Her explanations of the origins of the dishes are fascinating, transporting you to a bygone era that comes to life through taste. Every detail is carefully curated, from the impeccable service to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that exudes passion and authenticity. The first courses with Genoese pesto are a touch of Ligurian tradition: fragrant, balanced...unforgettable. The elegant and spectacular cappon magro is a symphony of sea and land that expresses the most authentic Liguria. And finally, the "Gérard de Pardier" dessert is simply irresistible. The Scuderie dell'Astronauta is a must-see for anyone visiting Genoa; the cuisine is not just about flavor but a journey between tradition and fantasy.

12/10/2025: Great food and friendly service. I visit Sestri several times a year, but this time I spent my vacation there with my wife. I'd never eaten here before, although I'd passed by many times, and this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. We stumbled upon it by chance. It was the first restaurant near the train station open so early, and we had to wait until 2:00 PM for the keys to our apartment. I hope to visit them again. I drive past it on my way to Fivizano or Lucca at work.

05/10/2025: Personally, the restaurant is truly excellent, both for its meat and seafood menus. The pizza is tasty and well-made, and the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. The staff is helpful and very friendly, making the service excellent. I often come here to eat with friends, and it never disappoints.

Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

30/09/2025: BELISSIOMMO! BONISSIOMMO! Delicious! We ordered the fish soup—it's a culinary masterpiece! I also recommend ordering the white wine made especially for this tavern, La Perla. The owners, a husband and wife team of venerable ages, continue to cook and serve guests alongside a young staff. The hostess sang us a song in the local dialect and wished us many pleasant things. Highly recommended.

27/09/2025: Such warmth from this incredibly loving couple, who are certainly over 80 years old and still run La Perla impeccably! We were absolutely thrilled; the quality of the food was top-notch and simple, just as Italian food should be! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We were absolutely satisfied with the food (we had mussels, sardines, and tuna of excellent quality) and, above all, the service. We travel a lot in Italy, but this was a very emotional experience.

16/10/2025: I returned to this restaurant after having been there with a Genoese friend. It is located in the central area but a little out of the way, it is really worth reaching it.

10/06/2025: Very quiet place located in the historic alleys of Genoa, we ordered a cup of fried food and it was really good, it wasn't greasy at all and the batter was perfectly crispy, pansotti and trofie were truly exceptional. The waitress was really kind, a place where you feel at home. Normal prices, we didn't spend much.

17/11/2025: One of the best places we've ever been to!!! The chef was very attentive and came out to explain the menu. We ate incredibly well. Ambient music would be a perfect complement to the place ❤️

15/10/2025: The refined atmosphere was truly impressive. We dined here for lunch (we arrived well after our reservation time), a couple of us. Chef Matteo greeted us with great hospitality. The fish dishes we ate were beautifully prepared, as was the presentation (the fresh fish tartare and the seared scallop were truly exceptional). The first courses were equally impressive. You could taste the love for the cuisine. The prices were in line with the quality of the product and the service. It's worth stopping by.

03/10/2025: Every aspect of the evening was amazing. Our hosts took such good care of us and the food was extraordinary. We love Italian food. The from pasta Bolognese made perfectly to mussels in wine sauce and spaghetti vongole... Everything was great. But the crown was the special pasta with truffles made in a parmesan wheel. I've tried this dish at many restaurants, but now I understand why it is such a specialty. Dessert topped it off with tiramisu and a ricotta cake with chocolate sauce. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

14/10/2025: All I can say is: WOW! The ambiance is very inviting, the staff incredibly friendly, and the food tempts you to go back again, even if you only planned to eat there once. It's a bit cramped, but that didn't bother us. We had really great meals twice, and I can recommend this restaurant to anyone. For me, it's one of the best, if not the best, in Rapallo.
