I ate here because I was staying at the hotel the night before my flight home. Both the pasta dish (mezzaluna) and the main course (mixed seafood grill) were beautifully presented but strangely underseasoned--and no salt or pepper were provided at the table. I got the impression that they were more interested in producing Instagram-ready dishes than in how they tasted. The service was friendly but a little too efficient in clearing away plates so the next shift could be seated. Would probably not come here again.

The hotel is very nice but there was a couple of things I didn't like. I picked it because they have a swimming pool but they charge you €3.00 euros for a towel and €3.00 for a cap. They expect you to wear a cap in the pool. The pool towels were that old and thin. Surely they can buy some new ones if tgeh charge fir them. They advertise that they have an airport shuttle but then they charge you €7.00 each for the service. The worst thing about the breakfast was the breakfast. It was awful. Hardly anything there and what they had was any good. The croissants were burnt underneath. They shouldn't have even been put out. They didn't have proper tea making facilites.

01/03/2024: Friendly and helpful staff, very good food. The location could be modernized, but it takes second place compared to the treatment received.
25/12/2023: Very nice and welcoming restaurant, well-trained and very kind staff, rich and varied menu, all fresh and delicious, easy to reach both by car, bus and taxi. Absolutely fair and average prices, everything is quality and fresh, from fish to meat, an absolute must, both for lunch and dinner, for birthday parties, or for family or business lunches or dinners. To try, and to return, alone or in company, absolutely.

20/03/2024: Definitely not your average hotel restaurant: carefully-researched ingredients that rotate with the seasons and come from ethical producers, an impressive selection of all natural wines, and a menu that while not “traditional Italian”-y is actually a lot more representative of traditional Italian food than the tourist menus. I’m picky when it comes to food, but this nook is yummy and a good value for the products offered. Recommended both for appetizers at the bar (the pulled beef mini bun and fried anchovies are stellar) and for a casual-yet-elegant dinner out in a hidden corner of Trastevere :) (In the summer, enjoy the terrace. In the winter, lounge in the downstairs lobby)
