06/12/2025: The gyria and carbonara were terrible, with tough pasta that wasn't even close to al dente. It was a disgrace. The seafood salad was very good, despite the suspicious taste of the mussels. The live music was good. The waitress spoke very little English and ultimately refused to split the bill.

13/06/2026: I celebrated my son's First Communion here on May 30th. We also relied on them for the cake. The staff was incredibly kind and the food was delicious; even our guests were delighted with the quality of the food. A well-deserved 5 stars!

You lied to unite two communions that knew each other. What bitters? I paid for every single extra ice cream you brought. 25/10/2025: I'm sorry I returned this summer after three years. They're always kind and accept dogs, although it's best to leave them indoors if possible. Indoors, given the outdoor layout of all the restaurants in the port, with tables too close together. My rating is based on the dishes served. I think they've changed the chef and the recipes. The pappagico appetizer was much larger in portion size and also included a few more dishes. The fish was definitely fresh, but tasteless. It was flat. Nothing stood out to differentiate the flavor. The biggest disappointment was the pappafico risotto, the dish that made me fall in love with this restaurant. What I was served was completely different: a seafood risotto, poorly made, with a sauce that the original didn't have, and soaked in oil, like you wouldn't find in a diner. Truly awful. I don't dispute the freshness of the fish, which I couldn't appreciate so much as the flavor was masked by this disgusting and sickening sauce. So heavy that it couldn't be digested all night. It's a shame the risotto al pappafico was in something else and will make me cross this restaurant off when I'm in Circeo. It's not a question of price—I don't review what's available—but of taste. It's a real shame I don't know I can taste real risotto pappafico anymore.

14/06/2026: A truly charming osteria right in the center, with a row of tables overlooking the canal that runs alongside, especially in the summer months. This historic restaurant with antique furnishings is very popular (reservations are recommended). The house wine is good, the organic schioppettino and Ribolla brut are excellent. The dishes are generous and traditional, made with local, artisanal seasonal ingredients. The food is decent, with a typical osteria menu featuring Friulian dishes, often pre-cooked and then reheated. The terrace overlooking the canal is cool and inviting, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The place is very popular, and the staff, while very friendly, are brisk and a bit tired (surely due to the workload). Highly recommended, especially for the quality/price ratio.

18/05/2026: I stayed there in May 2026. A beautiful, large hotel with spacious rooms, a gym, and a rooftop pool. It's located about 1km from the city center where the bars are. The hotel has a good restaurant and a good breakfast.

23/06/2026: It must have been an unfortunate evening... But accepting reservations without informing the guest of two events seems frankly unprofessional to me... Biblical times between appetizer and pizza (at least 40 minutes) and friendly but utterly inattentive service, with pizzas being served with the table still half cleared, requiring customers to ask for cutlery, etc. An unpleasant evening, which had nothing to do with the staff's commitment, but everything to do with the organization, which was at best questionable.

18/07/2026: La Taverna della Rocca in Tivoli is a charming, welcoming place with meticulous attention to detail. I had a seafood dinner and I must say it was all excellent: incredibly fresh seafood appetizers, flavorful mussel sauté, delicate salmon, and a simply perfect scampi cream risotto, creamy and fragrant. The homemade desserts are truly excellent. Kudos to Severino, the owner, who personally oversees the entire kitchen: you can taste the passion in every dish; and another shout-out to his wife, Annamaria, who is always courteous, kind, and smiling. A highly recommended experience!

07/04/2026: Went with family and relatives on Easter Sunday on the recommendation of a "horse-loving" friend (he'd been telling me to go for years). We booked a few days in advance and were told the menu was à la carte and not a fixed price. What can I say...the menu offers a wide selection of both meat and seafood. We didn't order first courses, but rather a generous appetizer that included samples of eggplant parmigiana, polpa and various appetizers, grilled steaks, sliced ​​steaks, beef fillets, grilled lamb, roast potatoes, Roman-style artichokes, Jewish-style artichokes, and puntarelle. Everything was EXCELLENT. Impeccable service; all the dishes arrived at the same time without anyone having to wait. And, not to be underestimated, the place was spotless. The price was reasonable, especially considering it was a holiday. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.
