28/08/2025: The restaurant is located inside a campsite, and although there's often music and entertainment, dinner is a relaxed affair.
The menu features seafood and pizza.
For seafood lovers, this restaurant is addictive, not to mention the desserts.
We tried practically the entire menu, including the pizza (we dined there 7 or 8 times in 15 days).
The prices are low for the quality and abundance of the dishes.
Michele and Rosa are super nice and friendly people, as is all the other staff.
We haven't eaten this well in a long time!!!!
How lucky we were to meet them at the beginning of our vacation!

31/03/2026: I went for a relaxing massage. I'm definitely coming off a stressful time, but Valentina's hands worked miracles...they made me feel whole again.
Valentina was very kind and professional, respecting my need for silence; in fact, I even fell asleep for a few minutes. The green tea offered at the end of the treatment was the icing on the cake.
Thank you Valentina.
I will definitely be back.
30/01/2026: I stayed in the room with a kitchen. The kitchen and furnishings could use a makeover, but above all, the bathroom would need renovation. Showering in a tub with broken plastic doors that fall apart as soon as you look at them is unacceptable given the price. The location, facing the sea and right in the center, and the breakfast service at the beach bar are excellent. I recommend Mr. Giovanni renovate the kitchen and bathroom in the apartment, or at least completely redo the shower.

15/03/2026: We ordered fish soup and, sadly, after half an hour, we only received empty shellfish with plenty of bread. The cost was €30 per person. Be careful, folks, it's a disgrace. We've been coming to Alassio for seven years, but we've never had anything like this in a restaurant. Never again, Ristorante Clapsy.

Friendly atmosphere, pleasant and quick service.
Good food but small portions.
Overall, the price is a bit high for the quality.

07/01/2026: A few days ago I had lunch here with friends. The location is simple and clean. The dining room, despite being full, was quiet and peaceful enough to converse comfortably. The location is perfect, in a small square near the seafront and the historic center. The food is good, with generous portions, excellent value for money, reasonable wait times, and the wait staff and reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

05/04/2026: Four adults and two small girls came without a reservation for lunch on Easter Saturday. At Ines's, we found good food, good wine, and understanding of the girls' needs in terms of timing and methods, as well as a lot of patience with our parents, who were clearly a bit exhausted.
Thank you for everything, and we hope to return!

02/04/2026: We were a group of five adults and one child. The service was very friendly, and we received excellent advice, especially regarding the wine. We ordered various appetizers, pasta dishes, braised dishes, and fish soup, as well as several desserts. Everything was delicious; I must especially mention the fish soup, which was more than generously portioned. For us, it was a perfect evening with excellent value for money.

22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.
20/05/2025: As far as I'm concerned, kind and thoughtful, as well as discreet, excellent breakfast and considering that we are in Alassio perhaps a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a single and then they gave me a double at the same price for reasons not better specified.....

Unfortunately, the food isn't good: the fish dishes aren't great, and the fried food was a real disappointment, especially when half of it was taken up by a whole fried crab, which is barely edible and is "puffed up" by a little mound of arugula on the bottom. Very expensive for what you get. A €3 cover charge is truly exaggerated.
25/02/2026: An outdoor lunch in the sun, advice from the wonderful owner: the food was super, I recommend it especially the fried fish.

24/03/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has been carefully renovated, preserving the original style of the place, creating a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.
We chose truly excellent seafood dishes, which I highly recommend for their quality and freshness. The prices are slightly above average, but absolutely justified by the quality of the dishes: a worthwhile experience, with no regrets.

22/02/2026: The service was extremely slow: we waited an extremely long time for our dishes, and it was clearly evident that the waiters were not working together at all. They seemed disorganized and not very attentive to the tables. The kitchen also took too long, so much so that several people got up and left without even eating.
Cleanliness was mediocre: not a serious issue, but certainly not up to the standards of a restaurant that wants to make a good impression. The bill was incorrect. Overall, a negative experience. I hope they can improve their organization and timing. At the moment, I wouldn't recommend it.
15/02/2026: A truly disappointing lunch, both for the Venere rice with fish and the fried fish, which were overpriced for the quality and quantity. Luckily, we only had one dish.
