WE ATE THE EXCEPTIONAL SHELLFISH SOUP, TO SAY AN UNDERSTANDING. VERY GOOD. TOP. We bought it for takeout and we lacked nothing, from the bib to the hand wipes.

There are places that enter your heart and never leave. Sora Maria in Civitavecchia is one of them. A true trattoria, where simplicity is a value in itself. My family and I treated ourselves to a lunch unlike any other: Seafood appetizers – fresh, generous, the perfect welcome Spaghetti with clams – real clams, light sauce, pasta cooked to perfection. The kind you look for every summer Tonnarello allo scoglio – mussels, clams, shrimp, all together and all fresh. A dish you never want to end Fried calamari – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, light as fried seafood should always be Fresh fish. Simple, genuine service, the kind that makes you feel at home. If you love seafood on your plate, Sora Maria is the place you've been looking for.

The restaurant location is quiet however, the ambience is not that relaxing since its surrounded with different establishments as well. Although we've waited the food a little bit longer but it was worth the wait. Foods was superb from appetizer to dessert.

Very pleasant and welcoming location. Professional and friendly staff. I really appreciated the hostess explaining what I could eat based on my dietary needs. The fettuccine with sea bass was very good, and the fillet of sea bream in a potato crust was delicious. My family also really enjoyed the fish soup. I was also able to have dessert, thanks in part to the waiter's expertise in explaining the ingredients. Always a pleasure to return.

The less exciting aspect of this excellent restaurant can be summed up in the saying "you pay for quality": any dish you order, from appetizer to dessert, leaves you feeling thoroughly satisfied and wanting more; the service, even on sold-out days, is organized and top-notch. Of course, it's hard to say your wallet will smile when you get the bill, and it's telling that the wine list, while satisfactory in its selection, lacks more affordable bottles than those on offer (nothing under €30). As a longtime customer, I've noticed this trend has increased over the years. In conclusion, if you want to eat truly well, go here without hesitation, but be prepared to loosen your wallet...

This place has become a regular for us, having been frequenting it for years. The ambiance is top-notch, overlooking the port of Civitavecchia and offering a stunning view! The sea offers a unique touch. The service, managed by the owners, is friendly and very welcoming, as always. This makes everything so much more enjoyable. The dishes are well-prepared, including gluten-free options like pasta, bread, and the gluten-free fried fish! 🤤
