16/12/2025: I was very satisfied with everything, namely the location which seemed small from the outside but inside is spacious and modern with several tables, two waitresses albeit a little funny but quick and friendly and the raw and cooked appetizers were excellent... I will definitely come back to try the other courses as well as the mixed fried fish.

09/12/2025: We returned for the second year in a row for our anniversary, expecting the same experience we had last year. Unfortunately, it was nothing like it. What I found most unprofessional was that the owner personally contacted me to ask for honest feedback. As soon as I shared that we were dissatisfied, the conversation stopped entirely. Asking for a review and then disengaging when the feedback isn’t positive is not acceptable and made us feel disregarded as customers. Regarding the food, the paccheri with sgombri was not described on the menu as being served with sauce and was extremely salty to the point of being inedible. The cheesecake arrived still frozen inside. Very disappointing overall, especially given the occasion and our previous positive experience.

16/01/2026: I'm giving it two stars only because of the courtesy of the wait staff. It's been a while since I've had such a bad meal. The appetizer was truly bland (the mussels were so small they were tender), and the grilled fish was so covered in garlic that it almost didn't even taste like fish. It needs a complete overhaul.

07/11/2025: A monument built on the ruins of a large Roman villa, inhabited until late antiquity, which between the 6th and 7th centuries became a castrum for the Byzantines who had retained control of the nearby port of Aternum (Pescara), a key landing place and intermediate port between the Exarchate capital of Ravenna and Constantinople. They evidently built the first nucleus of the historic Torre Alex (named after Alessandro Valignano, one of the lords of the Valignano di Cepagatti family in the 17th century). The tower was consolidated in the Lombard era as a control point for a strategic road junction at the crossroads of the S.S. Picena Aprutina and the routes leading up to Forca di Penne and the Aquilano area. From the 11th and 12th centuries, it became the seat of the lords of the Norman, Swabian, and Angevin fiefdom of Cepagatti, before passing to the Valignano family in the 15th century and finally to the current owners. The first archaeological investigations by the Superintendency date back to the 1970s, and continued between 1998 and 2011 in Piazza San Rocco, bringing to light important Roman-era artefacts preserved in the City Council Chamber. The restoration of the Castle has returned to the public the so-called "Sala delle Cisterne," a rare and authentic Roman-era cistern measuring 22 meters long and 4 meters wide, as well as the 340-square-meter "Sala del Grano," located on the top floor of the monument, with a panoramic view of the Pescara Valley. The restoration of the Marcantonio Castle, begun in 2008, represents a "place in history," and the over 2,000 square meters spread over four levels offer the possibility of hosting particularly evocative events. Unfortunately, it is now in decline due to problems with the owners and is closed. What a shame... It is closed and abandoned. We hope the municipality of Cepagatti buys it back.

A strategic location for exploring this beautiful and diverse region. We will definitely be back, highly recommended.

04/09/2025: We just left this B&B after three days of peace and quiet that rejuvenated our minds, leaving us far from the chaos of everyday life. Clelia is a delightful host who pampered us with her super breakfasts! The location is much more beautiful in person than it appears on the website, a bit like stepping back in time. I'm glad I didn't find a place at the other restaurants, so I could enjoy your wonderful cuisine at truly fair prices. Other Trabocchi restaurants, on top of charging more, also charge you extra for wine, whereas here it's included. Thanks to all the staff, who are very kind, especially Stefano. ❤️

04/10/2025: We chose Convivium for our wedding. Stefania and the entire Sporting staff were fabulous. Our day exceeded all expectations. Starting with the food: a large buffet of hot and cold appetizers with various show-cooking stations; throughout the lunch, from starters to main courses, the quantity and quality were excellent; we received nothing but compliments from our guests; and finally, the fruit and dessert buffet was generous with a wide variety of choices, including freshly prepared Nutella crepes. Their meticulous attention to allergies and intolerances is noteworthy, and they were ready to accommodate any need. The maître d', Nicola, Stefania's right-hand man, always made us feel at ease. Along with him, the entire staff is known for their kindness, discretion, and efficiency. A special thanks goes to Stefania, who oversaw the organization of the entire event, demonstrating maximum attention to detail from start to finish. She was with us throughout the day, attentive to our emotions, and always had a solution ready for any request or wish of the newlyweds.

It took us a while to write this review because we couldn't find the right words to thank the entire team for making our dream come true. ❤️ Professionalism, kindness, and availability are absolutely the main characteristics that distinguish them! Even today, almost a month after the big day, people still talk about the exquisiteness and quantity of the buffet and the various courses of the lunch. A special thank you to maître Nicola for being our guide in the days leading up to and on the day itself. 06/01/2026: I was in Pescara for a Sunday lunch, so I decided to take my partner out for lunch. We found this place by chance. When we walked in, we thought we wouldn't be able to eat because it was almost sold out, but we managed to eat. The fish was fresh and well-cooked. I highly recommend it.
