02/04/2026: Trattoria Da Armandino sits right on the beach next to the marina, we stopped in for an excellent lunch. Everything we ordered was outstanding, with the scialetelli and clams, seared tuna, and fried mozzarella being our favorites. My son said the cannoli was the best dessert he has ever had, but I thought the homemade lemon cake was even better. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and checked in with us often.

06/02/2026: La Barrique Braceria, on Via Sediviola in Torre del Greco, is a must-visit for lovers of good meat. I visited with friends and had a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for a dinner with friends. The quality of the meat is excellent, cooked to perfection and enhanced by the grill. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend the best cuts. A place where you eat well and want to return.

It's a pity that we discovered it on the third day of our holiday, but since then we haven't missed any opportunity to eat here.
Excellent food, perfect service, pleasant environment.

28/03/2026: Nonna Sceppa is a place worth preserving. The ingredients and preparation are of the highest quality, with simple yet perfect plating. It's rare to find a restaurant that achieves excellence with both fish and meat, vegetables, and desserts. The quality/price ratio (for the quality) is also excellent. If I really had to offer a suggestion (not a criticism), I'd say that the owner and his sons are a bit cold and aloof, especially when ordering, where a touch of friendliness would be preferable.
10/03/2026: We had two fish-based starters, both excellent quality and generous portions. For our main course, a delicious fried calamari. The place may be a little dated, but the management and the quality of the food make it worth a visit, even if the prices are a bit high.

29/03/2026: I went to dinner for a family celebration. The location was beautiful and the service was good, but since I'm vegetarian, they asked for a separate menu.
I was served an excellent mozzarella braid with a few sprigs of plain arugula, followed by a first course of penne with tomato sauce and vegetables for the second course. I was very disappointed because I was charged full price, the same as my relatives who ate an appetizer, two fish-based first courses, and a mixed fried fish dish. I don't think it's fair to equate the cost of my meager dishes with well-cooked and prepared fish dishes. The dishes for us vegetarians could be improved, since they wanted to serve me a slice of meat for the second course. π

02/04/2026: We visited this trattoria based on a recommendation in our guidebook and on Google. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The service was unmotivated. The waiter only brought the bread for the appetizer after we pointed it out. The salad for the main course arrived after we had already finished our main course. The quality of the meat can only be described as very poor.
When paying at the register, we were asked if everything was alright. We expressed our dissatisfaction, whereupon they reduced the price by β¬6. We felt this was completely unacceptable.
We have eaten at well over 100 restaurants in Italy in recent years and cannot understand the positive reviews.

06/03/2026: A very good dining experience with room to grow. The food was delicious and clearly made with quality ingredients. The flavors were authentic and enjoyable, and overall we had a nice evening here.
However, the service could be more professional. The staff was friendly, but the organization and attention to detail could definitely improve. With a bit more professionalism in the service, this place could easily become a 5-star experience.
Still, a good restaurant that is worth visiting if you are in the area.
16/01/2026: Despite a few days short stay in Amalfi, we visited here twice because it was a very nice experience. The pasta with lobster (in the picture) was especially unforgettable and I repeated it at the second visit. The sea food was very fresh and seasoning was perfect. The service was pleasant.
