11/08/2026: It's hard to find the right words to describe such a good restaurant. No other restaurant in the port of Genoa compares to this place! 💜 We ate delicious fish and seafood dishes. The pasta with lobster was delicious!! Everything is fresh and local... I highly recommend it!

10/08/2026: Excellent trattoria, especially the very good, very fresh fish, and the original dishes. We dined outside in a quiet and peaceful setting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. A little out of the way, but definitely worth it. We'll be back.

08/08/2026: This is our favorite restaurant in Lavagna, and one we’ve been coming back to. We love its small, authentic menu, refined dishes made with fresh ingredients, the kindness of the owner, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga are outstanding, the frittura di pesce is perfectly crispy (never gummy), and the tuna is always incredibly fresh, often straight from the day’s catch. It’s these little details—the quality of the ingredients, the care in the cooking, and the genuine hospitality—that set this restaurant apart from the usual tourist crowd. A true local gem that we’re always happy to return to.

08/08/2026: We had a wonderful time! I had dinner for my birthday, chosen based on the reviews, and I can confirm that the place is very small but welcoming. The staff was very kind and helpful, and we ate delicious! The breaded anchovies were amazing, light and crispy. The mixed grilled fish was excellent! We waited a bit for our main course, and the chef came out to apologize, even though the wait hadn't been that long! Since it was my birthday, they offered me dessert. I didn't have a cake, but I put candles on a panna cotta...excellent! The smell of cooking permeates the dining room a bit, but as my kids said, "We can stay because everything was delicious!" You can wash your clothes 😉! I recommend it, but reservations are a must!

19/04/2026: A wonderful experience, a historic Genoa restaurant, an elegant location with meticulous attention to detail. Kudos to the staff for the service, truly kind and professional, yet unobtrusive. A friend of mine tried the Zeffirino cheese focaccia with pesto and was amazed, so he complimented the kitchen. A few minutes passed, and Marco Zeffirino showed up at our table and sat down with us for a chat. He then brought us another portion of pesto, so I could try it with another friend. It was delicious, all accompanied by bread and focaccia. The evening continued beautifully. We enjoyed the appetizer, then moved on to the first courses. I had the tagliolini with lobster, and for the second course, the Ligurian-style catch of the day. We finished dinner with a delicious tiramisu made fresh in front of me, coffee, and Irish whiskey, in honor of the Peaky Blinders. Special thanks to Marco Zeffirino for his availability, a truly excellent host, we will definitely see you again.

06/08/2026: A great surprise! Dinner with a fork, excellent service from the head waiter. We started with some really good homemade bread and focaccia... appetizers, mixed seafood salad and shrimp cocktail, seafood pasta dishes, tagliolini with squid ink and tuna, and shrimp gnocchi with pesto drops. Desserts: warm apple strudel with ice cream, tiramisu, and panna cotta. Rose wine, Coke, water. We spent very little, quality at 10!! Less than €30 each!! Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: The atmosphere is that of an intimate, small, and comfortable tavern. The perfect spot for a quaint alleyway. The service is quick and attentive, thanks to its authenticity. The host and host explain the dishes, which are excellent in their simplicity. Compliments to the chef, who is skilled at preparing and displaying the dishes simply. It was a great evening. Everyone was happy (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child). The experience was excellent, and the price was very fair.

18/05/2026: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the positive reviews from other users. We are a group of 21 conscripts. I recommend it without a doubt. The dishes are delicious. Everyone agrees.

17/05/2026: It has a homey atmosphere and feels like a local diner. The wine was reasonably priced and delicious. We ordered squid ink and seafood risotto. The squid ink risotto was overpriced with hardly any ingredients. The seafood risotto, however, had plenty of seafood and was reasonably priced. Overall, it has a touristy feel to it.

16/07/2026: I had an absolutely wonderful experience during the pesto cooking class with Biti. Every step of making the pesto was explained with care, and the whole experience felt joyful, and inspiring. The pesto we prepared was absolutely delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. Thank you, Biti, for sharing your passion, your culture, and your kindness (and also for being so patient with my elementary italian). This was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone who wants to discover the real taste and spirit of Italy. Grazie mille! È stata davvero un’esperienza fantastica!

17/06/2026: From the outside it looks almost like an olde worlde pub but open the door and you’re in a Charles dickens curiosity shop restaurant, walls brimming with hundreds of wine bottles, and tables covered in white linen with comfortable homely chairs to sit in. The maitre D was a darling and looked after us 3 girls very well. We all commented on how we felt as if we were almost eating at our stately home and being looked after by a wonder butler 🤣 Good food and wine but the atmosphere was my favourite thing. Grazie Mille we will 100% be back!
