12/10/2025: Great food and friendly service. I visit Sestri several times a year, but this time I spent my vacation there with my wife. I'd never eaten here before, although I'd passed by many times, and this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. We stumbled upon it by chance. It was the first restaurant near the train station open so early, and we had to wait until 2:00 PM for the keys to our apartment. I hope to visit them again. I drive past it on my way to Fivizano or Lucca at work.

05/10/2025: Personally, the restaurant is truly excellent, both for its meat and seafood menus. The pizza is tasty and well-made, and the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. The staff is helpful and very friendly, making the service excellent. I often come here to eat with friends, and it never disappoints.

02/10/2025: We've visited over twenty Michelin-starred restaurants around the world; Le Cantine deserves a star. Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

23/03/2026: A historic restaurant in Sori that I began frequenting in the early 1990s, when it was still located in its old location, which was rendered unusable by a flood. At the time, the main business was takeout, but it was also possible to dine in the small dining room. The owners' decision to move the business to a new location gave rise to what it is today: a trattoria where, in a welcoming and informal atmosphere, you can enjoy traditional Genoese dishes, as well as a remarkable variety of farinata, pizzas, vegetable pies, and homemade desserts. All this is accompanied by a truly excellent wine list. Of course, there's also a selection of beers, including their own. Whenever I'm passing through the area, it's always a pleasure to dine at this trattoria.

15/03/2026: A typical restaurant that reflects Genoese tradition. It's a 10-minute walk from the old port and convenient to the historic center. The owner welcomed us and served us well; he also speaks excellent English. The food is excellent and they have a good wine selection. Recommended. I also recommend making a reservation.

02/03/2026: Personally, I wasn't satisfied, as it's a place almost on the sea. I would have expected more choice in fish-based first courses. I had the Genoese ravioli with meat sauce, which I have to say were good quality but overcooked. For the second course, the grilled prawns, however, I had the impression they were frozen, they didn't have a good consistency and were all mushy. I really liked the dessert, even though it's difficult to get the torta della nonna wrong.

28/12/2025: Trattoria with "homemade" cuisine. Tourist alert. The food was low quality for the price. Don't be fooled by the display; the fish wasn't as fresh as they would have you believe. All served with typical warm Genoese hospitality. Update: We were sick during the night.

11/01/2026: Nothing special. An unremarkable place from the outside. Nice inside. Friendly owners. The food is decent, but nothing exceptional. The bill is a bit steep.

05/01/2026: We'd like to share our pleasant experience at lunch here today. We found the atmosphere comfortable and the staff very friendly, who made us feel at ease and explained the local dishes, which we found excellent, from the trio of anchovies appetizer (delicious) to the seafood spaghetti and the wonderful pandolce. We'll definitely be back!

03/10/2025: Last night, for my son's 18th birthday, we went to this restaurant... WOW! It was my first time there and I was so happy. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious; you could really taste the quality! But what struck me most was the attention they gave us. They were incredibly kind and accommodating to our every request. It's not just the food (which, I repeat, was top-notch!), but the entire experience, the atmosphere, and the care they put into it. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: We ordered a different starter which was served out of kindness and was not changed. I believe the price per dish does not correspond to the type of cuisine.

07/03/2026: Dining at Osteria da Fiore in San Polo is always a memorable experience. The service and attentive service are excellent, and the ingredients are expertly selected and prepared by Chef Mara, a Michelin-starred chef for 25 years. In short, if you want to experience Venice, Osteria Da Fiore is the best choice, even if you have food intolerances that might cause you concern. The restaurant is well-equipped, and you can enjoy a delicious and worry-free experience. Enjoy Venice!

06/03/2026: Disappointing value for money. An appetizer of moleche (six moleche) cost €70, presented as "off-menu" with no price listed. Two first courses of tagliolini au gratin with scampi (not much) and radicchio, where the cheese and radicchio "killed" the flavor of the fish. Two glasses of wine, two bottles of water, and a dessert: total €200. Expensive, and the quality of the dinner, price aside, didn't leave a good impression. The service was friendly and courteous.

05/03/2026: Restaurant - pizzeria with fresh meat and huge variety of dishes for meat lovers 🥩 Expensive compared to competitors (59€ for one-dish meal with drinks for 2). Attentive service, local atmosphere. Wooden 🪵- dark interior design. Spiedone di Maiale definitely worth trying - meat on a vertical stick. Some fatty bits but fine. Pizza del Dragone average - too much rucola on top and for 14€ should be more attractive in taste. Aperol Spritz - excellent! 🍸 2 small potatoes for 5€ - no comment 😅 Place for meat lovers only. All in all ratio prices to quality not very good. We didn’t eat a lot but paid nearly 60€. Size of meals rather small as for Italy. The atmosphere is not super cosy and the seats are not super comfortable either. I expected something better.
