04/03/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. We had a very good time, with the friendly staff and the quiet and private environment. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of the verbal menu and for me it's a flaw as I struggle to quickly choose what to order. However we ate all the starters which were excellent. The fresh and very good quality fish was at a very fair price. The only flaw, which we took with a smile, however, was that the waiter, after we told him that only one of the two would drink, brought a whole bottle which we didn't feel like sending back once opened. However, I highly recommend it for a dinner with friends!

15/02/2025: I have known Valerio for 25 years. I returned to his restaurant after a long time and I found it very good. It is celebrating 30 years of activity and, in my opinion, the common thread is the passion for its work and the balance between the quality of the fish served and attention to the customer. Very honest prices. I recommend it.

10/11/2024: Unfortunately, after this experience, I can say that I have definitively put an end to what for years was a fixed appointment for me at Cavalluccio. Every summer it was a tradition to go and eat there, but this year, due to what happened, I won't be going back again. Last August, I went to lunch with my few month old baby. Once seated at the table, we ordered a fish first course. While I had my son in my arms, the dish, very hot, arrived and he, for a moment, put his hand inside, burning his finger. In a panic, I jumped up to protect him, and in the process the plate fell to the floor. I immediately took my son to the bathroom, who was crying desperately from fear. Upon my return to the table, I expected to find a more attentive situation and at least an apology or intervention from the staff. Instead, I found nothing. No one approached me to ask if anything had happened or to offer to fix the situation. When the waiters came to collect the dishes, they did so without even cleaning or making the slightest gesture of attention, as if nothing had happened. I was really disappointed by the behavior of the staff and, unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that I will never return. It's a real shame, because for many years it was a place I loved, but this time it was too much.

03/04/2025: Mettetevi una maschera e non toglitevela. Servizio pessimo ,attesa infinita ,un piatto di tagliatelle con funghi e piselli congelati,4 salsicce di numero, due piatti di verdura scongelata al momento,un caffè.totale euro 40€ Stateci alla larga.

30/03/2025: Spiace veramente scriverlo,ma è stata una esperienza da non ripetere. Cominciamo dalla fine...conto sproporzionato...80 euro per mangiare a menu fisso,bevande escluse. Antipasti buoni,primo dozzinale....il tutto servito in una struttura arrangiata e che non brilla per ordine e pulizia....peccato! Lo scenario è magico, e il conto un gioco di prestigio!

22/02/2025: First time in the restaurant, beautiful furnishings but not very large spaces, I would say to give up some place settings for greater comfort... The choice falls on the complete appetizer (raw, cold and hot), in addition we take some oysters and we are not told that two of them are still included in the appetizer, a little lightheartedness on the part of the staff. The raw materials are of excellent quality but all things considered, there isn't a dish that has stuck in our minds. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu and maybe get a better idea.

20/09/2024: Frittura indecente, forse perchè dovevano chiudere a hanno dato fondo al pesce surgelato rimasto. Il menù MISERO, si può scegliere tra poche cose. L'insalata di mare non c'è, dicono loro per il fermo biologico, ma altri ristoranti la trovi e buonissima! Forse solo loro lavorano l'insalata di mare fatta con pesce fresco! :))) In due abbiamo mangiato poche cose e tutte cattive e sul conto di 70 euro ci hanno fatto 2 euro di sconto NO ricevuta fiscale. Pietanze servite su contenitori di cartone, tutte.

25/02/2025: La specialità di questo ristorante è l'antipasto di pesce misto. Ci sono diverse portate, caldo e freddo e tutto di ottima qualità. Ottimo anche il fritto

03/03/2025: Locale che offre la possibilità di fare un menù di degustazione di 30€ escluse bevande. Il prezzo è competitivo ma qualitativamente nn è il massimo. L'unico piatto che salvo di quelli che ho mangiato sono gli gnocchetti allo scoglio. Sinceramente nn ci ritornerei

I also asked for a small variation in the dessert because I didn't like an ingredient that was contained in it, the staff immediately proved helpful, friendly and kind.

23/03/2025: The Miramare restaurant is always a guarantee, from the courtesy of the staff to the exceptional quality of the food. We are talking about a historic business that is the flagship of the wonderful Ortona. The lunch was carried out with impeccable care, I was celebrating a birthday and Fabio was super careful in everything, from the preparation of the menu to the pleasant surprise of personalizing the cake and the menu sheet. We all left happily full and satisfied. Thank you very much for everything!

15/03/2025: All very good! From the entree with tuna fillet to a delicious fish broth... from a pasta filled with fish to a sea bream in a pistachio and almond crust. Everything is truly delicious!
