Osteria Caffe Amaro In Garda

During our six-day stay in Garda, we visited Caffè Amaro three time. And that says it all. Away from the tourist crowds but still in a great location, this restaurant serves authentic Italian food. The homemade pasta is outstanding and prepared with great care. We especially recommend the Ragù alla Bolognese, and the daily specials are always worth trying. The staff are friendly and attentive. Reservations are recommended, but they kindly found us a table even without one because we arrived early. Excellent value for money, and we even received a complimentary limoncello at the end. A true hidden gem and one of the best places for authentic pasta in Garda!!

I visited this restaurant at the end of March with my family. I'm a lover of typical local restaurants and trattorias with traditional cuisine. This one perfectly matches my tastes: a family atmosphere, extremely kind and helpful staff, and excellent traditional cuisine. We had a wonderful time, even with two small children. We'll definitely be back.

What a wonderful discovery in Garda! We dined in a truly welcoming setting, with attention to every detail. Everything we tasted was top-quality, from the stone-served platter of cured meats and cheeses to the tender meat accompanied by grilled polenta. The selection of wines and the presentation of the dishes confirm the great attention to detail. We were impressed by the serene atmosphere and the care taken in selecting each ingredient. It was an excellent experience that I highly recommend to anyone in the area. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and appealed to Turkish tastes. My friends and I had seafood and Rob Eye steak, and they were all excellent. The steak was cooked exactly to our liking. The staff who served us were very informative and attentive. We were also pleased with the desserts. I definitely recommend it!

A thoroughly enjoyable restaurant visit. Even the bread basket we started with was high-quality and whetted our appetites for more. For the appetizer, we had grilled mountain cheese with grilled tomatoes – a wonderfully aromatic combination. The tomatoes were intensely flavorful, the cheese pleasantly spicy, and grilled to perfection. The bigoli with leeks and salsiccia as the main course was the highlight of the evening: wonderfully creamy, perfectly balanced in flavor, and with great depth. A dish that demonstrates how good a seemingly simple combination can be. The tiramisu for dessert was classic and superbly prepared – exactly as one would wish. It was accompanied by a very good house wine and a strong espresso as the perfect finishing touch. Everything was rounded off by attentive and warm service. A restaurant where quality, hospitality, and enjoyment come together perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will gladly return.

A very charming restaurant with a unique menu. A far cry from the usual pizza and pasta. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a special culinary experience. (Don't let the traffic noise bother you; Italians like to accelerate around curves. It's all part of the charm.)
