Gracious service by the owners, quality cooking, some Greek specialties that are hard to come by here, fair prices for premium ingredients. We have been vacationing in Alassio for 37 years, and for 5 weeks in the winter and fall for nearly 20 of those years. We have dined in more than 90% of the local restaurants, most many times. This is one of a half dozen or so we have found always reliable.

We've been going to this restaurant for over twenty years, on average once a year. It's the only restaurant in Alassio we've been to and where we can honestly say we've never been disappointed. The dishes are authentic, the fresh fish of the day prepared Ligurian-style is perfect, and so much more. Highly recommended.

11/08/2025: Location in the center of Finalborgo. The aperitif was good, but not exactly what we ordered. The waitress's attempt to remedy the situation was appreciated. She was also kind and friendly.

Hotel Astigiana Restaurant

12/04/2026: A very nice hotel, right in the center of Varazze. But the location isn't its only outstanding feature: the hospitality was phenomenal; we felt right at home with our two little girls. From check-in to mealtime, everyone was always attentive to us and the girls; we lacked nothing and felt right at home. We also ate wonderfully; our only regret is that we only stayed for two days. We can't wait to return.
08/04/2026: We spent a short holiday at this hotel and had a great time, from the warm and inviting welcome, to the food (a very good Easter lunch), the evening with typical Ligurian cuisine, and finally the room, a little small but very, very clean. We'll definitely be back. Marco Tiziana
