Refined dishes and excellent ingredients, the desserts are amazing...highly recommended. I returned today and I confirm the excellent review. The best seafood restaurant in the Piacenza area.

21/07/2025: Al Ristorante L'incontro si viene accolti sempre con cordialità e calore; i proprietari sono affabili e competenti, ti accompagnano nella scelta del menu' e nell'abbinamento dei vini senza essere mai invadenti. Quando i piatti arrivano a tavola ci si delizia prima di tutto guardandoli e le aspettative che si creano sono ampiamente soddisfatte ad ogni boccone. Persino i piatti unici sono un trionfo di colori, profumi e sapori! Lo frequento da anni e appena sono in zona mi fermo a mangiare e ne approfitto per scambiare due chiacchiere piacevoli con il Sig.Gianfranco e la Sig.ra Luciana e prima di andarmene non manca mai un saluto al grande Chef Carlo Gozzi. La passione è l'ingrediente principe di questo ristorante! 23/09/2025: Michelin-starred restaurant, please. But at very affordable prices, unlike many of this type. Sophisticated and refined cuisine. Impeccable service. The terrace is tiny, so make a reservation! Again, one of the few restaurants in tourist towns in this region that serves real cuisine.

19/09/2025: In terms of food quality, it's a guarantee! This time, however, I have to say that the waitress wasn't the friendliest. Overall, the service was very good, except for a few responses that, in my opinion, were inappropriate.

27/09/2025: We've been following the owners since they left San Giovanni in Marignano to begin this new adventure. Excellent dishes, a great selection, and excellent wines. The location is enchanting, both inside and out. The welcome is always special, and we gladly return whenever we can.

26/08/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times and the food has always been divine. I recommend the eel in all its forms, the mixed fried fish, the mussels, and the grilled fish. But everything is truly delicious. Excellent service. Excellent value.

11/08/2025: It was my first time there; the fish was very good and fresh, you could taste it. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was equally good. It's definitely not cheap, but of course, when you eat fish, you can't afford to spend cheaply.

12/10/2025: Delicious food, really inviting burgers, a really inviting menu. I really didn't know which one to choose. I'll have to come back. The beer selection was wide, and all were truly unique! The atmosphere was truly welcoming, and the waiters were very kind! The service was prompt, and everything was really good, even my fellow diners were all very satisfied. At the end, they brought (without asking) homemade sorbet and cookies. A very appreciated gesture.

05/10/2025: Il Veliero Restaurant is located near the Bologna train station in a side street and the view from the outside does not give away the treasure hidden inside. I found the restaurant when I was staying nearby and ended up returning every evening during my stay. The numerous table reservations and people waiting for a free table inside and outside speak for how good it is. The service is very kind and attentive and the food is simply amazing! I tried pizza and pasta and everything was perfect. On the last evening I also had tiramisu for dessert and it was out of this world. If you are in Bologna I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

05/10/2025: Cold fish appetizer, fish by the bucketload. Custard-filled tagliolini with seafood, I should have taken a photo of it. Risotto was greasy and flavorless... a giant one.

01/09/2025: Welcoming and modern restaurant. Impeccable and friendly service. Excellent quality from appetizers to desserts. Pleasant background music. A special place, with waiters who take care of you from start to finish...a real treat! They also pay close attention to food intolerances. I highly recommend trying it!!
