17/08/2025: Two spritzes, one Campari and one Aperol, two Cokes, ice and lemon, €21. We ask for two chips, they charge us €1 more, no receipt, nothing, not even 20 grams of chips... I'm speechless. I'll never go back.
11/08/2025: This afternoon I went for an aperitif. A friend of mine and I had a spritz and they told us that if we had bought crisps and olives we would have paid €1 more, so we paid €14 for two spritzes, which were also watered down. The two spritzes were €6 each, which is fine, and adding four crisps plus five olives was another €2. Honestly, adding those four olives and those four crisps for €2 more was really ridiculous. Furthermore, the olives weren't exactly delicious, they had a strange taste, and the spritz was really watered down, it tasted like nothing. We won't be going back.

08/08/2025: It was empty when we walked in, and although it felt a bit unnerving, we decided to give it a try. We got a discount from The Fork, and they required us to order at least two dishes per person to qualify. The starters we ordered (uovo 65, pulpetta, and frittura) were good, but when it came to the main course, they came with too much salt. What we ordered was carbonara and cacio e pepe, and we couldn't finish it because it was so salty, plus the carbonara was so thick that it didn't taste like carbonara at all, but salty. The bill came to 160, but with the discount, it came down to 90, which is a good thing because we ate terribly. When I spoke to the waiter about the dish and its overly salty taste, he said it was just like that, and he didn't give me any other option, so he wouldn't change it. When we left, we heard the waiter talking badly about us, and he wasn't even embarrassed to say goodbye.
I'll edit this part later to respond to the owner: I understand Italian and I understood your entire conversation, but okay, it's my word against yours. Obviously, when you asked me if I wanted anything else, I said no because I refuse to pay for more junk food and for it to cost me even more. It's also true that the cacio e pepe is salty, but I've tried it in other places and it's nothing like it. Yet, as you explain, the carbonara is also salty. That's not only made with pecorino but also with grana padano. It's by far the worst carbonara I've ever had, and I've eaten many. To all this, the owner's excuse was that out of four of us, two had finished the dish. Obviously, if you charge us 20 euros for a carbonara, which we understand, we'll have to eat it, right? But I honestly couldn't eat more than a third of the plate. Anyway, we went in trying to eat somewhere decent Italian and ended up on the verge of a panic attack because of the saltiness of the dishes.
If your goal is to eat well at a reasonable price, I don't recommend going to this place.
02/08/2025: After a long time, I can finally visit and appreciate this place.
My expectations were not disappointed.
Inside, the atmosphere is soft. The room is simple but well-kept. There's great attention to detail. Relaxing music plays in the background, not at all annoying, at a very low volume. The volume at other tables is also low. I glance over, trying to scrutinize their dishes. I'm pleasantly satisfied by the expressions and smiles that alternate with the forkfuls. Couples exchange forks and whisper, "Taste this! - try this!"
On the walls, I can see "pictures, not paintings," as a person at a nearby table called them—empty frames with postcards in the center. Almost as if to give free rein to fantasy and imagination.
But let's move on to the food. That's why we're here.
Let's get things started with the appetizers:
a delicious
- Fried anchovies, calamari, and baby octopus.
Truly delicious and made with very little oil, so the frying itself remains light.
- Trapani-style purpiceddi (baby octopus) (drowned in a delicious sauce). Mopping up the sauce is a must, or the octopus will be offended.
Continuing with:
- Busiate (a typical pasta from the Trapani province, handmade by housewives with the "busio") with Trapani pesto and shrimp.
It's impossible not to mop up the sauce.
- Very fresh tuna tartare with lime, on a blended basil cream with cucumber and crumbled cannoli shell.
The blended basil cream was so good, I couldn't resist asking for some bread to spread it on top.
An unmissable finale
- Cannoli with ricotta made exclusively from sheep's milk (as the original recipe dictates and tradition dictates), with the addition of Strega liqueur and pistachios. The homemade wafer is sweet and crumbly.
All accompanied by
Catarratto white wine from Cantina di Agrigento.
A special thanks to the entire staff for describing each dish to us, but above all for allowing us to enjoy spectacular dishes, paying so much attention to the allergies and food intolerances we discussed beforehand.
This is a sign of seriousness and professionalism. A true restaurateur knows that allergies are not something to trifle with and knows how to satisfy their customers without disappointing them. Thank you again.
What can I say? We weren't just full, we were thrilled to have discovered and tried this new place, and we'll definitely be back.

A piece of Sardinia in Rome Tuscolana.
The Ravioli stuffed with grouper or sea bass seasoned with bottarga and courgettes are phenomenal...
The soup with Sardinian fregola and seafood is another excellent alternative.
Owners always kind and helpful.
Leave some space at the end of dinner for a sebadas :)

29/07/2025: The atmosphere is very attentive to detail, and the food is quite good. The starters are good, but in my opinion the prices are way too high for the quality/price ratio, especially compared to other nearby establishments of roughly the same standard.
17/07/2025: Raramente mi è capitato di mangiare male tutto, dall’antipasto al dolce. Antipasto di moscardini senza sapore che sembravano lessi o precotti. Primi insipido, costosissimo. Pesce al forno portato mezzo crudp e tagliata di tonno portata fredda. Recensione 1 ma avrei dato zero. Da evitare assolutamente. Peccato perché precedentemente c eravamo stati diverse volte ed avevamo sempre mangiato bene.

12/07/2025: Simple and informal atmosphere, good food and fresh fish....the only significant flaw is that, being a fishmonger's trattoria, we imagined the prices wouldn't be restaurant-like since they do takeout, so that's what we're talking about...we were a bit disappointed.
Two appetizers (tastes), two standard fried dishes, a mussel sauté, and a plate of spaghetti with clams. €95 is definitely a bit too much for a business that from the outside seems spartan. Also, what I didn't like was the lack of a menu, so the prices are surprising. A word of advice: if you decide to go, ask for the prices of the dishes.

The quality/price ratio was nonexistent.
The seafood salad didn't even taste like seafood.
Spaghetti with clams was flavorless, and the spaghetti was cooked like glue.
The risotto with cream of scapes was overcooked and tasted like Philadelphia sauce. The seafood flavor was nonexistent, not even the aroma...
In short, we left with full plates and empty stomachs.
And empty wallets, too.
P.S. The staff, in my opinion, were inappropriately dressed. But that's just my opinion. Or a suggestion.
It's a shame we had to give even one star to publish.

13/07/2025: An experience to forget. I had two vegetable pizzas with pickled peppers. I ordered them at 8 and they arrived at 10:20. Luckily, there weren't many people there! Pizzas -10, service -30, bill in relation to the service and food -50.

03/07/2025: I knew this place because the pizza was delicious and Neapolitan. Tonight, while we were sitting, we discovered that they changed management a couple of days ago. We ordered 2 margheritas because from the look of the 2 owners we felt like we were at the Addams family's house. Terrible pizzas. When we got to the cash register they even told us that we had to pay in cash. Just for the record... when customers arrive they have to be notified in advance of the POS malfunction. And if we didn't have cash they held us hostage?????? Scary
15/06/2025: Rude staff and not up to the task of running a restaurant. After having had misunderstandings between the dining room and the kitchen and not having offered us adequate service rather than finding a compromise they started yelling at us. Really bad experience.

However, the food doesn't live up to the price, and it's truly a tourist trap.
€22 for spaghetti with marinated meat, eggplant, virgin olive oil... It turned out to be the most classic spaghetti with tomato sauce and three meatballs, the same meatballs found in the lasagna...
Very disappointed with the quality of the food.
13/08/2025: We should have checked the reviews before choosing this restaurant. The food was very bad. The carbonara was overloaded with cheese and so salty it was inedible. The staff was okay, but they kept pressuring us to order more food.

12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.
12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole).
Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.

22/08/2025: After a long time, I returned to Delfino, a historic restaurant in the city center, driven, above all, by memories of my mother.
At 12:00 on Saturday, August 16th (the ZTL is not in effect, but you can enter on Saturdays!), I managed to quickly park nearby, ordered two calzones, one classic and one with tomato sauce, three supplì, and a slice of pizza with mortadella, for lunch for three, recalling unforgettable flavors.
The location is very touristy because it's on the crossroads between Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Largo Argentina. I was delighted to say goodbye to the owner, a stalwart of traditional management.
I was pleasantly surprised to still find some of the old products despite the passage of time and the usual work for tourists.
A pleasant goodbye and best of luck for the future.
