11/12/2024: It is a place which, as the name of the place itself says, takes you from Rome to Naples. I ate some delicious zeppole and a pizza, "A 'Fetamma' was a sort of 4 cheese with some amazing cheeses and for the first time I also ate the classic "cornicione" of Neapolitan pizza. It was soft. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. I've ever eaten. The environment is soft and the staff immediately puts you at ease.

09/12/2024: I am writing this review reluctantly after years of regular attendance. The food and the quality of the food is excellent, the pizza is very good but unfortunately the location and service are not up to par. The staff has no idea how to provide good service, They really don't know what to do! And mistakes are forgiven up to a certain point, luckily the area is full of good pizzerias.

02/01/2025: I expected good service but they outdid themselves! All the fish from the starter to the second course of the New Year's Day lunch was delicious, plentiful and fresh. The environment is not very large but well organised. The staff very kind. The fixed menu did not disappoint me: many raw and cooked appetizers, two excellent half-first courses, two well-seasoned and served second courses, sorbet, dip, mix of fresh fruit, panettone, water, wine, coffee and digestive. I and the other 10 diners at my table were satisfied.

17/11/2024: Leggo le recensioni a questo ristorante, che frequento da più di vent’anni, e mi rendo conto che Tripadvisor spesso in alcune zone è alla mercé di scrittori non del tutto “disinteressati” Il posto è storico, in una splendida piazzetta di Gaeta medievale. Il posto è senza fronzoli, e non promette di averli. Il menù è immutabile come il tempo, e mi auguri che continui ad esserlo Il posto è insomma un rifugio per chi desidera essere coccolato da una cucina come oramai è difficile ritrovare, dalle migliori alici marinate che abbia mai assaggiato, alla unica vera “votapiatto” (inimitabile), al pesce sempre freschissimo, alla maestosa gran zuppa di mare Chi è in cerca di poeti glitterati o alla moda, vada altrove Chi apprezza la vera cucina, sia benvenuto

11/10/2024: Such a shame to disappoint customers for the sake of €13. Sent a dish back as it was not what we expected. Staff seemed quite nice and friendly about this, but then still included the item on the bill. Tataky salmon and zucchini souffle were divine! The waitress was lovely. The bill was insanely high for how little we had. Wouldn't go back again unfortunately.

04/11/2024: La qualità del pesce è’ sublime e la cura nella preparazione dei piatti e’ veramente di gran livello. Siamo già tornati dopo una prima esperienza e ci ritorneremo con grande piacere. Consiglio il merluzzo croccante con cipollina caramellata squisito!!!!!!

14/08/2024: Allora…. Sono stato in questo ristorante a luglio come ospite e sono rimasto deluso . Da ragazzino ci venivo con mio padre e le sinapsi erano belle. Oggi sono tornato dopo un mese con i miei figli e abbiamo mangiato divinamente . Qualità pesce e carne eccellenti , servizio impeccabile prezzi giusti per l’offerta . Eccellente

13/08/2024: Ormai è una vita che frequento questo ristorante ed ogni volta ne esco entusiasta. Cucinano il pesce in modo eccelso e il suo antipasto è infinito.

28/12/2024: Siamo stati da Cesarino La Perla ieri al Pranzo di Natale del 25 dicembre 2024. Esperienza deludente. Nonostante fossimo arrivati alle 13,00 ci hanno portato i primi oltre le ore 15,20 per allinare il servizio ai tavoli di chi era arrivato alle ore 14,00. Si è finito di mangiare alle 17,00. Primi piatti insignificanti, pasta con sugo slegato o ed insapore. Carne in porzioni minuscole, ed infine dolce senza zucchero con frutti agri immangiabili. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere il conto 5 volte. Assolutamente sconsigliato.
