03/11/2024: My wife and I tried Ristorante D'Aiello on our first day and Italy. The food, service, and views were excellent. This is a great place to eat, especially if you enjoy people watching as many tables overlook the main street. We went during non-peak tourism times, which I would highly recommend if you plan on enjoying Italy without being shoulder to shoulder on the streets and wish to see and enjoy everything on your list. Special shoutout to our waitress, Elenora, who was extremely polite and whose service really contributed to the great experience we had.

13/08/2024: Amazing, amazing, and AMAZING! The food was the absolute best! We ordered so much to try and taste everything! Most of the staff was friendly and helpful! The location is also great with beautiful views, especially at sunset! I highly recommend this on your trip to the amalfi coast!

12/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante sabato 10 agosto. Il Sig. Antonio, 77enne proprietario ed animatore del locale, ci ha accolto come fossimo gli amici di sempre. Vi siamo intrattenuti cantando con lui e mangiando in maniera fantastica. Consigliatissimo.

03/12/2024: GAVE ME FOOD FLASHBACKS. I am a picky eater and was hesitantly convinced into ordering the traditional 5 course meal though I am not a salad, soup, or desert person. When I tell you this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in life?! For every single dish and course my partner and I ate every crumb and left empty dishes. The food was amazing and even with being very clearly young tourists the service was so nice and accommodating. Very fancy restaurant with a beautiful view into the kitchen. It’s been a few days and my partner and I are still talking about how delicious it was. We left completely full as well! Very much worth the €70pp. Can’t recommend enough to anyone in the area. Worth a long drive even!

28/10/2024: Ristorante con vista sul mare spettacolare, piatti molto gustosi e personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Ci siamo stati per caso per un pranzo e non si poteva lasciare la costa amalfitana senza ritornarci. Grazie infinite a tutto lo staff e a presto.

13/10/2024: La mejor pizza y pasta al dente que tuvimos en nuestro viaje a Italia. Además de eso, los precios eran muy asequibles y el personal era amable. Fuimos aquí por dos cenas seguidas. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar!

08/12/2024: The restaurant is high up on the mountain, and our driver (not arranged by the restaurant as some of the reviews state) knew the roads well and got us there quickly and safely. We were seated in a smaller dining room off to the side where it was really quiet. Would’ve preferred to sit in the main dining area. White table cloth atmosphere. Food was delicious, standouts include the lavender panko crusted scallops, sea bass, black truffle tagliolini (a bit under seasoned for my preference, but great truffle flavor), sorbetto di limone. And for my night cap they poured a generous 4 finger pour of 15 year scotch! Service was attentive, but not overbearing.

06/12/2024: In pieno centro di Salerno, serata di accensione luci natalizie, locale pieno......stragentili ci hanno riservato un tavolo alle 21, precedentemente prenotato per le 20 dopo essere stati avvisati del nostro ritardo. Menu scritto sulla lavagna e illustratoci a voce, eravamo in 9 ed ognuno ha fatto la sua scelta: servizio veloce e preciso, piatti abbondanti e tutti buonissimi! Cosa abbiamo scelto: alici ripiene, seppioline e carciofi, mallone ....per citarne solo alcuni. Siamo rimaste tutte soddisfatte. Prezzo buono. Lo consiglio.

17/08/2024: We had such a wonderful experience at Il Tridente Positano! Our view was unparalleled and our servers were very nice and professional, their wine and food recommendations were delicious! We celebrated our honeymoon there, and although I initially hadn’t been able to book the table I wanted, I signed up for the waitlist and got contacted immediately. I absolutely recommend this restaurant in your upcoming visit to Positano!

01/12/2024: Ho mangiato un antipasto di pesce: il polpo sembrava di plastica, alla masticazione gommoso..un pezzo di baccalà fritto, era molliccio e senza sapore... Ho poi scelto candele con genovese di tonno, i pezzi di tonno avevano sapore di aceto e quindi ho avuto la sensazione fossero scollegati dal resto degli ingredienti. Che dire.. Esperienza da considerare non piacevole.. da quanto letto in recensioni sul web mi aspettavo molto di più!!!

01/12/2024: Two of us went to dinner, we passed by and entered. We ordered a plate of mixed fries and some spaghetti alle vongole; for dessert a lemon candy. Everything was spectacular. But I want to highlight the attention of the waiter, a super friendly big man. I recommend 100%.

During my visit, I was pleasantly impressed by the quality and presentation of the dishes, which reflect extraordinary attention to detail. 1. tubetti with octopus: The pasta dish was rich in flavour, with a perfectly balanced tomato sauce and fresh ingredients. The pasta was al dente and blended well with the octopus, creating an explosion of Mediterranean flavours. 2. Mixed fry: The fried fish was a real delight. Each piece of squid and prawn was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, without being oily. A well-executed classic that fully satisfies. 3. Mixed seafood starter: The mixed starter was an excellent start. Various tastings of seafood dishes, including octopus, aubergines with tomato and parmesan, and other elements of the Salerno tradition, offer a complete panorama of the restaurant's cuisine. Each component had a distinct and authentic flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive. 08/11/2024: Intimate and original location In summer you can dine outdoors. Always fresh food and never banal dishes. The order of the day is always kindness and availability. Family management is the true secret and soul of this fish restaurant.

01/11/2024: Cute space, first class service, excellent food, very nice wine list. They are passionate about the experience! Waiter was very helpful in selecting a wine to match the food. Parking, as in anywhere in Amalfi, is tight.
