06/09/2025: Found while searching for oysters in the area for a whim, this restaurant hides beautiful, well-kept outdoor spaces—a real surprise considering the location! It feels like entering another dimension. It's true that I entered right after opening time (the hour when they don't even expect anyone to enter), but I chose the most beautiful corner and was pampered in a way I'd call regal. Fresh and creative seafood cuisine: the mixed raw fish was excellent, the dishes flavorful and never boring. And challenging! Adequate portions and a fair value. The wine list is decent, even though I only tried the Prosecco, which was very pleasant. This place deserves a visit to explore the various menu options. It also seems dog-friendly; I noticed dogs being welcomed into the dining room as I was leaving. In my opinion, it's unforgettable for a relaxing summer evening with good food!

23/06/2025: This place needs a lot of constructive feedback. The restaurant is nice and cozy, but the positive notes stop there. The service was very slow. The pasta arrived overcooked, the one that was supposed to be with lemon didn't taste like lemon, the Gyoza pasta was hard, the ceviche had parsley instead of coriander (as written on the menu and as the original recipe calls for), the chicory was inedible, the fish soup was a mussel saute with a bit of calamari in it and a vague trace of fish bones, the hamburger was dry. And let's not even talk about the meatball sauce. That said, the fish was very fresh, the tuna was small but good, the bread was fresh, the caponata was good, the wine was also good. Finally, the quality (and quantity) of the food did not match the rather high expectations given the place and also given the menu that on paper also has tasty dishes

05/08/2025: Ottimo ristorante, si presenta veramente molto bene sia per la posizione con vista mare che per l’accoglienza. Tutto è molto pulito ed il personale è cortesissimo. I bagni sono ben tenuti ma meriterebbero un restayling. Si mangia bene anche se probabilmente il pesce non è locale anche se siamo ad Ostia. In ogni caso le linguine all’astice erano buone, solo un po’ più di sale non avrebbe guastato. Eccellente il dolce. Non altrettanto la bieta. Insomma si mangia bene ed il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo.

Sin dal primo incontro, l'organizzazione è risultata impeccabile, dimostrando una professionalità e un’attenzione ai dettagli che hanno reso ogni fase della preparazione un vero piacere. Il cibo è stato assolutamente delizioso, superando le nostre aspettative. Ogni portata era un'esplosione di sapori, preparata con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Gli ospiti non hanno fatto altro che elogiare le pietanze, rendendo il nostro giorno ancora più speciale. Un altro punto di forza è stato lo staff, sempre cortese e disponibile. Hanno creato un'atmosfera calda e accogliente, facendo sentire tutti a proprio agio. In particolare, voglio esprimere un grazie speciale a Claudia, che ha saputo accontentare ogni nostra richiesta con grande pazienza e professionalità. 13/09/2025: I'd gladly give the ambiance more than 5 stars – fantastic outdoor dining, superbly tasteful interior design. Great details. The only minor drawback to the outdoor dining: The lido you overlook isn't the prettiest in Lignano. But that's not the restaurant's fault... The food was delicious, not run-of-the-mill, but not overly fancy either. Even our two kindergarten children found something to eat... The service was friendly, and our stumbling Italian wasn't needed because German was spoken. And you can't complain about the price – not cheap, but literally value for money. Absolutely recommended.

12/09/2025: Undoubtedly a beautiful location. The service could be much improved. A long wait for the ordered wine to finally arrive; I had to ask for it several times. The bread was stale; I'd almost say I've never eaten harder bread. I was sent inside to pay the bill. For the first time in Lignano in many years, there was no grappa or something similar on the house – quite surprising... I can't say anything negative about the quality of the food; it was good, but not outstanding either. Considering the high price range, the overall result was rather disappointing.

15/09/2025: We took the poke and server gave us a really small portion and didn’t try to help us understand the menu. Over all the poke was ok but no more. The tuna looked old and the avocado wasn’t fresh.

25/07/2025: Ho partecipato ad una festa aziendale ieri. La struttura è bella e ben tenuta, ci siamo posizionati praticamente in riva al mare, c'era posto per sedere con gazebi bianchi molto carini. Cibo che strabordava ed alcol come da nostra richiesta. Desideravo sottolineare anche la cortesia dell staff, in particolare, Fabio che ci ha accolti sempre con il sorriso e Simona che all'ingresso è stata simpatica, professionale e super precisa. In fine una bella torta inaugurata con fontane di fuochi d'artificio tutto con musica durante la serata.Alla prossima

21/06/2025: Titolo: Pranzo con vista mare al V Lounge Beach – un angolo di relax a Ostia Oggi abbiamo pranzato al V Lounge Beach di Ostia… e ci siamo regalati un momento che sa di estate. Atmosfera elegante ma rilassata, con il suono delle onde a fare da sottofondo. La brezza marina accarezza i tavoli, il profumo di mare si mescola a quello del pesce appena grigliato. Abbiamo scelto un antipasto misto di mare: crudi freschissimi, tartare delicate, e polpo tenerissimo. A seguire, una grigliata abbondante, cotta alla perfezione. Il tutto accompagnato da un calice di bianco ghiacciato, perfetto con il sole alto sul litorale. Servizio attento ma mai invadente. Ritmi giusti, sorriso sincero. Il tempo sembrava essersi fermato. Un posto dove tornare, magari al tramonto. Perché certi pranzi non nutrono solo lo stomaco. Ma anche l’anima.

29/09/2025: This was a complete rip-off. And they're not ashamed of it. Porcini as a side dish: they weren't fresh, they were small pieces, and poorly prepared—and all that for €30. Disgraceful!!!! I advise everyone to NEVER eat here. Avoid this place.

27/09/2025: Impossible to give 0 stars. Miniature portions for tourists. For Italians almost the double. Lasagne that looks like a small piece of food, taken from the baking tray corner, nothing in common with the normal square or rectangular servings. The owner in bad mood, the server with a particular sense of humour: "No, we do not serve tap water, although the water in the Roman mains is very, very good. You can drink water from fountains in the streets, not in a restaurant"!? In short, no value for lots of money. Left the place and went to another restaurant to finish the lunch.

10/10/2025: Wonderful head waitress is extremely attentive. Wonderful oxtail and supplì and artichoke bruschetta appetizer. The rest of Rome food seems tired but La Scaletta finally meets and exceeds expectations!

08/07/2025: ¡Una verdadera experiencia si estás en Roma! Mimmo te trata como a una familia. La comida es excelente. El ambiente es increíble. La decoración es perfecta. Las mesas estaban alineadas afuera y la gente seguía entrando. Fue un final increíble para nuestras vacaciones.

08/07/2025: La comida es insípida y sosa para los precios que se cobran. La pasta está demasiado salada para disimularlo y los productos cárnicos son gomosos. Sin embargo, lo que me motivó a tomarme el esfuerzo de crear una cuenta para escribir esta reseña fue la forma tan grosera en que nos apresuraron y trataron al final de la comida. Nos pidieron que enumeráramos lo que habíamos pedido y nos molestó que no diésemos una respuesta inmediata. Aunque hay varios camareros, en realidad interactuamos con cuatro personas diferentes que tomaban nuestros pedidos de comida y bebida. No parece que tengan una estructura lógica sobre cómo atienden a los clientes o dividen responsabilidades y mesas. Se convierte en un caos la tarea de conseguir que los clientes entren y salgan lo más rápido posible y hay mucha incompetencia por todos lados.

19/09/2025: We knew we should have walked away when the experience here started with a pushy host. Our next tell should have been that the waiter was disheveled. We waited maybe 20 minutes for our food, not bad. But when it arrived it might have been the worst pasta dishes my wife and I have ever had. We did not finish our meal and felt unwell as soon as we left. The atmosphere would be nice, given the location right by the central fountain. However, the Piazza is full of people selling their wares, coming into the dining area, bothering customers. This is a tourist trap, beware.

19/09/2025: The food isn't bad, but it's a bit pricey for what you get. The worst part was the waiter. He threw the menu at me, didn't offer service, and then added 5 euros to the bill for service, which was clearly terrible. The vocation was 6 euros, very expensive.

13/10/2025: We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the end of our trip. The rooms are spacious with nice linens but the bathtub/shower combination was a bit tricky to get in and out of. The breakfast included was adequate and the hotel is centrally located to many attractions. The hallways to the rooms could be upgraded to give a nicer appearance when going to your room.

07/10/2025: The shower was a bit of a disappointment because it was broken, but it didn't affect us that much. Otherwise, it was perfect, I would come back again. The buffet was delicious, the room was very nice, the staff was quite friendly, and the views from the top floor were divine.

28/06/2025: Tony è un ristorante che esiste da molti anni a Fonte Nuova, la sua cucina è fatta con amore e passione e i numerosi piatti che il menù offre, sono veramente gustosi. Sia a pranzo che a cena si possono scegliere 2 menù sia di carne che di pesce ad un costo accessibile a tutti, come anche il menù pizza. Per passare una bella serata è l'ideale. Massimo R
