neapolitan pizzas are excellent, the pasta and salads delicious, so as a food enthusiast, I 1000% recommend this restaurant, which is by far the best in Alassio (I mention this because we were disappointed by at least 5 restaurants in Alassio...).

20/01/2026: It's always been my favorite trattoria. The dishes are simple, but the fish is always fresh. The place could use a bit of a makeover.

07/01/2026: A few days ago I had lunch here with friends. The location is simple and clean. The dining room, despite being full, was quiet and peaceful enough to converse comfortably. The location is perfect, in a small square near the seafront and the historic center. The food is good, with generous portions, excellent value for money, reasonable wait times, and the wait staff and reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

30/01/2026: I stayed in the room with a kitchen. The kitchen and furnishings could use a makeover, but above all, the bathroom would need renovation. Showering in a tub with broken plastic doors that fall apart as soon as you look at them is unacceptable given the price. The location, facing the sea and right in the center, and the breakfast service at the beach bar are excellent. I recommend Mr. Giovanni renovate the kitchen and bathroom in the apartment, or at least completely redo the shower.

07/07/2025: Abbiamo preso un antipasto, un primo, un secondo ed piatto per il bambino. Tutto buono, prezzo medio alto ma in linea con il posto e la città di mare…

05/07/2025: Vino molto costoso. Chiariamo anziché fusilli alle vongole di avere gli spaghetti. Rispondono di no. Pazienza. Cozze al guazzetto. Quasi tutte col “baffo”. Quindi non adeguatamente pulite. Chiediamo acciughe fritte specificando che vogliamo assieme una focaccia. Arrivano le acciughe ma non la focaccia. Nel frattempo servono pizze e focacce da asporto, che passano davanti alle ordinazioni dei tavoli. Se non fosse in passeggiata ad Alassio, a mio avviso sarebbe sempre vuoto.

13/01/2026: The location is the best thing about it: lunch on the seafront in the sun. Although pigeons happily scurry around the tables, and a seagull bombed our table and clothes. Average food. Service could be improved.

22/02/2026: The service was extremely slow: we waited an extremely long time for our dishes, and it was clearly evident that the waiters were not working together at all. They seemed disorganized and not very attentive to the tables. The kitchen also took too long, so much so that several people got up and left without even eating. Cleanliness was mediocre: not a serious issue, but certainly not up to the standards of a restaurant that wants to make a good impression. The bill was incorrect. Overall, a negative experience. I hope they can improve their organization and timing. At the moment, I wouldn't recommend it.

15/02/2026: A truly disappointing lunch, both for the Venere rice with fish and the fried fish, which were overpriced for the quality and quantity. Luckily, we only had one dish.

03/03/2026: Highly recommended even outside of peak season. Friendly staff and incredibly delicious food. We'll definitely be back.

22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.

20/05/2025: As far as I'm concerned, kind and thoughtful, as well as discreet, excellent breakfast and considering that we are in Alassio perhaps a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a single and then they gave me a double at the same price for reasons not better specified.....

08/03/2026: I'm writing this review from the toilet, where I've been sitting since 4:00 a.m., after a dinner that was expensive in every sense of the word. The place is cold. The bill is steep (three dishes, two puddings, a glass of wine, and a coffee cost more than seventy euros...). The staff is courteous, but if I may offer one piece of advice, look for other options.

18/01/2026: I usually write reviews with great respect for the work of others, but unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant in the days immediately preceding Epiphany did not live up to expectations. The restaurant, despite being heated, was extremely cold: we had to wear jackets to our meals, an uncomfortable situation for those who want to enjoy a quiet lunch. The service, despite the staff's great kindness and courtesy—the only truly positive aspect of the day—was very slow. The restaurant was not crowded, yet the wait was excessively long. As for the cuisine, we were not convinced by the quality of the dishes: the food seemed pre-cooked, and the pasta, in particular, arrived decidedly overcooked. Even the wine served suggested it had been open for a while, with a vinegary flavor, a detail that further detracted from the overall experience. I hope this report can serve as a constructive starting point for improvement, because the kindness of the staff deserves to be matched by excellent service and food.

21/12/2025: I had a doubt. Excellent place!! I was surprised to see the low price. Ligurian cuisine, with excellent options. Friendly and helpful staff, with suggestions for making the most of the experience. I tried various dishes, almost all with anchovies, per my request, because I'm very fond of them. Excellent fried food. Excellent fish. I think it gets top marks.

06/10/2025: We're in Venice with the Spina brothers. If knowledge is like their restaurant, go there without a doubt!
