11/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re in Bardolino, take the extra 8 minute walk and skip the tourist trap restaurants. Osteria Al Capitel is absolutely worth it. The outdoor seating is beautiful, surrounded by palm trees and lime trees, making it a relaxing place to enjoy dinner. One thing we really appreciated was that it’s non smoking, which made the whole experience even better. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. To top it all off, the owner makes her own limoncello and brought us each a sample after dinner. It was incredible and the perfect way to end the meal. This is the kind of family run restaurant you hope to find when travelling. We’ll definitely be back.

08/07/2026: The price-quality ratio was not right. Paid 150 euros for sandwiches and 2 main courses. Prices are also not displayed on the menu. They were nice people, though. Al Cardellino offers better value for money. The ambiance in the garden is also better.

15/07/2026: The pizza was delicious, but the beef steak was unfortunately rare, not medium as ordered. Therefore, one star deducted for the food. The service was friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was somewhat cold and uncomfortable.

15/05/2026: A great vegan and biological restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance the first time we travelled to Verona, and now whenever we travel through Italy, we make a point of stopping in Verona to go to this restaurant. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and there’s a wide selection. The first time we went was for lunch on a weekend; it was very crowded then, so I’d recommend making a reservation on weekends. The last time we went was for lunch on a weekday; the restaurant wasn’t too busy then.

21/05/2026: One of the most beautiful restaurants in Malcesine. You sit on a rooftop terrace with sun protection and enjoy pleasant music. The service is very friendly and fast, and the food is incredibly delicious. The prices are still reasonable compared to Italian restaurants in Germany. Highly recommended. However, you should definitely make a reservation. Because once you've been here, you'll want to come back ❤️...

17/05/2026: Bad service, bad food. The waitresses was rude and not nice, the food was ok but not more than that. Don’t order the spaghetti rago cause it was so bad. Do yourself a favour and find other restaurant.

24/07/2026: During our six-day stay in Garda, we visited Caffè Amaro three time. And that says it all. Away from the tourist crowds but still in a great location, this restaurant serves authentic Italian food. The homemade pasta is outstanding and prepared with great care. We especially recommend the Ragù alla Bolognese, and the daily specials are always worth trying. The staff are friendly and attentive. Reservations are recommended, but they kindly found us a table even without one because we arrived early. Excellent value for money, and we even received a complimentary limoncello at the end. A true hidden gem and one of the best places for authentic pasta in Garda!!

21/07/2026: I visited this restaurant at the end of March with my family. I'm a lover of typical local restaurants and trattorias with traditional cuisine. This one perfectly matches my tastes: a family atmosphere, extremely kind and helpful staff, and excellent traditional cuisine. We had a wonderful time, even with two small children. We'll definitely be back.

26/07/2026: I would have given five stars, but the extra one euro for a pizza box for the pizza I couldn't finish is outrageous, especially after we already paid a five euro cover charge and two additional charges of €3 each for a gluten-free pizza and mussels, which are gluten-free anyway. The service and food were very good.

20/07/2026: Wow! As the reviews say - gorgeous ambience & lovely and relaxed service and delicious food. Unassuming from the outside and opens to a beautiful courtyard and restaurant. Very near to the Arena and main shopping area. We enjoyed a late and slow lunch. Dari met every expectation and even with the poor $EU to Australian exchange rate, was still fair pricing for the experience.

09/05/2026: Super elegant place from the outside, but inside it's a beautiful rustic kitchen. The service, besides being super nice and helpful, you can see that they really care about their products and customers. Seven of us came from Milan, and I have to say that for what we ate and how much the price was, it was truly excellent. I repeat, SPECTACULAR food. Highly recommended ❤️

28/05/2026: This restaurant was superb. The food, service and price was excellent. So much so, we returned for a second night and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. The wine choice is excellent (we had Lugano S.Cristal it was first class) Would we return? - yes. Would we recommend to friends & family - yes. If you arrive on spec, you may find the restaurant full.

02/06/2026: First time for me, recommended by B&B Poggio Caiar. Nothing special. I ordered a mixed grill, while my companion ordered beef steak. They asked us the cooking level and switched my dish, which was supposed to be medium, with my companion's, which was supposed to be rare. I asked for bread to accompany the appetizer and had to ask another waitress because they forgot. The tiramisu wasn't very good; my companion left it after two spoonfuls. But she paid anyway without hesitation or questioning.

31/05/2026: The three of us walked there from Caprino Veronese without a reservation. It's a rocky and steep path, so sturdy shoes are recommended. For the return trip in the dark, you should bring a flashlight or headlamp. A mobile phone will do in a pinch. The restaurant is authentic, without any unnecessary frills. The pizzas are delicious; I tried the spaghetti with anchovies, which I also recommend. The rabbit with polenta was very good, as were the salads. The prices are perfectly reasonable, not at all expensive. We'll definitely go again, preferably on foot.

03/05/2026: A lovely place with a beautiful outdoor area. Given the name, I would have expected a more "horsey" feel, especially in the decor. The quality of the ingredients is good, but for a trattoria, the portions are a bit small, especially the cold cuts. The friendliness and attentive service are paramount. We'll be back.

01/05/2026: There were 15 of us, and we had a starter of cured meats with giardiniera, a trio of tortellini, and dessert. Everything was delicious. Excellent service and a beautiful veranda. We had a great time. Recommended.

24/07/2026: We've had lunch/dinner there several times, mostly with friends. The table linens are carefully chosen, the place is clean, and the staff is courteous. We've always chosen the à la carte menu, but last night we opted for the "Giovedì della Locanda" (Thursday at the Inn), a menu chosen by the chef: cocktails, cicchetti, first course, and dessert... and we were pleasantly surprised. The wine list is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is definitely reasonable... highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Excellent food: beef tartare and seabass with mixed salad for two people and very good house white wine by the glass. There were some small blunders in the service, but overall it was a very pleasant experience!

25/07/2026: A truly exceptional trattoria combining extraordinary hospitality and kindness, sincere and flavorful cuisine made with high-quality ingredients, and a lovely wine list at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the delicious polenta with porcini mushrooms and Grana Padano cheese, the incredible tuna tartare with Taggiasca, and Grand Marnier ice cream with sbrisolona. A restaurant that restores your faith in humanity, and that's a very good thing these days. Bravo!

25/07/2026: Bright and clean, the staff are very professional and genuinely friendly. Tables are spaced further apart than average, giving guests a sense of space and comfort. The menu is reminiscent of the old-fashioned Artusi cuisine, with no regional specialties but with a wide variety of "Italian" dishes like mushroom crepes, tortellini in broth, veal with tuna sauce, and various roast meats. It also leaves room for creativity in original dishes like pappardelle with guinea fowl ragù. Excellent selection of ingredients and well-executed recipes (the homemade egg pasta is textbook). Even the vegetable side dishes are prepared with care and attention to flavor and variety. Very kind to families and small children. In our case, they even offered to wash the dishes we had brought for our baby's food.
