26/08/2025: When location isn't crucial... a pleasant discovery in Valmontone: a restaurant serving seafood far from the sea. Pleasant service, an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, and an open kitchen where the chef (owner) presents unconventional dishes, elegantly served in well-balanced portions. Recommended by a fellow chef 🤭

20/09/2025: We arrived at the restaurant around 7:45 PM. We waited for someone to greet us to ask if there was room without a reservation. Then a man came out, I think the manager. We both said "good evening." He looked at us strangely without saying hello... and after a few seconds of staring at us, he replied irritably, "What's up??!!"... We looked at each other in disbelief 😳... and tried to ask politely if there was a table for two sometimes. He said "no" and went inside. Fabulous, I'd say. Above all, people should always be greeted with kindness and politeness, which is probably lacking in this place. Too bad. Sometimes it wouldn't take much.

12/09/2025: We had dinner for 2 and 1 child. We ordered octopus and potatoes, fried baby octopus, pasta with clams, and fried shrimp and calamari. Generous portions and truly fresh fish. Three-quarters of a glass of still white wine and a bottle of water. The bill was €79, which was very reasonable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Well done!!

12/10/2025: Excellent seafood and impeccable service. There were 11 of us, and we were given a beautiful, elegant, and welcoming imperial table. The staff's professionalism and friendliness were immediately apparent: impeccable service, perfect timing, and always smiling and helpful waiters. We began with a selection of truly exceptional appetizers: tuna cacciatore, fried baby octopus in sauce, Mare Nostro mussel stew, various fried fish, porpoise and potatoes, seafood salad, and many other fresh appetizers, including oysters, tuna, baby octopus, calamari, and much more. Everything was excellent, carefully prepared, and plentiful! For our first courses, we chose pan-fried pappardelle with scampi, paccheri with leek and pecorino, and tagliolini with chopped fish—all delicious dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. For our second course, a 1.2 kg turbot, cooked to perfection, accompanied by five bottles of Pecorino Bianco and, to finish, a refreshing sorbet. Everything was exceptional: quality, quantity, ambiance, and service. The bill? More than fair—about €490 for 11 people—for an experience I'd simply call repeatable. Kudos to the entire staff, we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it! 👏🍷🐟

14/09/2025: This is the second time we've had lunch here. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are fair. But what we'd like to highlight is the helpfulness they offered when a friend of ours fell ill while we were having lunch. THANKS AGAIN!

11/09/2025: Tasty and fresh. The girl speaks good English, which made it easier to choose dishes and a cocktail.

07/09/2025: Disgusting. The first course was labeled "fisherman's tagliolini" but it was actually linguine with only mussels and lupini beans (not fresh!!! but already stale). Shame on you!! 16 euros stolen and a fried calamari and shrimp (17 euros) where underneath there was just salad to make it look bigger. Be more honest. At least about the quality.

08/10/2025: This is getting longer, first Italian, then German: Abbiamo lasted until October 7, 2025. The room was ok, so it came with the accommodation. Tutti sono gentili. My kitchen is a disaster! Abbiamo ordinato un'insalata with pomodori e basilico. Ci hanno portato i pomodori, ma il basilico non c'era più. A Italian kitchen senza basilico è insapore e pessima! Mia moglie has the ordinato of the tortelloni ripieni di capesante e altro. Ci hanno portato dei paccheri. This means that the water in the cotton water has only a few smudges. I love calamari and game. Completely scorched! The squid were soft. The shrimp too. The cooks don't like their own work, the products, or the customers! They were apprentices in their first year of cooking training, but I can only recommend categorically avoiding the kitchen of this place! We stayed there on October 7, 2025. The rooms are fine, as is the reception. Everyone is friendly. But the kitchen is a disaster! We ordered a salad with tomatoes and basil. They came with tomatoes, but they said the basil was gone. Italian cuisine without basil is heartless and extremely bad! My wife ordered tortelloni with a scallop and other fillings. They came with paccheri. Some of them had only seen the cooking water from a distance, they were so raw. I had squid and shrimp. Completely overcooked! The squid was solid rubber. The shrimp were the same. Anyone who cooks like that has no love for their job, their products, or their guests! Every first-year apprentice cooks better! Therefore, my only advice now is to avoid that kitchen!

06/10/2025: This review is for the restaurant only. Dinner on the balcony with a picturesque view, elegant location. Very friendly and helpful staff. A good menu could also be expanded for more choice. The downside is the timing: we waited almost an hour for the charcuterie boards and a good half hour for the first courses; the wait, especially when we were hungry, was quite unnerving. The platter was decent, but at times even inconsistent for the price. The first courses were generally acceptable, except for the tagliolini with mushrooms, which were truly bland. The fusilloni and calamarata were very good; perhaps with a little more salt, they would have been perfect. For the price, we could have done better.

16/09/2025: Excellent first courses, especially the linguine with clams and turnip tops, and the mixed fried fish was very good. Friendly and efficient service.

21/09/2025: We didn't have a reservation and arrived a little early for dinner, but we were still able to stay, and the staff was very friendly. The starter was excellent, with various bruschetta and fish. For the main course, we again had fish, pasta, and risotto, all of which were delicious.

07/09/2025: Everything was excellent, especially the first courses and the pistachio tiramisu.

02/09/2025: Delicious food and fantastic host. Had the best date there. I suggest to book a table outside. The place is in a side road. Thus, no traffic, quiet, and not too far away from a beautiful park with breathtaking view of Rome (villa sciarra).

29/09/2025: I often go to this restaurant for seafood, especially seafood. I like the friendly service and the quality of the food. On Sunday evening, I went to try the pinsa. It was delicious, very fragrant, and well-cooked. I recommend it for both lunch and dinner for a nice pinsa.

25/08/2025: A simple fishmonger's shop from the outside, but once you sit down and eat, it's a real spectacle. Fish, first courses, second courses, appetizers, fried dishes—something incredible. I personally had cooked salmon with side dishes, two mixed fried fish dishes, one calamari dish, and for the first course, the seafood lasagna. What can I say, ladies and gentlemen? Delicious, to say the least. The atmosphere is very basic, but if you want to return to tradition and origins, it's the perfect place. I highly recommend going.

22/09/2025: I was there for lunch a few days ago, a very nice place, unfortunately I didn't like a couple of things, for example the mussels were terrible. They said they were like that because it's not the season and so they didn't offer them because they were obscene and bad... we had an appetizer for two, some things like the salmon, the grouper weren't fresh, while the turbot with potatoes was very good as was the grilled squid... the fried fish balls were also very good!!! Very kind staff

22/09/2025: We ordered two pizzas that were completely burnt and limp, like two rubber sheets. They told us that's how they make them. So I ordered a buffalo mozzarella, maybe 90g for €10; the ones at Eurospin are probably better. Terrible experience, we won't go again. I'm a vegetarian, so I don't mop up any of the pizza.

28/06/2025: One of the best restaurants here in Latina... low prices, food including: Risotto, fish, main courses, even off-menu requests are all excellent... Practically impeccable service and waitress always super attentive and professional. We come here every now and then with my family and as usual we always feel like we are at home. 5 stars well deserved! 🌟❤️💪

05/10/2025: More of a trattoria than a restaurant, for the rustic atmosphere that characterizes it, but a fantastic cuisine. With an internal brazier from which delicious fish and vegetables come out. Generous portions and well-kept. Adequate price. Recommended.

21/09/2025: Portions are adequate, and the quality-to-price ratio could be considered average, but the condition of the venue brings it down. Service is just about sufficient. Some tables are placed almost directly on the street, with cars passing very close by — a detail that turns out to be quite bothersome. Not recommended for those with high expectations.

29/07/2025: Wir waren 2x in diesem Restaurant essen. Ein älteres süsses Paar führt es. Beide sind sehr liebe Menschen und sehr gastfreundlich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und der Geschmack war sehr köstlich. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen hier essen zu gehen.
