09/01/2026: Fresh and authentic fish cuisine (octopus carpaccio, salt cod bourrida, seared tuna, stoccafisso, etc.), generous portions, very reasonable prices, a calm and family-friendly atmosphere, and attentive service—it's exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend it. P.S.: The price range we've indicated includes a shared starter for two, a second course each, a dessert, white wine, and a grappa.

I recommend typical dishes with their traditional names: capone magro, a surprise for non-Genoese who might expect capon, but instead... Cod frisceu, and in this case, you need to either guess or learn a few dialect terms that immerse the tourist in the most authentic Genoese atmosphere. Mandilli (also a must here) with pesto, and everyone knows this one. Breaded and fried anchovies. The rest of the menu is discovered by sitting at the tables of this trattoria with its barrel-vaulted ceilings and unique location, at the end of a narrow alleyway, where the entrance is located, and behind one of the city's most beautiful buildings, Palazzo San Giorgio, in the area of ​​the Old Port, the Bigo, and the Aquarium. The quality, quantity, and price ratio is excellent.

30/12/2025: Tiny place with a strong smell of fried food. You have to wait in line, and I understand why. It's because there are so few tables, the tap water is uncapped, and you pay extra for non-tap water, and even coffee isn't included in the menu. The owner wasn't very friendly. The food was terrible, and the place wasn't well-ventilated. A bad experience. The owner was very haughty and rude. Fly down.

07/09/2025: Super friendly staff, very, very good food, the only place we eat sashimi. They're atypical Chinese here, "Emilian" Chinese. As soon as you get to know them, you feel at home (so much so that they bring a table fan if you're hot at dinner). A regular stop every week. Try it and believe it! Before Christmas, we booked dinner for sixteen people, agreeing, since we would be arriving late, to a set menu of their choice of appetizers, a main course, and a house dessert, for €25 per person. I don't want to comment on the welcome, because "friendliness" could be subjective (although "snorting" at everything seemed objectively rude to those present). Since we were celebrating a birthday and had brought a cake, we asked (in advance) if we could have a bottle for a toast instead of the house dessert. We were told no, that they only had champagne for €70. However, when they didn't even bring us the house dessert, we were told that the kitchen was closed, and we had our own cake anyway. And of course, the price was not discounted. Very unfair behavior, in our opinion.

The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, paired with an exceptional Gewurztraminer. The service was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

31/01/2026: I had the raw fish appetizer and creamed cod. Both were excellent. The spaghetti with truffle, beetroot, and anchovies was absolutely amazing...fantastic! The spaghetti with artichokes and red mullet was also truly delicious and delicate. Go for it!

19/08/2025: A small restaurant along the Aurelia road, near the Sestri train station. Tasty food, especially seafood, and excellent minestrone soup. Moderate prices.

14/12/2025: A colorful trattoria located inside the Continental Hotel. The location remains welcoming and original. The Ligurian specialties (especially fish) were fabulous and of high quality (it's a shame about the apple pie, which was really too creamy). The wines and dessert wines were good. The service was fast and well-managed, with very friendly staff.

13/12/2025: A very well-kept and, above all, welcoming restaurant with professional staff. I drank Bulgheri wine and ate Genoese focaccia with cheese, finishing with a passito wine and a wonderful chestnut dessert. The dishes were few, but definitely good.
