14/07/2025: La location è ottima, splendida corte interna. I prezzi sono alti (soprattutto le bibite: acqua 4 euro), ma in realtà abbastanza in linea con la media di Pompei dove si tende a esagerare. Pizze ottime, e anche i fiori di zucca. Di certo il luogo e il cibo sono complessivamente superiori alla media degli altri ristoranti.

25/06/2025: Después de recorrer las ruinas de Pompeya paramos aquí para comer algo en nuestro camino de regreso a la ciudad. El anfitrión muy agradable nos encontró una mesa con aire acondicionado ya que hacía calor! O el camarero también recomendó un poco de jugo de naranja recién exprimido que era excelente! Las pizzas eran muy buenas también!

26/08/2025: It's true that Japanese people only write about things they think are bad, but they only write about things that are really bad. The atmosphere was perfect, but everything else was terrible. They couldn't remember our order and the food was flavorless. I prefer light flavors though...

09/08/2025: Showed up at noon to plenty of empty seats and was still turned away. The middle-aged hostess was shockingly rude and condescending, barely even looked at me while speaking. I left feeling insulted and unwelcome. Don’t waste your time coming all the way out here — it’s not close to anything and parking is difficult.

07/08/2025: Caution! The cash register is broken, so it's cash only. I exchanged cash nearby... I found this place on YouTube. It's about an 8-minute walk from the station. The pasta is firm, al dente. A liter of white wine is perfect for quenching my thirst. I ordered octopus carpaccio, pasta, and seafood frites. I arrived around 12:30, and it was quieter than I expected. It's not amazing, but it's a delicious restaurant.

17/08/2025: We went to Pizzeria Bella Napoli in Forio and had a truly delicious meal! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The location on the harbor, with the sunset in the background, created a magical atmosphere. The spaghetti with clams was tasty, albeit a little greasy. Overall, a very pleasant experience that we highly recommend!

14/08/2025: It's a shame about the unfriendly staff; we interacted with a lady who wasn't at all polite. We'd ordered an appetizer for two, a first course, and a second course. During the appetizer, we wanted to cancel the first course, but they wouldn't let us, saying the pasta had already been thrown away without asking the kitchen first. The pasta arrived 25 minutes later. I don't know any type of pasta that cooks in 25 minutes, nor did it arrive overcooked, so they definitely weren't already cooking it. All this just to make €20? The food wasn't bad, but kindness and empathy with the customer should always come first.

27/08/2025: The name does not lie! “bellavista” means beautiful view and that’s what you’ll find here, a beautiful view on Capri and in good days the most breathtaking sunset you can imagine! When it comes to food, quality and freshness take the stage! Don’t expect gourmet but just delicious traditional food! Prices are surprisingly cheap for the area! I recommend

26/08/2025: Great food. Definitely recommended for seafood or pasta. One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. The only con is that the restaurant is located on a highway so you can hear all cars and motorcycles passing by. No music during our dinner.

28/08/2025: A real favorite! I'm French and have been here for a few days, and this is the first time I've experienced such pleasure in an Italian restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly; we immediately felt at ease. I came with my sister, her partner, and my daughter, and we were treated with genuine, simple, and sincere attention. Every bite of my meal was a delight, with authentic, generous flavors prepared with care. You can feel the love of cooking and the desire to please the customers. A special thought goes to the chef and his entire team: I hope they continue to delight their customers for a long time to come!

27/08/2025: I contacted them two days in advance by texting and WhatsApp but to no avail. I wanted to reserve a seat for 7pm on August 28th, but after I called and specified the time I wanted to reserve, they hung up without any further information. Then I called again and was told that they were closed on August 28th, but that was ok. I asked if they were available on the 29th, but the service staff said they couldn't hear me and hung up the phone. So I hope that if I go there tomorrow or pass by, you guys would be closed, otherwise you are a scam?

27/08/2025: What a lovely dinner. The ambience is lovely, the service is excellent and the food deserves a Michelin star for sure. One of the best restaurants experiences we had in Capri and if you are staying along Via Tragara there is a short cut to reach the restaurant!

21/08/2025: Unfortunately, Il Buco does not live up to its Michelin star. The food seems passionless. We opted for the “I trust you” menu because we wanted to see what creative dishes the chef would come up with. Instead, we just got random dishes from the menu. Nothing about the choices was inventive and we honestly would have saved money if we ordered those dishes directly. The initial appetizers were very bland — and so while we were initially interested in the wine pairing, we switched to just ordering a bottle since we didn’t feel like the pairing would live up to our standards. It also felt unorganized - we had about 3-4 different servers all at once. Above all, it was a fine meal. But it doesn’t deserve the amount of money we paid. I wouldn’t go back.

However, we were seated in a back room, which unfortunately lacked the same refinement and ambiance, making it feel more like an ordinary restaurant rather than a Michelin-starred establishment. Service timing was uneven. The amuse-bouche was brought out immediately as we sat down, which felt rushed, while the starters followed only after a 20-minute wait. The food itself was acceptable, but it didn’t meet the high expectations one typically has for a Michelin-starred experience—flavors and presentation were fine, but not remarkable. The staff were friendly and polite throughout the evening, which we appreciated. However, the overall service fell short of Michelin standards. Several small but important details were missing: dishes were occasionally served without explanation, no one asked about our wine preferences, and there was a lack of attentiveness in areas like cleaning the table properly between courses. Another distraction was the sound of the dishwasher during our meal, as staff began cleaning up for the evening. This detracted from the atmosphere and made the dining experience feel rushed and unfinished. In summary, while Il Buco offers a pleasant setting and friendly staff, the overall experience did not live up to Michelin-star expectations. Key elements in service, timing, and attention to detail were lacking, leaving us with a sense of disappointment.
