01/11/2025: For me, it's excellent and always a guarantee! From the menu, I particularly recommend the fried anchovies, the marinated ones, and the first course of the day with lobster, which is also generous in portions! A good wine cellar with a variety of labels and prices for every budget. I've had to book last minute or cancel due to serious issues, and the owners have always been incredibly kind. ❤️

07/12/2025: Found this place walking along the beach. Me and my wife really wanted to try them. They had few people sitting outside. Look like they are slow . I don’t know if the waiter being racist or he’s just lazy but he turned down my service. Not even a hello. All I get from him was a cold shoulder. We left and went to the one down the road from them. Had great service and food was very tasty.

04/12/2025: I go there often and I love it. It's a family-friendly atmosphere overlooking the sea, where the food is incredibly fresh and simply cooked. The staff is friendly and always attentive to your needs.

13/11/2025: I unexpectedly received bonus money on the website (the one shown in the photo attached to the review) and decided to treat myself a little. I stopped by this restaurant — and the evening instantly got better. The pasta was delicious, the sauce rich, and the portion generous.

31/10/2025: We went to this restaurant last night, booking through The Fork. Everything was magnificent, from the welcome, to the menu, to the very homey atmosphere, and finally to the delicious dishes we tried. Everything was very, very good, and I think I'll be back, as it's also very close to home. I absolutely recommend the salmon carpaccio and both pasta dishes.

08/12/2025: Nice restaurant located more or less in the historic center of Frosinone. The food is good and the dishes are beautifully presented. I recommend trying the chestnut ravioli with pumpkin cream and the omelette with caramelized onion, asparagus, and a cascade of truffles. And, for dessert, the pomegranate cheesecake. 😋 The staff is kind and helpful, especially Linda. 😊 Parking is the real problem, but that's exactly what upper Frosinone is. 😪 Today, since it's a holiday and the offices around the hotel-restaurant are closed, my family and I found a parking spot more easily than the first time, in the evening, on a weekday. Or maybe because we booked for lunch and not dinner. 🤔 Unfortunately, I've never had reason to try it as a hotel, since I live in this city, but the photos look promising. 🫠 Recommended. 😊👍

02/12/2025: In the highest part of the city, parking is extremely difficult. At certain times, it's almost impossible. Rooms are decorated in… vintage style. Overall, clean, but the limescale in the shower was truly excessive. The shower is huge and extremely comfortable, by the way. The water from the system (both cold and hot) is pumped in bursts: at times it's very strong, at times it seems to stop. This makes mixing difficult, and the showerhead feels scalding hot and cold. From my room, I had a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Prices are affordable. The sweet breakfast was varied and pleasant. The cakes were excellent. There was practically no savory breakfast. Avoid the restaurant: I spent 50 euros for an appetizer of eggplant meatballs that didn't taste like eggplant, fried cod with olives (fried), capers (fried) in a sauce (fried) that I digested the following week, a glass of wine, water, and a 3-cm-diameter chocolate cake. Crazy price and barely adequate quality. There are much better dining options nearby. I'll return to the hotel, carefully avoiding the restaurant.

16/09/2025: My name is Rudy. I was in Rome for work and happened to dine at Acquamarina three times in a row. The food is exceptional, and the welcome is just as good. If I may recommend the seafood risotto, it's divine, as is the rest of the menu.

21/10/2025: After a long time, we returned to this restaurant and rediscovered how to eat fish with a modest €45 menu. We were very pleased with the value for money, and we'll definitely be back. The service was excellent and the owner was very kind.

04/11/2025: Beautiful location and good seafood cuisine, but I have two things to say: - on Saturdays and Sundays, there's a charge for indoor parking (€5); - when ordering, the waiter asked us, rather unkindly, not to order six different first courses, but at least two of each. This is quite an unusual custom... Usually, this clause would be listed on the menu for special dishes.

08/12/2025: On the plus side: • Very beautiful location, with stone arches, well-spaced tables, objects reminiscent of the past, and well-organized display cases. • Outside, just before entering, there's a display case with souvenir photos of famous people who have spent time at the Osteria. • ​​Excellent wine list. • The chef knows his job well, in fact, the food is truly excellent. On the minus side: • Sorry to say, but the wait staff is "too" intrusive. They're always at the table for whatever reason; even while you're eating, you find them right in front of you, and it feels like they're looking into your mouth (or rather, it's better to remove the "seem" from the name). • The price is a bit too high for an Osteria. I understand the modernity, but in an Osteria, I expect higher prices, more affordable for everyone. • Not much choice on the menu. And when asked if carbonara was available (remember, we're in the heart of Lazio), the response was: "I already told you that's what you can order!" •• In summary: a nice place, plenty of seating, excellent cleanliness and atmosphere, excellent food and preparation by the chef, but the wait staff who are always checking on you even when you're wiping your face, and the high price of the bill make me lower the stars. It's a shame because with a few small adjustments, it could have been accessible to everyone (so if you're thinking of going to an osteria to eat a lot for little, this isn't the place for you; think carefully about your budget first).

07/12/2025: We, a couple, booked a table very early and were the first guests to arrive. The service was flawless and the dinner was perfect. The side fish came a little late but it didn't affect the overall experience. The beef cheek is probably the best I have ever had! It simply melts in your mouth.

26/09/2025: We tried the restaurant, staying at the hotel, with the à la carte menu. The view is the most beautiful on Ponza, a marvelous terrace overlooking Chiaia di Luna beach. The menu is different for lunch and dinner, both satisfying. The prices are obviously high, but for the location and the quality, they're justified. The service is perfect, very professional. For dinner, we tried the fried calamari and grilled calamari on a potato cake, both excellent. The salad was also a surprise. The dessert was a bit disappointing. For lunch, the spaghetti with clams and bottarga was excellent. And so was the seafood salad. A feast for the eyes and the palate.

20/09/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm not interested in denigrating anyone, but rather in encouraging improvement. I'm giving it two stars because you expect more from a four-star hotel restaurant. The location isn't enough—it's very beautiful, and the ambiance is also very good—but the rest is needed. The service could be improved, especially regarding the cutlery arrangement and maintaining the same non-standard servings for two people. Then there's the food. A dish that "ran out" at 8:30 PM should be removed from the menu, and you shouldn't wait to be asked to tell us so. We ordered two first courses, which, based on their names, raised certain expectations, but the flavors were very distant and basic (the base was tomato, and that was basically all we could taste). Then there was the fried fish, which left us unsure about the freshness of the fish, but that's an unprovable feeling. Then there was the side salad (mixed salad with citrus and dried fruit) that tasted like coarsely chopped, bagged salad from the supermarket. With water and a half bottle of white wine, we paid over €100 for two. Now, if you want to stay in that price range you have to raise the quality bar!

25/10/2025: I'm sorry I returned this summer after three years. They're always kind and accept dogs, although it's best to leave them indoors if possible. Indoors, given the outdoor layout of all the restaurants in the port, with tables too close together. My rating is based on the dishes served. I think they've changed the chef and the recipes. The pappagico appetizer was much larger in portion size and also included a few more dishes. The fish was definitely fresh, but tasteless. It was flat. Nothing stood out to differentiate the flavor. The biggest disappointment was the pappafico risotto, the dish that made me fall in love with this restaurant. What I was served was completely different: a seafood risotto, poorly made, with a sauce that the original didn't have, and soaked in oil, like you wouldn't find in a diner. Truly awful. I don't dispute the freshness of the fish, which I couldn't appreciate so much as the flavor was masked by this disgusting and sickening sauce. So heavy that it couldn't be digested all night. It's a shame the risotto al pappafico was in something else and will make me cross this restaurant off when I'm in Circeo. It's not a question of price—I don't review what's available—but of taste. It's a real shame I don't know I can taste real risotto pappafico anymore.
