23/08/2025: Nice, small restaurant with a few tables inside and a covered outdoor area. A small but delicious menu. Good fish dishes. We had squid salad, octopus, and fried anchovies as antipasti. Spaghetti vongole, ravioli, and beef tagliate with diced potatoes. Some of the meat was a bit tough, but otherwise everything was delicious. We also enjoyed the house wine. Friendly and good service. Not exactly cheap.

22/08/2025: It's the #1 in Finale, no frills, all quality (fresh fish and mouth-watering flavors), and a must-visit when in Finale. The outdoor tables enhance the experience, and the portico is a lovely spot. Highly recommended.

09/07/2025: Excellent for 48 hours of total relaxation. The view is priceless, the beach is beautiful. I expected more from the restaurant, but dinner with a view is wonderful.

08/07/2025: In occasione del mio compleanno abbiamo cenato e soggiornato una notte in hotel. La nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva. La nostra camera era grande, ben curata e con una vista meravigliosa! Anche la zona piscina, sempre con vista mozzafiato sul litorale, ci è piaciuta moltissimo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il cibo sia a cena che a colazione. Consiglio per scendere alle spiagge di utilizzare la navetta oppure la propria auto, perché il sentiero nel bosco, seppur breve, è piuttosto scosceso e non adatto a tutti.

08/07/2025: Unfortunately for us, we chose this restaurant only to discover it's among the worst we've ever tried. It's worthy of a nightmare kitchen (cannavacciuolo's disease), completely abandoned. After the first three dishes, we cancelled the rest and left. It's an insult to the cuisine and a disrespect for those who spend their hard-earned money there.

07/07/2025: We have known Fabio for years, he cooks fantastic dishes. No one else makes a fritto misto like him. We recommend this place to all our friends because the food is really good. The atmosphere tonight was fantastic and they have a really good selection of wines. Congratulations, the staff knows what they are doing.

03/06/2025: 6 commensali per cena lasciati sotto la pioggia. Nonostante ci vedessero e continuassero a dire “che strano, non dava pioggia”, abbiamo dovuto insistere e chiedere se potessero spostarci o coprirci con l’ombrellone dopo aver assistito ad una sfuriata delle cameriere in mezzo a tutti. Tempi di attesa lunghissimi. Tra l’antipasto e i primi abbiamo aspettato un’ora. Non abbiamo mangiato una portata insieme e ci è arrivato un piatto ogni 10 minuti. Abbiamo ordinato la pasta fresca al pesto e ci è arrivato un piatto di fusilli tipo Barilla al pesto. Vino versato sgocciolando per tutto il tavolo. Caffe servito senza cucchiaini. Le aspettative erano alte dato il menu. Peccato. Non credo ci torneremo. Servizio deludente

05/05/2025: Purtroppo abbiamo beccato una serata un po' storta, perchè la nostra cena è stata un po' confusa e con tempistiche un po' lunghe. E' vero che il ristorante era pieno, ma si è respirata un po' di tensione tra lo staff, che è culminata con la comparsa dello chef in sala per discutere in maniera non proprio garbata con le ragazze della sala (discussione che si è protratta anche in cucina). Anche al momento del conto, abbiamo dovuto attendere l'arrivo di qualcuno perchè lo staff era in cucina, e questi disservizi hanno un po' cambiato il sapore di una cena che altrimenti sarebbe stata di livello discreto. Piatti abbondanti, ottimo il fritto e sapori all'altezza del luogo, ma non so se ci ritorneremo

21/07/2025: Two of us arrived at 8:30 PM without a reservation. They immediately found us a table on the terrace, not overlooking the view, but still pleasant. We had a mixed grill of fish and seared tuna in a poppy seed crust. Side: potatoes and fries. Half a bottle of local Pigato wine. The dishes were served fairly quickly, but when we were almost finished, we asked where the side dishes had gone, and the waiters realized they had served them to another table. We cancelled one of the two side dishes and still received a polite apology. My husband is celiac. They offered him just the grilled fish and potatoes, but they were quite satisfactory. Good, neither good nor bad.

22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.

20/05/2025: As far as I'm concerned, kind and thoughtful, as well as discreet, excellent breakfast and considering that we are in Alassio perhaps a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a single and then they gave me a double at the same price for reasons not better specified.....

26/05/2025: Abbiamo letto le recensioni al venerdì sera e abbiamo subito prenotato per il sabato sera , subito al telefono si vede la serie , ci avvisano che è pieno però se passiamo per le 21:30 un posto per 2 salterà fuori, così abbiamo seguito il consiglio, arrivati alle 21 :30 , ci hanno accolto con un gran sorriso e cortesia , tutti gli ingredienti sono di prima qualità, si vede e si sente , serviti nel tempo giusto , tutto cucinato a doc , hanno un ottimo menù , vasta scelta di vini e di dolci , spazi adeguati al cliente , prezzi nella norma , staff molto cordiali e simpatico , ci torneremo la prossima volta sicuramente, parcheggio in zona c’è , prenotare per tempo

31/08/2025: The food quality varied; some dishes were good, others decidedly less so, none of them memorable. The service was friendly but basic. At our table facing the street, the air was unbreathable due to the overwhelming smell of fried food and other things coming from the kitchen.

30/08/2025: Mixed fried fish with an unpleasant taste, pasta with oil and seafood in white sauce tasteless, the same goes for the pasta with clams, the raw fish is good, it's just a shame they put seared shrimp, if it's raw I don't want seared food.

06/08/2025: Cena super da Alfredo a Varazze: vista mare pazzesca, atmosfera elegante ma rilassata. Ogni piatto una vera bomba, da chiudere gli occhi e goderselo. Marina semplicemente perfetta: sa tutto, ti guida senza mai essere invadente ed ogni piatto diventa un’esperienza. Un posto VERO, tutto fatto per bene. Torneremo di sicuro per assaggiare tutti gli altri piatti del menù. ♥️ BRAVI!!!

30/04/2025: Cena con amici nella parte “Bistrot”. Tutto molto buono, prezzi adeguati (non abbiamo controllato il conto che poi a posteriori ci è parso un po’ caro) però la qualità ha un costo e quindi ci sta. Torneremo volentieri

26/04/2025: Takeaway fried calamari and prawns. I get home and open it: a very small portion, not worth the 13 euros spent, also because the shrimp are microscopic as are the rings. It only tasted like batter the fish was non-existent.

10/09/2025: My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant a few nights ago, hoping for a romantic evening to round off our pleasant stay in Albenga, but unfortunately, it didn't turn out that way. We ordered a cured meats appetizer that included several slices of salami, four slices of 90% fat pancetta (I wonder if the restaurant owner has ever heard of cholesterol...), and four slices of cooked ham. My husband very discreetly told the waitress that, in his opinion, cooked ham shouldn't be served in a fine appetizer. The waitress, probably exaggerating, told the chef, who came over to us, and in a loud, arrogant tone of voice, drawing the attention of the people at other tables, essentially told my husband that he shouldn't have made that comment since it was a top-quality cured meat. I'd like to point out that we come from the Norcia area, a truly excellent place for cured meats (it's no coincidence that the delicatessen owner is also called a norcino), and we frequent restaurants quite often, but never once have we been offered cooked ham as an appetizer. It's certainly considered inferior to raw ham, if not for the fact that it contains chemical additives, while the quality of raw ham depends on the curing process, which justifies the price difference. But what particularly bothered me wasn't the choice to include cooked ham, which we can respect but not agree with, but rather the decidedly arrogant tone of this person, completely contrary to the duty of hospitality that should be a must for any restaurateur. What can I say? Our evening didn't end well, and based on the experience we had, we consider this restaurant TO BE ABSOLUTELY AVOIDED.

02/09/2025: Found it by chance while wandering around the historic center. The waiters were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the delicious fritto misto, as were the desserts.
