I could stop here, but it would be unfair not to share more.
How can I not mention Signora Tina, whose traditional recipes from the village of Chianalea captivate the palate and offer authentic flavors that linger?
How can I not mention Marco, the cheerful and genuine head waiter, who welcomes you and guides you through the entire service with kindness, professionalism, and a rare attention to guests?
And then the location: a true pearl of Chianalea, with a charming terrace overlooking the ancient fishing village and the sea, capable of making every lunch or dinner a special experience.
In all fairness, I must add that Marco is my brother. However, this connection hasn't influenced my opinion in the slightest: Lo Scoglio di Ulisse truly deserves the compliments I give it.
A day to remember, in a place where hospitality, tradition, and quality meet in the best possible way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I tried the local food and really enjoyed it. The seasoning was light and flavorful. Marco was very attentive and provided us with a wonderful lunch of swordfish.

On a day trip to Scilla, we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. What can I say? We had a wonderful time! Spectacular on every level, breathtaking views, and eating overlooking the sea is priceless. Precise and reliable service, friendly and professional waiters! Exceptional cuisine, the freshest fish, and truly delicious first courses! Definitely worth returning. If you want to surprise your wife or girlfriend, take her to this restaurant!

We were unsure where to dine, and on the way, Aurelio (who we discovered is the owner's husband) kindly directed us to the restaurant. We trusted him and gave it a try.
The restaurant is small, but they informed us that in the next few days (we dined at the end of April), as has been the case for some time, it would be possible to eat on the platform being set up outside overlooking the sea, which will undoubtedly make the restaurant a significant profit.
We dined inside, and to give the kitchen a chance to express itself, we relied on waiter Marco to guide us. To be honest, he was too busy, leaving no room for other diners, so much so that we couldn't even talk to each other.
We skipped the first courses to try something else, and I must say that both the hot appetizers and the main courses were good and prepared quickly, although I read in many comments that they took a long time to prepare (it must be said that there weren't many people).
The swordfish rolls were very good. The kitchen offered us a supplement of fish meatballs: it was an appreciated gesture.
The portions could be a little larger, although I prefer less on the plate but good quality.
Tina doesn't do anything special with the plating, but everything is prepared authentically.
I think that in times of chaos, a strong contribution from the kitchen is needed, otherwise they'll panic.
Choose a place carefully to avoid service errors, so you can leave satisfied during quiet moments.
