08/02/2026: Breakfast was very poor. I expected tomatoes, cucumbers, and greens. There was no fruit except for apples. Only two types of cheese are insufficient for a 4-star hotel. The bread was all the same, dry and hard. The bakery section should have had a wider variety. They bring the coffee themselves, and you have to wait a while in the middle of breakfast. The rooms, however, were clean and tidy.

05/02/2026: Historic hotel in the historic center of Lugo in a logistically perfect location. Large, bright rooms, the white color triumphs. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a modern and usable shower. Well heated. On the other hand, the rooms are a bit cold. The temperature is not manageable by the user. At night, the corridor light is always on and filters from under the door. Sensors and LEDs illuminate the room too much. The kettle and coffee machine in the room lose the fifth star for some small things that could be improved. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. I would go back.

01/02/2026: Lunch for an 80th birthday... even though the restaurant was full, the kitchen was very quick in bringing out the dishes. The staff was very kind and polite. We were served, among other things, by a nice and friendly young man who really brightened the atmosphere. It's not the first time we've been to Pinotti's, and it certainly won't be the last! Warm regards to all the staff from the Ferrari family.

20/01/2026: Dinner with friends with a surprise at the end. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are quite friendly, and there's no background noise, so we chatted pleasantly. Obviously, I didn't try the entire menu, which strictly lists what's fresh and what's frozen, etc. I can only say that the steamed appetizer was meager and tasteless (best avoided), but the biggest surprise was the final bill, where we discovered that each Soaso (fresh) had been charged 40 euros each. Considering that after removing the scraps, there's not much left to eat, it seemed like an excessive price. I don't know if I'll go back again; the rest is certainly good and reasonably priced, like my first course (pumpkin gnocchi with calamari), but I've honestly never paid that price for each Soaso at any other restaurant, even if it's fresh. Be careful, because it's certainly good, but I think the eel is also quite expensive.

20/03/2026: I had dinner with a very dear friend who knows the chef. He said, "Let's go eat at Lowe's, I know the chef and he's amazing." Looking at the menu, I wanted to order everything! But obviously we had to "settle" for the shrimp hot dog, the monkfish sandwich, the creamed cod crostini, and the cocoa flatbread filled with ricotta mousse, saba, and candied orange. Well done. The quality of the food is good, with no complaints. However, this is precisely where the main criticism emerges: the prices. Many of the dishes ordered reach prices that are difficult to justify, even considering the overall level of the experience. The cover charge, at €4 per person, is a rather perplexing detail, especially when compared to the much lower standards found in even higher-end establishments. In an area like Rimini, where the gastronomic offerings are extensive and competitive, it's surprising to find such a poor quality-price ratio. There are, in fact, numerous alternatives in the area that offer similar quality at significantly lower prices. balanced.
