16/05/2026: The atmosphere is exceptional: the service, food, and ambiance are always excellent. Service is prompt. The appetizer is scallops and scallops, fresh and flavorful fish. The first course is seafood risotto, with scallops, scallops, burrata, and chopped pistachios. The second course is lime sgroppino, with tasty lime slices. The second course is salt-baked sea bass, served with asparagus and pancetta rolls and baked potatoes.

30/04/2026: A lovely find just outside the center of Trieste. A good selection of seafood dishes; let the knowledgeable staff advise you. The house wine is also excellent. Highly recommended.

04/04/2026: I've been wanting to go to this place for lunch for a long time. I can say with certainty that the quality of the food is excellent. There's a wide selection of first and second courses. The menu focuses primarily on fish, shellfish, and mollusks. The pasta with spider crab and the pasta with clams are superb. The fried foods are beyond excellent. The price is reasonable for the quality. We left satisfied. The atmosphere and cleanliness are excellent. We'll definitely be back. Reservations are required, even during the week. Nevio Trieste

01/06/2026: A dive into the '90s. But then again, we're so fed up with trendy phenomena, pseudo-trendy formats that don't even know how to make pasta, empty chains full of marketing but empty of food, that finally a "normal" restaurant still exists. Very good staff, well-kept place. Nothing is missing. Well-made meat. Special mention for CLEANLINESS (another sore point of fake "contemporary scam" restaurants).

21/12/2025: Old-fashioned flavors, a nice atmosphere, and moderate prices. They have a good red-pezzata fillet, fried lasagna (special)... But what really struck me was the Gorizia rose...after finishing everything, after dessert, I ate another plate!

06/05/2026: It was my first time eating at this restaurant. What can I say? The view was wonderful and the location was impeccable. I can't give the food 5 stars because it was a complete disappointment. The appetizer was wonderful (octopus, tomato, and basil salad), the first course was so-so; the sauce was good but too sweet (gnocchi with calamari), and I honestly didn't like the dessert; I found the pastry too dry, but the chocolate was good. My partner had a grilled scallops appetizer, which was delicious, but she didn't like the first course (pasta with scampi) because the fish was tasteless and the sauce (probably) had breadcrumbs added. Would I go back? Probably, but I would improve the service. Between the appetizer and the first course, we waited over 45 minutes (with the owner's apologies, but still too long). At least offer coffee, or just pretend...

05/05/2026: Excellent food and a terrace with a stunning view! The homemade desserts are a must-try. Prices are in line with what's on offer. The staff is a little shy but friendly. I highly recommend it!

11/05/2026: Very large restaurant, very well-kept environment, professional staff. We had mixed grill. Mixed fried food was not exciting, although knowing that it was frozen, it was indicated on the menu. I ate some of the best grilled asparagus, two desserts, a quarter of wine and mineral water, about 70 euros, slightly expensive in my opinion.

04/05/2026: I went to the restaurant with my partner and I have to say it was a real discovery! It's a bit out of the city center, on the road, but it was a fantastic experience, so good that we returned shortly after and will return soon. As for the meat, they have refrigerators dedicated, I imagine, to aging, where various cuts are displayed. The grill is open to view, and despite the quality and the location, the prices are moderate. As for the fish, it's fabulous. The staff is friendly and helpful, including a blonde lady who served us and pampered us throughout the evening, as is the owner, who passes by the tables ensuring every customer's satisfaction. What can I say? Historic restaurants like this are not to be missed.

31/05/2026: The portion of calamari fritti was rather small, especially since it didn't come with any side dish. It was quite good though, just a bit pricey.

27/05/2026: One of the best seafood trattorias in Trieste. The breaded sardoni are noteworthy: crispy and not greasy. A simple but very welcoming place. Congratulations!

04/05/2026: Amazing! The food was really good! Nice, cozy place, Piero and the other waiters are also very friendly. Cesare, Super Mario, and Samanta provide a warm welcome. Gregorio and Marco make super tasty pizzas together 🍕 Delicious homemade desserts 😋 Last but not least, not to forget Meloncello/Limoncello 🍋 This is clearly a place to go back to! 💯

26/04/2026: Excellent food, perhaps a little more expensive than other places but worth it both in terms of quality and service and ambience. My vegetarian poke '14 euros delicious, mixed fried fish satisfied my loved ones at the cost of 19 euros. Shall we come back? Of course we will 😍

The ingredients are undeniably top-quality, and they serve an excellent sparkling wine by the glass. I've been back several times, and the positive reviews are shared by other diners. 15/04/2026: Mediocre, it doesn't respect the ingredients on the menu. The risotto was missing scallops and the prawns only had scallops that weren't mentioned. However, having been born a sea fisherman, I reply that the scallops weren't there at all.
