26/08/2025: I dined last night at this fantastic restaurant, located on the Pescara seafront. In the summer, it offers a unique view, allowing you to eat outside on the balcony overlooking the sea. The waiters are very kind and helpful, as well as professional in their service. The cuisine is truly excellent, with quality ingredients and just the right blend of flavors.

17/08/2025: I left a 5-star review a while back, but unfortunately I had to revise it. The food remains excellent, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. However, the service has significantly deteriorated: despite the price increase, customer service has declined. The waiters seem overwhelmed, often forgetting cutlery or failing to explain the dishes being served. Perhaps the restaurant welcomes more customers than it can properly handle. A real shame, because the food and the bill deserve a worthy experience.

09/08/2025: To be honest, the food didn't live up to expectations. Described as one of the best seafood restaurants in Roseto, it has lost much of its appeal over the years, both in terms of location and dishes. Nothing to complain about the service: impeccable. I wouldn't go back...

21/08/2025: We ate on the side dedicated to arrosticini and meat. We had a great time. The bruschettone was good, the Ascoli olives were fine, but above all, the arrosticini, both classic and with liver, were truly delicious. The liver ones deserve a special mention. The best we've had so far. The waitress was very kind and friendly. The location was beautiful, right on the beach. A little pricey, but considering the food, the location, and the time we spent at the table, it's fair enough. Friends who know the place have spoken highly of the seafood section of the restaurant.

20/08/2025: I had dinner at this seaside restaurant with friends and family. We ate both hot and cold appetizers, oysters, mixed fried seafood, calamari with balsamic vinegar, and grilled fish. Everything was delicious, fresh and well-cooked. We drank a good rosé from a local winery. The staff were friendly and professional. I recommend the restaurant and will definitely return if I have the chance.

28/07/2025: Very disappointing. I ordered a gratin seafood appetizer, but half of it consisted of anchovies. My husband ordered spaghetti (instead of chitarrina) with seafood... but they served him spaghetti with only clams, BUT ALL WITHOUT THE SHELL. We ate inside because they had specified that the restaurant was air-conditioned. Too bad that at a certain point they turned it off and also threw the door wide open.

08/09/2025: The staff was kind and courteous, providing impeccable service. Unfortunately, the menu didn't quite match the quality we expected. In particular, the dish described as "guitar allo scoglio" arrived as square spaghetti, which doesn't respect the traditional format. More clarity in the descriptions of the dishes would be helpful to avoid misunderstandings. A real shame, because the staff's courtesy deserves a higher rating.

13/08/2025: The food was decent, the service was too slow (the waitress was grumpy and unpleasant), and the atmosphere was decent. We asked for the dessert menu, but it never arrived. We left unhappy. ⚠️Not recommended!⚠️

18/08/2025: I hadn't been back here for 12 years and I found the same flavors and goodness as before, fresh and quality raw materials. In fact, you need to book for broth or lobster and other demanding fish because I want to guarantee their freshness and availability. The raw appetizers and hot dishes are excellent, including delicious stewed sole and a tasty skate served with very good cherry tomatoes, with an exceptional sauce... the mixed roast is excellent in its cooking and flavor, it doesn't bother you and doesn't leave a smoky or burnt aftertaste as often happens... the desserts are also good, they cleaned out everything, even if the place is a bit chaotic in its acoustics, I will more than willingly return.

01/09/2025: The seafood is incredibly fresh! We had raw fish, seafood salad, calamari fried, seafood risotto and seafood linguine. Everything was excellent. If you're using Venere Beach club this is the restaurant to go to in the nearest vicinity.

26/08/2025: Honestly? I'm really struggling to find any constructive criticism to give here, so I won't. Great food, extremely honest pricing with an unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere, combined with lightning fast service from fun staff who bend over backwards to accommodate (and I'll elaborate here - our group of 12 with age ranges from 6 to their mid-80's are both fiercely critical and certainly not the easiest to please)... What else can I say? What a truly great place 'The Sheep on the Beach' is. I'll only add that the menu changes from seafood during the day to charcoal-grilled meat/pizza in the evenings, book in advance to guarantee a table and if you forget to finish off your meal with a barrel-aged grappa then you're missing out. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening, we all look forward to seeing you guys again soon!
