03/06/2025: We hadn't made a reservation and were there with our dog. We received a very warm welcome, and they explained to us in English (since we don't speak Italian) what extras were available. Unfortunately, I can only give the service 5 stars, but they deserved more. They also offered a wine recommendation. The food was excellent. We followed the previous recommendation and shared the delicious roast beef. Afterwards, we had a pizza unlike anything we've had in Germany. There were also a lot of locals there, which was a good sign for us. The visit was worthwhile. Thank you for the lovely evening.

02/06/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant for dinner, we hadn't booked and they immediately found us a table. Compliments for the courtesy, the excellent food, the friendliness of the staff!! We felt at home, if we were to happen to be in these parts again we will definitely stop by you again! Thanks

19/05/2025: Recommended, a fabulous risotto, perfectly cooked and top quality. The owners' welcome is impeccable, it feels like being at home, and what is not to be taken for granted is the care taken in choosing the products, from wines from small cellars to refined bitters. Where to spend a relaxing evening.

19/05/2025: We were here for the third time today. Both the starters (the house special) and the steak and pasta dishes were excellent and highly recommended. It's worth going out for dinner, a little off the beaten track.

13/05/2025: We were there last Saturday for dinner...refined atmosphere, staff in their beautiful uniform and particularly kind. We ate good and tender fillet and rib with a side of roast potatoes and garden salad...not bad. Wine ok...and finally tiramisu and grandma's tart...good and not too sweet. We had a great time. Thanks to all the staff.

10/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante a Valeggio sul Mincio con parcheggio privato. Ambiente curato e molto pulito. Cameriere professionali simpatiche ed estremamente gentili! Tortellini sublimi..di pasta fresca finissima e con ripieno di ottimo gusto e qualità..sia quelli alla carne..agli spinaci e alla zucca! SPECIALI! Contorni e dolci super! Non potevano scegliere locale migliore..abbiamo mangiato benissimo!

10/05/2025: Best pizzeria on Lake Garda. We already make reservations from home so that we can be sure to get a table. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is beautiful and the boss is always friendly and super nice.

Mrs. Martina, granddaughter of a hospitality pioneer, will welcome you to her beautiful home and offer you peace and silence if you are looking for that, a gourmet dinner served in the garden and washed down with good wine if you feel like delighting your palate or, you can simply sit down and listen to the birds while admiring the vineyards of the surrounding hills. I wish everyone an experience at Bacco d'Oro!

11/05/2025: A wonderful vegan discovery in the heart of Verona! Today my wife and I had lunch for the first time at the La Lanterna restaurant in Verona and we were enchanted. From the first moment, the welcome was warm and kind: the girls who served us at the table were truly delightful, smiling and attentive. We ordered a starter and a second course, and we can say with certainty that the quality of the food is very high. The dishes were well prepared, tasty and well balanced: you can sense the love with which they are prepared. Although we didn't have a full menu, we left fully satiated and satisfied. The atmosphere of the place is quiet, welcoming, and tastefully furnished. Furthermore, an important detail for us: we were in the company of our dog, who was welcomed with affection and naturalness, which was not at all a given. We absolutely recommend this place, both to those who follow a vegan diet and to those who want to try something healthy, tasty and made with the heart. What can I say? A wonderful surprise on our day in Verona. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back!

11/05/2025: Very quiet. Quality and abundant food. Excellent attention. Cleaning. Large, super clean bathrooms. Reasonable prices. Although it does not have a view, it has a gallery with an awning that is all perfect, where you can talk without fanfare.

23/05/2025: Nice atmosphere, decent prices and good food. At the end we received limoncello and a bag of pasta on the house. We ate on the terrace and, even though it was cool, we had a terrace heater.

22/05/2025: We stopped for lunch at this spot after visiting Castello Scaligero di Malcesine. We ate in the lower portion of the restaurant as it was pouring rain outside. We loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant, it was so unique! The menu options were varied, and the food was delicious! The service was also excellent, and very friendly staff. What we appreciated the most was the gluten-free options! When we mentioned that our daughter has Celiac Disease, they immediately understood, and took great care of her. They even brought out a separate basket of gluten free breadsticks and bread for her (they are even packaged separately, so no cross contamination). We felt very confident eating here with her Celiac Disease, which is always such a bonus. We would definitely visit again!

13/05/2025: ChatGPT recommended this place to me, and honestly, it was a fantastic tip. The appetizers at the beginning and the limoncello at the end were free. The food was great for the price. The pizza tasted fantastic. The crust was especially great. The ambiance inside was great. The ambiance outside was okay. But that's criticism at the highest level. The service was super friendly. I'll definitely be back.

03/06/2025: I ate at Da Gigi restaurant for convenience - it was right below my hotel, saving a ten-minute walk into the old town. Prices are higher than many other local restaurants but the portions are huge - I couldn’t finish my fritto misto. They provided a doggy box! It was notably busy, with a nice lively ambience. If you like pizza you can create your own toppings. Service was good, there is a lovely lakeside view from the terrace (though it is across the main road so traffic noise can be a spoiler). Especially groups of motorbikes. Nice at sunset. I paid 37 euros for a fritto misto with chips and a half litre of very pleasant house wine - 2 euros cover charge for bread.
