12/10/2025: the place is nice, very beautiful beach side... the food feels like it's quality but there's little punch in the dishes... tagliolini with squid ink was completely lacking in salt... fried porcini mushrooms so thin that you couldn't even taste the porcini... exceptional jam tart...

26/08/2025: I've been going here since I was a child with my family (we live nearby). I was such a pain in the ass that they called me "the pest." Yet they've always been tolerant, kind, and patient. That's why I still go and always will. And then, of course, because the food is fantastic, the location is beautiful, and the view is breathtaking.

10/10/2025: Very nice Place for a dinner. We liked the outside area and had fantastic mussels that I can really recommend and was a huge portion! Service was good, everyone was friendly. 1 star less since the grilled fish plate was more good, however not great since we expected more fish but it’s a well mixed plate with seafood.

The staff is helpful and very friendly, making the service excellent. I often come here to eat with friends, and it never disappoints.

03/10/2025: Every aspect of the evening was amazing. Our hosts took such good care of us and the food was extraordinary. We love Italian food. The from pasta Bolognese made perfectly to mussels in wine sauce and spaghetti vongole... Everything was great. But the crown was the special pasta with truffles made in a parmesan wheel. I've tried this dish at many restaurants, but now I understand why it is such a specialty. Dessert topped it off with tiramisu and a ricotta cake with chocolate sauce. 06/09/2025: A beautiful, elegant place in this historic corner of Genoa. I came for lunch with friends. As we walked into the dining room, the restaurant has small dining rooms, or outside, offering a view of Genoa's internal streets. As we walked inside, under the floor, we could admire a beautiful wine cellar. The place is well-stocked, and it was spectacular to admire the cellar as it was used many years ago. We ordered mixed appetizers: raw tuna tartare, very fresh peeled shrimp, excellent stuffed sardines or classic fried deboned sardines. The scallops, I must say, were an excellent appetizer and very generous. My friends had seafood risotto, while I, being in Genoa, had trofie with pesto, which was very good and inviting. I also mopped up the sauce with pieces of delicious focaccia, which was brought with the bread. We drank an excellent, fragrant Vermentino, and to help digest, we brought a delicious house lemon sorbet. I compliment the owner having had lunch in this historic place with a very pleasant and enjoyable silence while eating without hearing a rustle.

17/08/2025: I came here for a business lunch. The setting is undeniably sumptuous and high-end. As is the service... high-end, attentive, near-perfect. The chef presented us with the most interesting dishes with great attention to detail. We ordered a main course and a dessert. In my opinion, everything was exquisite, both in terms of the combinations, the quality of the ingredients, and the technique. If I really had to find a flaw... I'd say it's expensive, but I think that's acceptable.

30/09/2025: BELISSIOMMO! BONISSIOMMO! Delicious! We ordered the fish soup—it's a culinary masterpiece! I also recommend ordering the white wine made especially for this tavern, La Perla. The owners, a husband and wife team of venerable ages, continue to cook and serve guests alongside a young staff. The hostess sang us a song in the local dialect and wished us many pleasant things. Highly recommended.

27/09/2025: Such warmth from this incredibly loving couple, who are certainly over 80 years old and still run La Perla impeccably! We were absolutely thrilled; the quality of the food was top-notch and simple, just as Italian food should be! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We were absolutely satisfied with the food (we had mussels, sardines, and tuna of excellent quality) and, above all, the service. We travel a lot in Italy, but this was a very emotional experience.

11/09/2025: The food was excellent, you can feel the quality and expertise of a family restaurant. The decor is warm and welcoming, you immediately feel at home. Special mention for the seafood pasta 🦞, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!

16/10/2025: I returned to this restaurant after having been there with a Genoese friend. It is located in the central area but a little out of the way, it is really worth reaching it.

10/06/2025: Very quiet place located in the historic alleys of Genoa, we ordered a cup of fried food and it was really good, it wasn't greasy at all and the batter was perfectly crispy, pansotti and trofie were truly exceptional. The waitress was really kind, a place where you feel at home. Normal prices, we didn't spend much.
