07/09/2025: Fantastic find! Amazing food in a beautiful, quiet little square. The pasta was perfect and the service was great. Highly recommend.

30/08/2025: Thirteen people came for dinner and found it delicious. We had nothing to complain about. Everyone had something different. From lobster, spaghetti, and lasagna, everything was there, and everything was fine and reasonably priced. We'd be happy to go again.

15/07/2025: Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to try this sushi place, even though the menu was very inspiring. Every time I've made a reservation, I've been called a couple of hours before to be told the place is closed that day or rented for private events. Honestly, I'm starting to doubt it's just a restaurant.

28/08/2025: I booked a table for two for lunch, and frankly, I was surprised at how pointless my reservation was. The lady at the counter seated people before us without reservations. After a wait of a good 20 minutes, she put us at a table with other strangers... Why accept reservations if they're then ignored? The service was quite quick, the waiter was kind. As for the food, I had linguine with seafood ragù, which was good but a little too al dente... And the baby shrimp tasted like anything but shrimp. I don't want to blame the restaurant, but the next day I had nausea and a stomachache. (It could be a coincidence, or not.)

11/08/2025: If you want some authentic pasta and a wine specific to the area, you've come to the right place! It's a small restaurant with a small terrace between the blocks, intimate... An extraordinary taste! I recommend

10/07/2025: Horrible. Just horrible! Waiting for food for 2 hours!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food was brought cold! I didn't even eat it, the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the bread with pesto! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. The place is just disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star only for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant in my experience

27/07/2025: Very good food, a wide selection of seafood and fish dishes, home-style cooking, but with careful plating and sophisticated flavor combinations. The staff is very friendly and helpful; for me, who is lactose intolerant, they even brought a dessert from the menu, adapting it to my needs. The only thing that's a bit off-putting is the location, which is divided into two parts. The inner room is bright and better maintained, while the other room is decidedly darker, with dark orange walls and dim table lights. Both rooms, however, are decorated with fun and unique paintings. Excellent value for money. If we ever come to Sestri Levante again, we'll definitely be back.

26/07/2025: Early this year, I saw a TV show on Venice and they featured an upmarket seafood restaurant and interviewed the head chef and owner Mara Martin. They featured a local oyster and I was hooked (pun intended) so I booked. It was very special. The way they looked after the kids(we were a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 children under 10) was second to none. The food was spectacularly delicious, service attentive but not pretentious, everything was simply spot on. The oysters were on par with anything Aus can dish up. I asked if I could meet Mara. Of course they obliged. I have the pic to prove it. This experience was a holiday highlight. If you’re reading this because you’re not sure about booking a table. Do it! Now!

14/08/2025: This restaurant has been our go-to stop for many years now, the start of our long-awaited holidays! Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and a friendly owner. Both regulars and new guests mingle, and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel part of a community. Good food, a real place. You might even encounter baptisms, birthdays of centenarian grandmothers, or Sunday family reunions, but always without excessive noise and stressed waiters! You will always be welcome!

22/08/2025: I never leave negative reviews because I believe a bad night can happen. But I think what happened to us needs to be reported: after the appetizers, our dishes were forgotten, and despite reminders, we waited over an hour before finding out what was happening. Apologies, justifications, or even wine were of little use: a beautiful evening was unacceptably ruined. With these prices (€115 for five appetizers + water—wine was complimentary), such a neglect is unacceptable. Incidentally, my appetizer (shrimp tartare for €25) was absolutely not worth the price. The place is beautiful, but everything else was a huge disappointment.

02/07/2025: An experience to remember I went to Trattoria Carlito and, although the service was a bit slow, understandably, given that there was only one person in the room, the kindness and professionalism with which I was welcomed made the wait completely acceptable. The food, simply, speaks for itself. I tried ravioli with saffron cream, shrimp, scampi and trumpet courgettes, truly sublime: a perfect balance of flavours and aromas, with a very successful combination. For dessert, a yogurt cake with red fruits, soft as a cloud. Despite the generous portion, not at all cloying. Light, fresh, perfect. I highly recommend this place to those who love good food. I will definitely be back, sooner or later. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience!

27/07/2025: We decided to visit La Lanterna based on its strong reviews, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. We ordered three dishes: the trofie al pesto, pansoti con salsa di noci, and grilled vegetables. All three arrived lukewarm or cold, giving the impression they weren’t freshly prepared. The trofie al pesto was decent, though unremarkable — but more concerning, we found what was clearly a fly in the dish (wings and legs intact). When we brought it to our waitress’s attention, she kindly took the plate to the kitchen. She was professional and understanding throughout. However, the dish was returned to us with the explanation — apparently from the chef or manager — that the “fly” was actually an ingredient from the pesto. We initially accepted this, but as the meal went on, it became clear the staff was not being forthright. If it truly wasn’t a fly, why had the “ingredient” been removed before the dish was returned? We chose not to press the issue further, but the way it was handled — offering no solution and brushing aside our concern — felt dismissive. The pansoti con salsa di noci was edible but tasted like it had been made with frozen pasta, was served cold, and lacked depth of flavor. The grilled vegetables were the most enjoyable part of the meal, though again, they arrived cold. While we didn’t enjoy the food, I do want to emphasize that our waitresses were very kind and attentive, and we appreciated their efforts. In all, this visit fell short of expectations. With so many great dining options nearby, I’d recommend looking elsewhere
