23/08/2024: An enchanting little place to say the least....particular and refined....for many but not for everyone

16/08/2024: La location veramente piccola con 12 posti a sedere ma nello stesso tempo molto curata e raffininata nei particolari. Il menu presenta poche scelte tra carne e pesce ma tuttavia i piatti sono ben presentati e curati e di buona qualità. La nota dolente è decisamente il prezzo a mio avviso "un furto" abbiamo speso 235 euro per due antipasti, due primi, due secondi, due dolci, una bottiglia di acqua, due calici di vino e due caffè (5 euro a caffè manco fossimo a piazza San Marco). è vergognoso che un ristorante senza stella Michelin possa pretendere un prezzo del genere ma in realtà la spiegazione è ben chiara come può un ristorante con solo 12 posti a sedere riuscere ad ottenere un ricavo con 6 dipendenti?????

06/08/2024: Yesterday, 3 of us went there for dinner. The food was brilliant at a good price. Drinks were also cheap and service good. The food is very fresh. We recommend to go there! Only difficult to park!

15/08/2024: We ate very well at the Locanda Battisti. The restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B host precisely because it is an authentic place, far from the typical tourist traps, where you can enjoy quality food, especially fish. My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to try several dishes and we were satisfied with all of them. The fish was fresh and of high quality, and each course was carefully prepared. The staff was courteous, and the price was right for what we ate. We highly recommend the ravioli filled with buffalo mozzarella and lobster ragù, truly excellent!

24/08/2024: We dined outdoors, in the open space in front of the restaurant. The place is closed on three sides by the surrounding buildings and is therefore a bit narrow. Despite this, we appreciate the excellent cuisine, especially fish-based, and the very quick and attentive service. The food was very good, with fresh, local products, even if the portions were quite small. The presentation was careful. The dessert was very delicious, followed by - as a gift from the house - a sort of digestive candy. The staff is very jovial, not at all formal, in line with a tavern.

21/08/2024: We came back two nights in a row for this place it was amazing! The truffle pasta is a must and the tuscan steak is amazing value for the portion. Thank you to the staff for their warm welcomes and always ensuring we were satisfied. Definitely will be back and will recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food!

18/08/2024: Very nice location, overlooking the sea, excellent food with a good quality/price ratio. Only note, better not to become a regular customer, I've been there three times, the first one one of the best seats, impeccable service, second time I wanted to try the meat, and already too many greetings and the most hidden seat and then a constant call to the waiter. Third time good place to sit but after 5 minutes they make us get up and sit near the counter where the waiters have cutlery, bread, glasses, and in our place a couple who evidently know the staff are made to sit who evidently leave good tips. The rest I recommend.

17/07/2024: Piatti di pesce veramente accattivanti, particolari, abbondanti e squisiti. Idem per i primi, contorni e dolci. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. All'interno il locale è veramente carino (effetto che non percepisci all'esterno). Torneremo sicuramente.

14/07/2024: un ristorante a Padula il cibo ottimo ho preso dei gnocchetti squisiti una frittura fresca e molto buona il servizio di una cortesia impeccabile siamo stati veramente accolti come a casa di sicuro se ripasso da quelle parti non mancherò di andarci lo consiglio

18/08/2024: With extreme pleasure, more than 20 years later, I remember this beautiful restaurant place. I went there in 2002 and Mr. was the owner and owner. Mario with his wife and children. A mutual friend from Corbara brought me who then got married in August and I was invited to the wedding. I went several times both in the evening and at midday. Even then the quality of the food was excellent, it was more of a pizzeria than a restaurant, but I still found myself at ease on every occasion. Service, courtesy, food always at the top... I have a memory that I still carry in a corner of my heart today. I don't know if it's the same owners or their children but I have to say that you are always at the top and even improved. 22/08/2024: Excellent restaurant in Piano di Sorrento, directly on the quay of the Cassano marina. Excellent quality food prepared in an excellent manner. Abundant dishes. High prices, but in line with those of the Sorrento peninsula. Considering the quality and quantity, it's okay.

20/08/2024: Wonderful experience, friendly and kind staff. Excellent quality of food, fresh fish cooked in a masterly manner respecting the tradition handed down through generations. The place offers a very suggestive view of the Gulf of Sorrento. Excellent value for money.

25/08/2024: Great casual spot for dinner. They provided shuttle service was greatly appreciated. The food was tasty but don't expect fine dining. We were a little disappointed in the wine selection but ended up getting a nice price mid-ranged bottle of white that we enjoyed. I was expecting more child-friendly options on the menu, but they were able to make accommodations for us once we asked.

11/08/2024: Extraordinary! Highly recommended! I ate here with my daughters in 2022 and made certain our Italian driver Pasquale went out of our way to return, with my daughter Andrea and family. Once again we had a table next to a window with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Get there early if you want a table by a window. By the way Pasquale is also fantastic.:YourItaliandriver.com

17/06/2024: La novità è un ristorante molto rinomato della zona: si trova a cavallo tra Nocera Superiore e Cava dei Tirreni. Locale non molto grande e che risente del peso del tempo. Antipasto di terra senza infamia e senza lode: prodotti buoni ma niente di eccezionale, sopratutto riguardo ai salumi. Buona la carne, presentate in varie varianti. Scioglievole, succulenta e ben cotta. Personale molto gentile e attento.

15/05/2024: Excellent fish restaurant, although recently they have changed starters (instead of soft and crunchy tentacle they now bring you micro octopus... obviously it's not the same thing).

20/08/2024: I went for dinner with my girlfriend. Special mention for the elderly valet, a gentleman who opened the door for my girlfriend, and had a very polite manner. Good quality food, we ate first and second, but truly perfect service and environment, of a high standard. All at modest prices. What can I say, highly recommended.

24/07/2024: Davvero non capisco come questo posto possa avere ottime recensioni e sopratutto essere menzionato fra i "ristoranti" o pescherie "boutique" come la chiamano loro, da visitare a Napoli. Sicuramente fanno un ottimo marketing nel quale ci sono cascato anch' io (o meglio un mio amico Americano che era con me). Abbiamo preso il crudo misto. Prima cosa, i sapori del pesce fresco sono coperti da insalatine, erbe, pistacchio, avocado, e altra roba indecifrabile. Il piatto che costa 40 euro è principalmente composto da quest' ultime con i frutti di mare e pesce in quantità LIMITATISSIMA. Francamente per quel piatto "per due" non avrei pagato più di 20 euro, ma solo considerando la location e l' idea. Non mi dilungo ulteriormente, concludo solo dicendo che per me è una trappola per turisti (non so se fosse una coincidenza ma c' erano solo turisti stranieri all' interno). Sicuramente non un posto per locals o comunque per chi vive o ha vissuto in una città di mare come Napoli. Peccato.
