29/05/2025: Today, May 29, my celiac husband and I went to this wonderful restaurant for lunch and we couldn't help but write a super review. I'm attaching the photos of our fantastic lunch 😍😍 We ate everything gluten-free and we highly recommend it to everyone 🥰👌 truly fabulous food in addition to the breathtaking view When you don't know where to go to eat, go here ... you'll be surprised ☺️ Michela & Rosario

02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

11/05/2025: Cortesi professionali e con ottime proposte Abbiamo provato le tartare e l’insalata di mare Davvero buone Come primi sia il risotto con crema di scampi che le linguine con la tartare di gamberi rossi Molto buono anche il Filetto di rombo con lo zafferano Carta dei vini molto interessante con etichette sia locali che nazionali ben ricercate Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Consigliatissimo e da andarci

01/05/2025: Locale Delizioso per un'ottima cena o pranzo,pescato fresco e di qualità ,ottime anche le pizze e i primi di terra e pesce, tutto eccellente grazie anche alla maestria dell'ottimo chef e manager del locale Carmine che con la sua cortesia e gentilezza sa accontentare anche i palati più esigenti.Consigliata la squisita parmigiana ...prelibatezza unica.Semplicemente Super consigliato.

09/06/2025: The food And service were absolutely amazing. They accommodated our party of nine. Perfect place for a quiet meal with breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. If you're driving your own vehicle, It's best to call ahead as with anywhere in Massa Lubrense, as there is limited space on parking, and the roads can be a bit of a challenge to Navigate. Definitely well worth a visit, and we are glad to have had the experience of dining here

17/06/2025: I came to Ischia from NYC on my first ever solo trip. I was lucky to meet the owner Pietro on my first night, and ended up dining here on both my first and last night of my four night stay. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the food is delicious, and the live music was such a nice surprise. The zucchini pasta was so fresh and the Margherita pizza was my favorite of my 3 week Italy trip. I can’t wait to go back to Ischia and will recommend Mezzanotte to everyone!

14/06/2025: Mangiato bene, una pasta alla genovese ottima, come le bruschette al pomodoro e l'impiegata di cozze. Buona anche l'orata al forno El la pizza con la bufala. Servizio cordiale e simpaticissimo.

03/06/2025: Thanks to Michele for booking us a table at Taverna Do Re. Massimo was a friendly and helpful host and we ate very well. Excellent octopus, tasty pastas and exceptional parmigiana with a view of the Maschio Angioino.

15/06/2025: Très bonne expérience un midi, sans prétention, sur une placette charmante et authentique. Une pizza excellente avec une pâte parfaite. Nos amis ont pris un plat de pastas aux légumes et crevettes tout aussi excellent. Tout est fait maison, cuisine familiale. Ce fut un régal !

16/05/2025: Primero lo primero, P A N O R A M A. Me quedé atónito dos veces: por el retrato mágico de Nápoles y el “Risotto Pescatora”. Este restaurante es criminalmente pasado por alto, merece la atención que desafortunadamente no tiene debido a la posición. Pero confía en mí cuando digo que no es solo una comida, sino una experiencia. Es muy asequible en comparación con la mayoría de los lugareños en el centro de Sorrento. ES UNA NECESIDAD

01/06/2025: Ho cenato presso La Pergola per un'occasione speciale, pertanto ho apprezzato moltissimo l'atmosfera calda e familiare del posto. Quel che mi ha colpita particolarmente, oltre allo splendido pergolato grondante limoni dappertutto, è stata la presenza di clientela prevalentemente Procidana (indice, per me, di consolidata stima e fiducia verso i ristoratori). Antipasti, primi e secondi erano deliziosi, abbiamo anche ricevuto un'ottima indicazione per il vino. Se tornassi a Procida non avrei dubbi su dove recarmi per una romantica cena, senza dubbio qui.

20/05/2025: Spectacular spring lunch 😍 The food was excellent: the flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were incredibly fresh (the anchovies a la moda di Capri were divine). A quiet atmosphere to enjoy a totally relaxing experience to get away from the daily routine. Impeccable service Excellent value for money! The generous portions and the exceptional taste. Highly recommended!!!

14/05/2025: Absurd price for a decidedly average quality. The lady who served us was very friendly, unfortunately the chef, presumptuous as few, got annoyed when I pointed out to him that the Romanian pork and lamb meatballs were raw (literally they had the consistency and color of raw minced pork). Ps. The "Neapolitanized" ramen broth is also a no go if it turns out to be a simple vegetable broth, tasteless and insipid, especially if the main element of the ramen is the river shrimp simply placed to float in the broth and without a minimum overall seafood flavor of the ramen. (By the way, the river shrimp were not even opened and cleaned of the enormous intestine full of sand)

09/05/2025: waiter couldn't speak English but someone help. I needed something else but got this rather and it was good. The place is small and they didn't have sushi.

19/05/2025: I packed a portion of beef offal with tomatoes, which was delicious! The tomato flavor was very strong, and the amount of beef offal was also large, which was very suitable for Chinese stomachs. The default spiciness was average.
