17/10/2025: This was by far the best dinner we had in our entire 10 days of traveling through Italy. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Everything was well presented and delicious. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Amalfi coast. It’s a hidden gem nestled among the cliffs. Give this place some Michelin stars! They absolutely deserve them!

18/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant as a couple. It's a beautiful location overlooking Positano. We ate divinely. The dinner was enlivened and enlivened with music by the delightful Antonio, an added bonus to this already beautiful location.

13/10/2025: From being picked up at our hotel by none less than the owner, all the way through to the return journey afterwards, we had the most memorable night at Il Pino. It has a very family run feel, which is great! The service was brilliant and not only efficient but full of laughs and chats. The food was outstanding! One of the best meals we had on our Amalfi leg. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more and we will certainly be back if we visit Praiano again.

14/10/2025: I didn't like the practically mandatory "aperitivo in cantina" tax upon arrival, costing 40 euros for two people. And then the restaurant was hosting a wedding, so our four-course menu lasted four hours. That's practically one course per hour. It was endless.

31/10/2025: Really lovely food and we accidentally ordered a cheese dish and told them to charge us since we thought it was pasta but they said it’s okay and didn’t charge us. But all of the food was amazing and definitely worth it. The staff was amazing and super sweet. They kept checking on the heating as well.

19/10/2025: Authentic cuisine, prepared with care and special attention to the finest ingredients. The homey atmosphere, thanks to the gracious owners, is complemented by dishes where the catch of the day (always incredibly fresh) takes center stage. The paccheri with fish sauce, clams, mussels, and calamari are superb, as is a house staple: scampi risotto. Today we also tried the mixed fried fish, which was exquisite and beautifully fried. We finished with a delicious and delicate pasticciotto with cream and black cherry sauce. Excellent value.

15/09/2025: Excellent beach resort with a restaurant. Well-spaced umbrellas, clean restrooms, and a working shower. The food was excellent; everything we tried was delicious, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. The service was friendly and attentive. You immediately felt at home. It's a shame we couldn't return the next day!

13/10/2025: Previously reviewed under a different account, still mine, I'm posting it again on this new account. ... It happens, sometimes you ask for directions to a place to eat and then... Yes, then you hope to meet the same person the next day so you can thank them... I was enchanted, it felt like entering another dimension where you have to leave your worries behind and enjoy the evening... .... What can I say? The staff was competent, extremely kind, attentive, and, for me, "smiling." The service was precise and fast, the dishes were well-presented and even better cooked, from appetizer to dessert a riot of flavors. Thank you all, a great team of young people who work well... I also appreciated the harmony I perceived among the staff, attentive, serious, but very relaxed. There's everything you need to make the occasional diner or regular customer feel at ease. Leave your worries aside and let yourself be pampered... One thing's for sure: I'll be back!!! Oh, I forgot, the prices.... I blessed every euro I spent this evening, 40 euros that I'll never regret. I hope it can be helpful to those like me who are looking for a "special" place for an unforgettable evening.

03/11/2025: Very nice service and also general great atmosphere with excellent food. Far less stressful than in the restaurants down at the coast. Vegetarian options where possible even when they were not on the menu.

30/10/2025: A restaurant of the highest standard both in terms of professional and pleasant service and in terms of excellent food. We ordered 2 appetizers that were precise and delicious, 2 wonderful main courses (not huge but not small either - just the right size), one of which we received an early recommendation (black and white pasta) and the other pasta with truffle mushrooms. The desserts were also wow! Wonderful panna cotta and a not-too-sweet chocolate dessert. The kitchen knows its job very well. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it. An elegant restaurant with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

01/11/2025: Alright, so I stroll up to this little spot perched above the Amalfi Coast—view looks like it was painted by Michelangelo’s cousin who was really into carbs. You can smell the pizza before you see it. That’s always a good sign. They bring it out—thin crust, perfectly blistered, looks like it spent just the right amount of time in the oven. Not too doughy, not too cracker-y. I take the first bite—boom. Immediate flavor punch. The sauce has that fresh, slightly sweet San Marzano thing going on. Cheese ratio? Money. Crust has the right amount of char. You know when you hit that perfect chew? Yeah, it’s that. No floppy nonsense, no soggy middle. Just a proper Neapolitan-style pie executed by someone who clearly knows what they’re doing. I’m sitting here overlooking the Mediterranean eating one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Italy, and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza. Score? We’re talking strong numbers. I’m giving it a 9.1—elite pie, certified Amalfi Coast heater. One bite, everybody knows the rules.

22/10/2025: While staying at Pepe's, I visited a family-run restaurant. They even provided free car pickup from the hotel, and the family was so warm and welcoming. 🥹 I had the arabiata and the traditional Amalfi seafood pasta with thick noodles. It was delicious and the portions were huge!! The price was reasonable, but the portions were generous. The seafood pasta sauce was especially delicious. The noodles had a texture and flavor I'd never experienced before, so it was a new experience~ They gave me a welcome drink as soon as I arrived, and after the meal, they gave me a small cup of tiramisu, chocolate cream, and a limoncello shot for dessert. 😭😭 I was so happy to have finished a perfect meal!! The night view from the outdoor terrace was especially beautiful. I wanted to visit again on my last day, but it was too late, so I couldn't. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Italy!! 🩵

08/11/2025: We were so lucky to have dinner at L’Unico during our short time in Salerno. The owner took time to share information about local wines, talked to us about the fresh seafood (ours was caught that morning) and our experience was so special. The food was amazing (we shared pasta and fish) and the dessert to die for. Thank you so much for making our evening one to remember.

20/10/2025: Taking a boat from the port of Positano, I discovered La Gavitella, a true hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast. The place, nestled against the cliffs and opening onto the sea, exudes serenity. We savor a spritz, indulge in a dip in the turquoise water, and then enjoy a lunch of remarkably fresh Mediterranean flavors. The service is attentive and warm, and the atmosphere refined without the slightest pretension. Everything here invites you to let go and fully enjoy the moment. A place of rare beauty, where time seems to stand still—arguably in the most beautiful region in the world. 🌊✨
