04/10/2025: Tommasini is a place where you can eat well! I opted for the gnocchi with butter and sage, heavenly! The gnocchi were tender, soft, and melted in your mouth. The butter and sage turned this dish into a culinary masterpiece, creamy, fragrant, and full of flavor. Total comfort food! I recommend it to anyone who appreciates simplicity and flavor. For dessert, the "torta della nonna" is a must. Delicious! 💛

04/07/2025: Splendida serata sul piccolo, ma accogliente, terrazzino nel pieno delle bellezze di Napoli. Personale cordiale, affabile, ma nello stesso tempo di altissima professionalità. Servizio ed atmosfera perfetti. Marcello, il proprietario, come se lo si conoscesse da sempre. Viviana, la chef, attentissima alle esigenze di ogni cliente, nel parlare dimostra tutto l' amore e passione con cui affronta il suo lavoro. Prepara piatti nei quali esalta i sapori di prodotti di altissima qualità. Esperienza molto positiva e che mi sento vivamente di consigliare.

21/09/2025: Last night we had dinner at this beautiful restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary... we were thrilled with our choice. The table setting and dining rooms were beautiful, and the dishes were excellent: an explosion of flavors. We chose the paccheri with monkfish, the amberjack fillet with potato and olive millefeuille, and finally, the delicacies... everything was sublime! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

20/09/2025: This was one of my favorite dining experiences to date! Off the bat, the atmosphere was incredible. They seated me right away without a reservation, in a beautifully lit entry garden to the restaurant. It was just private enough where I could still enjoy some people watching. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely to die for. Would recommend splurging and getting the dessert. Loved the Wild Strawberry Tart, I thought I had died and went to heaven. Don't waste any more time and enjoy this lovely dining experience!

15/09/2025: It's very quiet here. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and so is the service. The staff are kind, polite, and attentive, but never intrusive. They work calmly, which doesn't mean they're slow, but they're not agitated, and this contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. The food is very good. The dishes are flavorful and not overdone (in terms of the use of ingredients and the balance of flavors). Generous portions and tasty dishes! The price is fair.

12/09/2025: We've been for dinner three times, and I regret not staying longer! The first night, the service wasn't excellent; the second night, there was only one waiter and the gentleman who was cashiering and taking orders. The service was fast and friendly despite the restaurant being completely full. The food was good! I don't eat fish, and I had a very good amatriciana! I have no negative comments. I'll also add the price: excellent value for the area!

19/09/2025: Gem of a restaurant! Probably the best meal we have enjoyed in Ischia and definitely the least expensive. If you want authentic Italian food prepared and served in a family-run restaurant, this is it! Plus it is close to a sandy beach. The lemon linguini, prawn risotto and zucchini flowers with ricotta were very special dishes. Six stars!!!!

13/09/2025: My girlfriend and I were camping nearby and craving some authentic local food, so we decided to visit Scirocco. We chose the 8-course degustation menu, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and the owners were not only passionate about their food but also incredibly warm and welcoming. The portions are generous, so make sure to come with a good appetite! We couldn’t quite finish everything during our visit, but the great part was that we were able to take the fried fish and pasta with us — and enjoyed them the next evening, still just as delicious. If you’re in the area and want to experience local cuisine at its finest, Scirocco is an absolute must-visit.

08/09/2025: We stumbled upon Ristorante Scirocco by chance, but we'd definitely return often! The modern and elegant atmosphere, the ambient music, was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the dishes prepared by Chef Lucca. There were three of us, and we enjoyed three different appetizers... but the cuttlefish with potatoes won me over! Then came the first courses... paccheri with amberjack... a flavor... and then, to finish, the desserts... delicious, but the "chef's cheesecake" was the highlight. To top it all off, they have ample parking, which is a real help.

20/09/2025: Eating here felt like being welcomed into an Italian nonna's home. The warmth of the place and the incredible, heartfelt cooking truly set it apart. The lasagna was the real deal—just like something a loving grandmother would make. The layers were tender, the bolognese rich and slow-cooked, and the cheese was so light and creamy it was heavenly. The eggplant dish was another highlight. It was simple yet perfect, cooked to a delicate softness with a hint of smokiness. It was a beautiful example of how great ingredients, treated with care, can create something truly special. And for dessert, the tiramisu was exactly what I'd hoped for. It was light, creamy, and had the perfect balance of espresso and mascarpone. It wasn't overly sweet, just pure, classic perfection. This isn't just a meal; it's a taste of tradition and a love letter to authentic Italian cooking. If you're looking for a meal that feels like a hug from a nonna, this is it.

20/09/2025: EXTREMELY bad food but waiter was friendly..not worth the visit this is not a matter of taste .. shrimp was dirty and still had dirt in it ...steak was harder than rock and the knife couldnt cut it picture added

13/09/2025: We happened upon this and ordered "antipasti," whereupon we were served various antipasti with seafood and vegetables, each plate more delicious than the next, lovingly prepared, everything explained, it was heavenly. Then came a pasta dish with seafood, and we were so full and satisfied. The local white wine was also very good. Thanks to the host and the chef :-)

06/09/2025: The food is truly delicious! Wonderful staff! Antonio offers impeccable service with his kindness and friendliness, never intrusive. Paolo is a true chef! Compliments to all the kitchen and dining room staff. It's a wonderful experience. The photo of this first course says it all... We'll definitely be back!

08/10/2025: We ordered pickled anchovies, fried calamari, Gorgonzola pizza, lemon spaghetti salad, lasagna, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was very tasty and it was very nice to sit there.

02/10/2025: We dined outside with the sound of the surf in the background. The family-run restaurant is very welcoming, and the spaghetti with clams was excellent. Recommended.

04/10/2025: Takes AMEX and has a seat in the bathroom. What more could matter to an American tourist? It is just next to the Hop on Hop Off bus stop number 10, so you hardly have to work for your meal. One of the Naples specialties is Pasta Genovese--a delicately sauteed onion and meat sauce that pre-dates tomatoes in Italian cooking. I tried that and found a new favorite dish with its slow roasted onion and meat sauce. The meat and onions were basically disintegrated into the ziti pasta, and they had added chunks of pork shoulder to give a meatier punch. My dining partner had mussels (cozze) in sauce and did the keto meal (although the sourdough bread was used to wipe up the sauce). The owner / server was quite limited with his conversational English and was helped out with his son? who looked over from playing video games with his buddy when I tried to invite them to the World Cup in the US. They praised my attempts at Italian responses and even the neighbors two tables over were there to help me with my conjugations. Hardly 20 seats in the place and not sure I would want to go there with more than 6 people as the kitchen is probably tiny.
