02/11/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere with a splendid lake view, impeccable service, kind and courteous staff, excellent food, I will definitely be back with pleasure, the restaurant also has an internal bar service.
02/11/2025: The atmosphere is stuck in the '90s! The welcome is average.
Poor quality food; not even the fries were good, overcooked.
The scampi cream risotto was missing the scampi and was of terrible quality, with rubbery fried food.
They also forgot to bring me a glass of white wine; I had to ask twice.
The only redeeming feature is the view from the outdoor veranda, but you can admire the lake without eating badly and, above all, without wasting €100.

13/09/2025: I'd gladly give the ambiance more than 5 stars – fantastic outdoor dining, superbly tasteful interior design. Great details. The only minor drawback to the outdoor dining: The lido you overlook isn't the prettiest in Lignano. But that's not the restaurant's fault... The food was delicious, not run-of-the-mill, but not overly fancy either. Even our two kindergarten children found something to eat... The service was friendly, and our stumbling Italian wasn't needed because German was spoken. And you can't complain about the price – not cheap, but literally value for money. Absolutely recommended.
12/09/2025: Undoubtedly a beautiful location. The service could be much improved. A long wait for the ordered wine to finally arrive; I had to ask for it several times. The bread was stale; I'd almost say I've never eaten harder bread. I was sent inside to pay the bill. For the first time in Lignano in many years, there was no grappa or something similar on the house – quite surprising...
I can't say anything negative about the quality of the food; it was good, but not outstanding either. Considering the high price range, the overall result was rather disappointing.

15/09/2025: We took the poke and server gave us a really small portion and didn’t try to help us understand the menu. Over all the poke was ok but no more. The tuna looked old and the avocado wasn’t fresh.

10/11/2025: The place is really beautiful and welcoming, but unfortunately the fresh fish wasn't of the highest quality. Furthermore, the bathroom was dirty and smelly. It's a shame, because the location really deserves better. I don't think I'll be back.
05/11/2025: It's finally reopened! In this wonderful atmosphere, unlike anywhere else. The food, as always, is delicious, and the wines are excellent!

26/10/2025: The worst. Better to stay hungry than eat in this place. Pizza is terrible. If I hadn't eaten pizza in other restaurants in Rome and only ate in this particular place, I would have thought that Italian pizza is a fairy tale. The prices are very high while the food is not worth it at all. But the service is even worse. They don't love what they do. They hate it and it shows. Stay away from them.
25/10/2025: The food was okay, but the service was not good and rather unpleasant. They constantly try to make money off you; if you order wine, a bottle is opened right at your table. The most outrageous thing, however, was the €17 service charge on the bill, along with the note that tips weren't included. Simply a tourist rip-off.

12/11/2025: Listed as a 5-star, I will give it a 2 at best. The bathroom was filthy, the shower area full of mold. We proved it to the attendant by scraping some of the dirt with a tissue paper. Additionally two of the five days we stayed at the hotel we didn’t have hot water. When complaining about it the technician came to the room opened all the faucets, shower and bidet to full capacity for 15 minutes to get some lukewarm water. Here you have hot water he said.
The only reasonable thing is the location but because of this they take advantage of you.
07/11/2025: The location is great, everything is within walking distance or easily accessible by metro. Yes, the rooms are dated, there's visible mold in the bathroom and a noticeable smell – but still, for the price and location, it's acceptable. Don't expect too much. It's not a 5-star hotel by German standards, more like a 3-star.
The beds are okay.

08/07/2025: La comida es insípida y sosa para los precios que se cobran. La pasta está demasiado salada para disimularlo y los productos cárnicos son gomosos.
Sin embargo, lo que me motivó a tomarme el esfuerzo de crear una cuenta para escribir esta reseña fue la forma tan grosera en que nos apresuraron y trataron al final de la comida. Nos pidieron que enumeráramos lo que habíamos pedido y nos molestó que no diésemos una respuesta inmediata.
Aunque hay varios camareros, en realidad interactuamos con cuatro personas diferentes que tomaban nuestros pedidos de comida y bebida. No parece que tengan una estructura lógica sobre cómo atienden a los clientes o dividen responsabilidades y mesas. Se convierte en un caos la tarea de conseguir que los clientes entren y salgan lo más rápido posible y hay mucha incompetencia por todos lados.
08/07/2025: ¡Una verdadera experiencia si estás en Roma! Mimmo te trata como a una familia. La comida es excelente. El ambiente es increíble. La decoración es perfecta. Las mesas estaban alineadas afuera y la gente seguía entrando. Fue un final increíble para nuestras vacaciones.

07/06/2025: Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante. La location è carina, alcuni piatti sono buoni, ma il servizio confusionario. Ho chiesto due volte un'altra focaccia, mai arrivata. Un secondo cestino di pane l'ho dovuto chiedere tre volte. Antipasto zi rocco meritevole, anche se per i miei standard un po' esiguo nella quantità. Mi ha colpito in negativo la grigliata di pesce. Un pezzetto di pesce, uno scampo, due gamberi. Non tornerò

07/09/2025: An experience, both personal and for those at my table, that was unforgettable in every way.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we were literally kicked out of the place.
We arrived, we asked where we could sit, and no one showed us where without accompanying us, which is something that happens everywhere I've been, but we decided to overlook this seemingly pointless matter, so we had to choose ourselves.
As we sat down, a waiter came over and literally threw the menus at us from behind without saying anything (a rather rude gesture). We decided to overlook this aspect as well, even though it was more significant than the first. When they came to take my partner's and my order, we felt very intimidated by what we'd chosen (because he looked at us like a couple of poor wretches). We decided to overlook this as well, because ultimately it was just our gut feeling, even if it was obvious. They brought us drinks by slamming the water on the table in an incredible way, and that was fine... the only positive note, so far, is that everything arrived promptly; they practically didn't make us wait for anything. But let's continue with the story. While we were finishing our first course, they came to ask us what we wanted for the second course, and we simply replied that we had to decide. Two minutes later, my partner went to the bathroom, and the waiter returned, asking me what I wanted for the second course. I replied, thanking him, saying that I didn't want anything else. He then asked me how I wanted to pay and immediately brought me the payment card so I could pay at the table without asking, emphasizing that all this had happened in about a minute. By the time my partner returned from the bathroom, we had to get up and leave. Truly unfriendly in every way. If you want a quick bite to eat and then leave, it's a fine place, but if you expect even a modicum of courtesy, definitely leave it alone. I don't recommend it.
