Had a very good meal, a menu that fortunately doesn't just contain the standard dishes, very friendly service, excellent wine. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

During our stay in Garda, we decided to go to this small but exquisite osteria for dinner. The tables were very pretty, with a couple of tulips in the center, and the staff was very kind, initially guiding us through the selection of dishes and wine. We had the appetizer of the day, which included 1 beef tartare, 1 horse tartare (both recommended by the waiter, accompanied by a spicy mustard sauce)—very good; an exquisite Black Angus carpaccio (also recommended by the waiter, accompanied by a yellow tomato sauce); and a beef carpaccio (if I remember correctly) topped with shavings of kinara (truffle cheese), truly delicious. We followed with two first courses: bigoli with leek, cream, and sausage, both delicious, and mezze maniche with duck and pumpkin ragù, absolutely devastating (I've rarely tasted such a good dish). Then we finished with a second course, which we shared: a slice of horse meat, truly delicious and plentiful, all accompanied by amazing bread. While I initially said the staff was friendly, I'll now conclude by saying that the bill was €86 at the register, but they gave us a huge discount, making it €80. It was a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back if I return to Garda!

We always love returning to this Garda osteria, located slightly inland from the lakeside promenade, where you can enjoy excellent alternatives to the classic lakeside fare. It's a classic, simple, and well-maintained osteria with a lovely outdoor area overlooking the small square. This time, we chose the excellent house antipasto with local cured meats and cheeses, along with the artisanal bread. The donkey stew with polenta and the horsemeat tagliata were also exceptional. A good selection of wines and excellent, friendly service.

Superb food at a high standard. But be warned – the braised donkey with tagliatelle is pulled donkey, but very well seasoned. The same goes for the pasta appetizer with rabbit (daily special) – pulled rabbit with macaroni. The wine selection is also top-notch.

Everything was great: the service, the traditional cuisine, and the very pleasant waiters! The added bonus... they speak French!
