14/09/2025: A beach resort, Puntarossa, which is, first and foremost, a restaurant: da Renatone. The owner and his family will welcome you with their authenticity, as genuine as their cuisine.
The menu is simple (the daily specials are delicious), yet the cuisine fully showcases the flavors of the freshest ingredients (garlic and onion are prohibited). Must-try dishes include the bruschetta with chicory and prawns, the spaghetti with clams, the catch of the day (baked with mixed vegetables), and the fried fish, which I dare say is perfect: dry (without oil) and crispy.
The service is decidedly authentic, sometimes unfortunately confused, but always friendly.

12/04/2026: This was our first restaurant during our stay in Rome… and we ended up going back on our last night! It was our best experience: the food and the staff were so friendly. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We highly recommend it.
09/04/2026: We received a warm welcome and were seated quickly. We ordered a plate of Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe pasta. The prices seemed slightly high for the portions, but the food was good. However, we waited a long time for the bill, which we finally had to ask for after several attempts.

There were 4 of us and we ate one at a time.
The tables next to us were in the same situation.
Unacceptable.
It's a shame, but I don't recommend it.

12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.
12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole).
Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.

Generous and delicious dishes are served with a smile, which, combined with the goodness of the cooking, multiplies the flavor. Compliments to the chef in the kitchen. Highly recommended. You'll be back once you've discovered it. Enjoy your meal!

The fish was fresh, well-cooked, and beautifully presented.
The small space creates an intimate atmosphere where you can chat and relax.
The owner is very kind and attentive, but never intrusive!
I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend it to my friends.

We weren't even asked if we wanted other dishes. The place is nice, but the management is inadequate. It's a shame that in previous years the service was much better. Not even a single euro discount!
06/04/2026: We waited a very long time without being notified of any problems in the kitchen. The dishes we didn't order arrived because some items were gone in the meantime.
Absolutely not recommended, especially given the owner's rudeness and indifference.

19/04/2026: Everything tasteless and unsalted, but everything with a lot of oil, and too much of it. A bland fried dish, tasteless spaghetti with clams, and unsalted pasta. After asking for a bottle of water five times, we finally managed to get one, only to be charged two bottles on the bill. The only table under the sun at 2 PM made eating a torture.

24/05/2025: A place known by pure chance, but it was a very pleasant discovery.
The welcoming and nicely furnished environment, entire room, veranda and in the summer also outside.
The service bordering on impeccable, courteous, polite and helpful.
The excellent cuisine, the fish is delicious, the fresh pasta excellent and cooked to perfection, fried calamari excellent, the best I have ever eaten, crispy and slightly greasy batter, which makes it light and not at all heavy.
We recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat well and in peace.

An employee was at the door, very friendly when we entered, but after we ate he was incredibly rude and didn't even say goodbye, even though we had already eaten and paid. The food is mediocre and priced for tourists. Expensive for what it's worth. I don't recommend it.

Simple service, a simple bar, unpretentious, stuck in its time, and paying 2 euros for a coffee seems excessive to me. Maybe because I'm a tourist? Goodbye.
