22/08/2026: Questionable policy, high prices, and subpar quality. I wouldn't return. Disappointing experience. The restaurant has an absurd policy: two people are forced to order the same entree, under the guise of a "large portion." It's a shame that a portion would be truly large if the price were normal (€20–24), but when you set it at €50, it's no longer "large": it's simply two portions sold together at a higher price (€44–60). We ordered spaghetti with clams served on a shallow plate: when you try to share it, the dish practically gets cold while you're eating it. The flavor is barely adequate, nothing memorable. The prices are way too high for the quality offered. It feels like the restaurant's policy is aimed solely at maximizing revenue, not making customers feel good. Important note: singles are not accepted; the minimum is two people. Note to the owner: you're in Sora, not Sperlonga. Adapt prices and service to the real context of your location.

16/08/2026: The first impression of the restaurant is truly wonderful. You're greeted personally and warmly. I also appreciated the accessible entrance and the fact that you can enter without stairs. There are also high chairs for families. The ordering process is simple and orders are taken quickly. The service overall was really excellent. The food itself is very good, and the portions are generous. However, the ordering system is a definite downside for me: you can't order either the first or second courses as individual portions for one person. Instead, you always have to share a portion. For example, if there are four of you, you have to choose two dishes for the first course and then share them. The same goes for the second course. This also means that not everyone can order what they want. If four people are eating together, you can't order four different first courses or four different second courses. Personally, I find this quite annoying. And what happens if you come alone? You basically have to order a large portion and pay accordingly, even if you just want a single portion. Naturally, the portions are very generous, and one portion is easily enough for two people, and in some cases even three. This explains the concept, but it doesn't change the fact that the selection of dishes is severely limited. In my opinion, there should definitely be the option to order individual portions as well. Personally, the prices also seem rather high. I've been to many restaurants in Sora and am therefore quite familiar with the area's price levels. Therefore, I can assess the prices fairly well, and compared to other restaurants in the area, I find them decidedly high. For four of us, we spent about €240, not including appetizers or dessert, so only for first courses, second courses, and drinks. The food is truly excellent, and the service is excellent. However, in my opinion, the value for money isn't entirely fair. Other restaurants in the area, in my opinion, offer at least equally good quality at a significantly lower price. Despite these criticisms, the restaurant is very beautiful and tastefully decorated and is still worth a visit, provided you're willing to accept this ordering system and have the necessary budget.

If there's one place worth discovering before reservations become impossible, it's Ostrica Pazza. It doesn't have a Michelin star on the menu, but it has everything you'd expect from a great gastronomic experience: extraordinary ingredients, meticulously crafted plating, and bold, perfectly balanced flavor combinations. Every course is a surprise, from the first to the last bite, with a mastery in showcasing the catch (and the oysters, as the name suggests!) that's truly extraordinary. The real strength? The cuisine is top-notch, but the dining room maintains a welcoming, dynamic atmosphere, free from the snobbish attitude sometimes found in glossy restaurants. The service is impeccable, attentive, and never intrusive. Excellent value for money considering the technique and research behind every dish. If you're looking for true seafood haute cuisine made with passion and creativity, Ostrica Pazza is a must-see. We will definitely be back!

09/08/2026: There are places you simply go to eat, and then there are places you live an experience. Ostrica Pazza definitely belongs to the latter category. We chose this wonderful sea-view spot in Ostia to celebrate my partner's birthday, a special day for us, and we can honestly say we couldn't have made a better choice. From the first moment, we were welcomed by Mr. Marco, the owner, who accompanied us throughout the experience with a constant, discreet, yet warm presence. He made us feel pampered, describing each dish and each individual ingredient with a passion that goes far beyond mere work. And then there's Laura. A chef with a capital C. Every course spoke to something: care, attention, passion, and above all, love for what she does. The fish was exceptionally fresh and high-quality, and every dish surprised us with every bite. You could clearly sense the passion and dedication behind every preparation. To top it all off, sommelier Pier perfectly understood our tastes and needs, guiding us with professionalism and discretion throughout this culinary journey. A huge thank you also to Tommaso, impeccable during every course, always attentive and present, in perfect harmony with Marco and the rest of the staff. And as if that weren't enough, carefully chosen background music accompanied the lunch, creating the perfect vibe that made the atmosphere even more pleasant and special. But the best part? We didn't feel like customers. We felt like guests. Guests in a home where everyone did their best to give us a moment to remember. For my partner's birthday, I was looking for something special, and without knowing it, I found so much more: a memory we will never forget. A truly heartfelt thank you to Marco, Laura, Pier, Tommaso, and the entire Ostrica Pazza staff for giving us such a wonderful day. We left there with smiles, full bellies, and above all, the desire to return. And we will be back soon. That's for sure. 27/08/2026: We tried this establishment and restaurant based on the excellent Google reviews, and I must say it even exceeded our expectations. The establishment is pleasant, with attention to detail, clean bathrooms, a lively atmosphere, and lots of colorful people :-). A special mention goes to the restaurant: a delightful atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. We ate very well: the spaghetti with clams was amazing and truly abundant, and the octopus salad was delicious, also generously portioned. An excellent experience in every way; we'll definitely be back!

24/08/2026: I was here with friends. Wonderful place. It lacks a bit of friendliness. The staff are a bit tense, perhaps because of the owner, who is really not very nice towards them. I hope it was an incident and not a routine. Hearing her swear because two spaghetti with clams weren't ready in front of the people waiting in line isn't exactly nice. Excellent food. I recommend it.

07/07/2026: Dinner with a friend. We'd been a couple of times before for aperitivo and pizza, but this time we decided to have dinner instead. The bruschetta with salmon and another version with anchovies were good, followed by an excellent Margherita pizza and a tasty and filling scampi cream risotto. Two Aperol Spritzes, a lemon sorbet, and a chocolate cake. Courteous service and a good value! Highly recommended; they even parked my car for me!

06/12/2025: The gyria and carbonara were terrible, with tough pasta that wasn't even close to al dente. It was a disgrace. The seafood salad was very good, despite the suspicious taste of the mussels. The live music was good. The waitress spoke very little English and ultimately refused to split the bill.

07/08/2026: My husband and I have been coming to this beach resort since July, and sometimes with friends. It's well-maintained and clean, everyone is friendly, and the food is also very good. We tried their hot food for lunch: scampi risotto (excellent), pinsa (fabulous), and panini (good). Overall, the food is good and the prices are fair!
