09/08/2024: During a hot summer day, my wife and I have found this unique restaurant/bar. The two sofas outside are inviting you to have a cold and delicious drink. The service by carlo was very friendly & professional and you will get some yummy olives as a small snack with your beverages. We had a great time and took even a second round 😉.

22/06/2024: Very nice dishes, make a reservation on time fir the evening, nice outside seating, all freshly done as you can taste it, I’m very difficult, but also very happy with the dishes

17/06/2024: Stopped by on a walk and made a reservation for that night. The food was excellent. This charming restaurant is small, so geting between tables can be a challenge. The food came out fast. In fact, we were a little surprised by how fast. However, the host was wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves.

23/08/2024: Bad environment, dark, you couldn't see what you had on the table, perhaps to disguise the fish that wasn't fresh.... High prices…. I will never go back there again

A tintahal ragos, kicsit izetlen. A hamburger egysiku, a pizza izeben a paradicsomon kivul mast nem lehetett erezni. Amugy kar, mert a hel stilusos, a pincerek segitokeszek es vendegszeretok. Csak a konyha…

11/08/2024: This restaurant redefined my standards for good Italian good. 💥 Insalata Mediterranea was heavenly. For the first time in years, my vegetarian husband ate a good lasagna outside of our home. He still talks about it. 😆 Our children got a special kids menu with the most options I’ve seen on kids menu so far and really enjoyed their food. My frito misto was a state of art. We were welcomed by the owner of the restaurant, he was very kind and really funny. The atmosphere was very warm. The service was quick, the staff was very thoughtful and polite. I am really impressed. Thank you very much, Il Gato Que ride. 💛 We will be back soon. And often. 😆

11/08/2024: Very friendly staff, good pizza. Got take-away pizza, medium beer, and consumed outside. (Stop for bike ride). Now a fixed stop when I pass through Dolo.

11/12/2023: So first about the food: It's not more than okay, but in my opinion it's very sad that I get spaghetti carbonara with ham in Italy. The pizza is good. Service: The food for six people came very staggered, the first few people were already finished before the others received their food. But it wasn't about the pizza and kitchen being extra. Bringing all the dishes to a table at the same time is part of the smallest "waiter 1x1", so that's to be expected. The staff is friendly. The ambience is bad. The tables are extremely narrow, everything is designed for crowds. The "entertainment" that there is sometimes is the biggest reason not to visit this restaurant. The plastic tables and chairs are also not very inviting and uncomfortable.

10/10/2023: Metallstück im Essen gefunden. Was soll man da dann noch weiter sagen. Leider hat sich das für uns erledigt, dieses Restaurant aufzusuchen. Es war sonst immer sehr schön, nur dieses eine mal war es absolut nicht schön. Sehr laut, da die Chefin meinte sie müsste dort eine Charaoke abhalten und dann ist das Personal auch total überlastet. Wir haben gefühlte Ewigkeiten auf die Bestellung gewartet und auch überhaupt auf einen Kellner. Nur im dann ein Stück Metall in der Soße zu finden.

28/08/2024: Everything perfect! A great success if you come to Venice. Excellent food and presentation, that spectacular homemade pepperoncino sauce... the service of the waiters was 10. We were there the night of the 27th having dinner with a group and I can't say anything more than bravo for the hospitality, kindness and good faces despite arriving late. Bravo

19/08/2024: 15% service fee, €6 for a cola, generally higher prices. Not recommended - tastes and smells like a tourist rip-off! The food was not up to the Italian standard (even the Italian in the deepest east of Germany is better!) The sauce was very oily or a finished product!

16/08/2024: Classy interior, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant just by the canal, good location. Mixed seafood antipasto was great. Recommend

13/08/2024: Had an excellent baccalà lasagna. Good bread and spicy oil and the buttered spinach. Great service. Would recommend.

21/08/2024: Good food but I didn't find anything special. The staff were welcoming, except the room which I had the impression of not being too well taken care of, starting from the atmosphere generated by the lights, up to minor details. Prices not excessive but overall I wasn't thrilled.

17/08/2024: Very good, as I told Filippo, I enjoyed eating here which is a higher level of "eaten well"! Here they nourish people's souls, attentive to the way they serve, attentive to the presentation and quality of the raw materials! I will definitely be back! 08/08/2024: Wir haben ohne Reservierung schnell einen Platz bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Jedoch als wir kein zu hohes Trinkgeld gaben, waren sie nicht mehr so freundlich. Pizza war sehr gut. Qualität passt

07/08/2024: J’y suis allé un peu méfiant vu certain très mauvais commentaires ici mais j’ai bien fait de faire confiance à la note de 2 fourchettes (sur 3) de Gambero Rosso ! Tout d’abord le cadre terrasse sur l’eau dans un coin très calme de Venise. J’avais une belle table au bord de l’eau (merci pour ça), beau service adorable en partie en français d’ailleurs. Belle carte avec beaucoup de plats qui me donnaient vraiment envie mais ça c’est personnel. En entrée des “Capesante Gazpacho e ciliege” et ensuite des “linguine verdi con brodetto di laguna, carciofi e guancette di coda di rospo brasata” enfin une pana cotta. Vous verrez les photos c’était vraiment très très bon.

03/08/2024: This place was recommended to us by the hotel where we were staying. It looks attractive on the canal but there is a boat (smaller or bigger) passing by on average every minute. This make a lot of noise and burnt fuel smell. But the reason I am giving 1 star is not even this - it is for poor quality of food and service. Some examples: waiters turning their back on you as you walk in and try to wave to get a drink, long waiting time, freshly sliced truffle with NO taste at all, the smallest fried shrimps you've seen and 4 raviolis (they were regular size!) for a dish. I could continue this list. Overall a bill of 300€ (with wine) for 4 - not worth it at all.
