10/06/2026: It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't be fooled by the beautiful dining room and outdoor garden. The food is excellent and the value is excellent. The waiter is very friendly and attentive. If you want to eat good seafood, I absolutely recommend it.

25/07/2026: We live abroad, but every year we come to Palmanova to visit our family. And every time, this restaurant is our first choice. We return several times on every trip because everything is always delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is very kind, and every visit is a pleasure. It's one of our favorite places and we can't wait to return every time!

11/08/2026: Starting from the fact that it's a first-rate tourist trap, the owner is extremely rude. He rudely responds, "WHAT THE HECK IS THERE?" even when I called him, and he treats the employees badly, in my opinion. I ordered an embarrassing mixed fry. Cash: 5 calamari, 2 octopus, 4 anchovies, and chips (I'm attaching a photo to show you how poor this fry was...) all for the modest sum of €22. DO NOT COME HERE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

06/08/2026: A lovely place, certainly very popular. My experience here wasn't complete because we only had the starters, so I'll limit myself to that. The seafood risotto, although well-cooked, was a bit watered-down, but I must say it was very rich in seafood. The spaghetti with clams was plentiful and satisfying, but it lacked the right seafood flavor that sets it apart, with the oily, clam-like flavor that was unfortunately missing from this dish. It's a shame, because it looked promising. The price was average, just a tad on the expensive side.

14/08/2026: The pizza here is excellent, without a doubt. We visited three times and tried quite a few different pizzas, and the quality of the dough was consistently outstanding — fresh, perfectly prepared, and always the same high standard. I would definitely recommend the Quattro Formaggi, the pizza with the local cheese, and the Margherita. However, I would not recommend the pork pizza that the waiter suggested to us. The flavor was too overpowering, and the combination of toppings, including the pickles, didn’t work well together. A few things were disappointing, though. One day we came with our child and were charged a coperto for him, which I really don’t understand, especially since nothing was even set up for him. On another visit, we ordered French fries for him, but they forgot to bring them. Service was also noticeably slower compared with last year, when everything worked like clockwork. Overall, great pizza and excellent dough, but the service and a few details could definitely be improved.

14/08/2026: Came at lunch when not too busy and was a very good experience. Waiter told us we were ordering too much and ultimately he was right as we were full even after paring it back. Food and service were both excellent, the pizza dough was exquisite and even the bread was better than most.

03/08/2026: We arrived for dinner to eat fish, after booking by phone, but discovered on site that they only serve fish by reservation, but they hadn't updated the information online. So we decided to go for the pizzas. We waited a good 20 minutes for our drinks, and even a partial one. After an hour and twenty minutes, the pizzas finally arrived, nothing exceptional and with very runny tomato sauce. The room was extremely hot, even though there was air conditioning, which hadn't been turned on. I'm sorry, but it was truly a terrible experience.

13/08/2026: A must-see ever since I was a little girl coming back from the beach. Super Sardinians 🤩 You can't reserve. You arrive and are put on a list. They give you a disc that will ring when it's your turn to eat! The service is very fast.

08/08/2026: Unfortunately we received overcooked and dry spaghetti with seafood, the fried food was poor and expensive, the wine, although sparkling, was not dry but acidic and the whole thing was paid at a too high price.

10/06/2026: Was surprisingly Easy to get a table outside on the terrace with such excellent quality food! The best bread basket I’ve had in Italy with some beautifully cooked & presented seafood and fish dishes. The puddings we had (strawberry eggnog & crema Catalan) were also delicious and the house Chardonnay amazingly good value & very good indeed ! The whole dinner was very reasonably priced - Highly recommend this place - it isn’t in the most charming street but the outdoor green terrace is lovely and our waiter friendly and efficient!

06/06/2026: I was there with my wife and a couple of friends. After ordering our food, they wanted to order wine, but after we hesitated for a few seconds whether to order a bottle or glasses, the waiter left! After a while, he returned, asking in an annoyed tone: "Did you choose the wine?" I told him they didn't have a wine list. He, in a pedantic tone, said: "It's at the end of the menu." The menu he had taken away. It's a shame that a little more kindness would have made the customers happier and the restaurant would have made more money. We dined without wine.

07/06/2026: I have known the owner for years and when I am in Lignano I stop in this place which over the years has been revisited to make it more welcoming and managed with passion. What can I say, I feel at home. A big thank you Fabio

05/08/2026: I took my hotel's advice and came here with the idea of ​​having a pizza. When I arrived, the restaurant was completely full. So I walked for about 15 minutes. When I returned, there was still a wait, and other people were waiting in line. At one point, someone, unfortunately impolite, took my seat without asking the staff. I mentioned it to the staff, who were very kind and resolved the situation quickly. I ordered a pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe. Unfortunately, the sausage was a bit too fatty and a bit dry. The pizza dough, however, was truly excellent and cooked perfectly. To make up for the wait, the staff offered me a limoncello. It was the best limoncello I drank during my trip. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness. It was a very pleasant experience and definitely recommended.

04/08/2026: After reading good reviews, we walked past here. At that moment, there was no space, but we could come back in half an hour. After a quick walk around the neighborhood, we returned, but the table wasn't ready; they said “5 minutes” and then we could sit down. After that, we got the feeling they would rather be rid of us than have us around, and for the first 10 minutes, they completely ignored us. During the meal, we saw one of the staff members saying “10 minutes” or “20 minutes” to everyone, and every table was filled up again and again. The hostess outside managed everything by herself (which was not feasible in our opinion), and the other man kept filling the tables. The food was mediocre; the pizza was not fully cooked, and the egg in the pasta carbonara was overcooked, so it was more like pasta with scrambled eggs. All in all, a mediocre experience, and it is not really understandable why this restaurant is rated so highly.
