18/08/2025: I stayed in this hotel from August 4 to 7 and we are delighted. We had the junior suite room for 4 people (we were two friends with our daughters aged 9 and 10) with a large double bed and a bunk bed in the entrance of the room. Just one downside concerning the bunk bed, the barrier is quite low at the top. Not suitable for young children. We put the cushions to secure it. The quadruple room is very pleasant, sufficiently spacious. Decoration both modern and baroque. Air-conditioned room. Very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with a large Italian shower. Only downside is there is no storage in the bathroom, nothing to put things on (this could be improved). There is even a small terrace with a table for 4 (very practical, we bought slices of pizza that we were able to eat there one evening before going outside to eat ice cream!). The room on the second floor with stairs. Very surmountable. The staff is lovely. The hotel is very well located, in the heart of the historic center, 100 m from the Rialto Bridge and the Rialto vaporetto stop (very convenient for reaching Venice train station). In a quiet little street. No noise, we slept very well. The breakfast is sufficient. There is a little bit of everything, sweet and savory. In short, we absolutely do not regret our choice, very good value for money and we highly recommend it. The other hotels in the area are much more expensive. The area is safe. What more could you ask for?

03/08/2025: I recently completed a three-night stay at this hotel and found it to be a good value overall. While there were a few minor issues, I would still recommend it, provided you keep a couple of things in mind. The hotel's location is excellent, though it's situated down a quiet alley that could feel a bit intimidating late at night. Inside, the staff at the reception desk were consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are nice and great-looking, but a closer look revealed a need for a deeper clean; I noticed a layer of dust when I looked under the bed. A small point, but one to mention. We also had a minor issue with housekeeping not restocking our toilet paper until we specifically requested it at the front desk. My biggest concern was with the breakfast, which was quite inconsistent and is easily skippable. The offerings seemed to change daily—some mornings there was juice and other times only water. On one occasion, there was muesli but no milk. The ham was also not of the best quality. Despite these points, the hotel offers good value for money, and nice rooms outweigh the minor inconveniences. I would recommend this hotel, but I'd suggest skipping the breakfast.

22/07/2025: Helt gjennomsiktig turistfelle.. Grei service, maten smakte godt, men entrecôten var 5mm tykk og godt gjennomstekt. En god entrecôte er 3 fingre tykk, og servere entrecôte under 2 fingre i tykkelse skulle være forbudt. Det er også helt unødvendig å spørre om du vil ha den medium stekt, når den er 5mm tykk. Den er uansett gjennomstekt når den treffer grillen.

20/07/2025: Sono stata nel 2022 pagato una follia 90€ antipasto due granseole e un filetto di branzino con una bottiglia di acqua naturale. Servizio lento e mal curato.

10/08/2025: Took advice for best Chiccetti and this did not disappoint! Had a great selection, choose from the many available from the friendly staff at the bar, good beer, pay and take your food to a table! Loved it!

18/07/2025: Die Pizza war sehr gut, das Schweinesteak war gut und der Wein war sehr gut. Service war auch gut. Empfehlenswert. Ggf. muss man etwas Schlange stehen, scheint beliebt zu sein.

16/07/2025: Cena in famiglia in questo ristorante trovato per caso, ma che si è rivelato una bella scoperta. Abbiamo assaggiato primi e secondi, buoni e abbondanti. La pizza, non assaggiata, aveva un bell’aspetto e ci ha invogliato a pensare di tornare per provarla. Sebbene il ristorante fosse molto pieno la cucina ha lavorato in fretta, minimizzando l’attesa, e soprattutto i piatti sono arrivati a tutti i commensali nello stesso momento anche se attribuiti a partite di cucina differenti. Anche il prezzo ci è sembrato molto interessante.

01/06/2025: Se volete una vista mozzafiato sulla laguna, se siete amanti del pesce in tutte le sue forme e siete in gita a pellestrina, non potete non andare da celeste. Intanto la Cordialità, disponibilità del personale, oltre al servizio impeccabile. Attenzione ai dettagli, perfetti i tempi di servizio oltre che ai consigli sui piatti e i fuori. Il menù variegato ma non esagerato, attento a valorizzare anche il pesce del territorio. Ho provato la crudite come antipasto (una meraviglia al palato), ed un primo di spaghetti alla granceola, gustosissimo. Per finire un'ottima frittura, delicata, perfetta nella panatura, il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino. Il zuccotto come dessert ha chiuso in modo ineccepibile la cena. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima, considerando che si mangia pesce di alto livello. lasciate perdere le persone che scrivono recensioni negative perché non hanno capito proprio niente di questo ristorante e tantomeno della qualità del cibo. Ci torneremo presto sicuramente ! Fantastici!!

22/05/2025: Fuimos por una calle trasera ya que queríamos encontrar un lugar tranquilo. Vimos pegatinas de consejero de viaje en la ventana y pensamos, esto será bueno. ¡Nos equivocamos! Tenemos comida de su menú mixto. Mi mamá empezó a venir y la mía no. Entonces mi entrante vino a mi plato con mi principal. Estoy seguro de que esto era para que pareciera más grande. Mi mamá pollo vino plano como una tortita y no sabía a pollo. A un lado estaba un poco vegetariano. La pasta de marisco que tenía estaba húmeda y algo que no querrías comer. Cuando me acerqué al personal para decir que esta comida no es agradable se volvieron muy groseros y nos culparon por no gustarnos. No se preocupan por sus clientes, solo quieren tu dinero. Muy mal servicio. El peor restaurante y servicio que he tenido en Venecia: el gerente fue el peor y fue extremadamente irrespetuoso. Este es nuestro último día en Venecia y nos lo ha arruinado. Extremadamente mala experiencia. Mis madres muy molestas por haber tenido este restaurante como su última comida.

12/05/2025: Hemos estado en Osteria ae Sconte cuatro veces durante siete años. Nunca ha dejado de complacernos. Encontramos los ingredientes siempre frescos, las porciones justas y los lados muy buenos. El servicio es amable y conocedor. No hemos esperado demasiado tiempo para nada y se le avisará si hay una espera debido al tiempo de cocción o preparación. Esto se debe a que se cocina recién hecho para usted y no solo caliente. Los postres también eran buenos. El café perfecto y el precio razonable en general

14/06/2025: Al estar en un destino turístico, no esperaba comida fantástica, pero lo que llegó fue ciertamente malo. But… . . El mayor problema era que ellos trataban de poner una taza de café en mi factura que no debería estar allí Querían cobrarme 5€. 00 para un expreso, y cuando señalé que no debería estar ahí en la factura, incluso trataron de discutir conmigo y continuaron tratando de hacerme pagar. Es un truco antiguo, pero desearía que dejaran de robar a los clientes.

10/06/2025: Excelente comida, lo visitamos en familia, el precio fue similar a otro restaurant en Giudecca pero la comida valió la pena el precio, pagamos 110 euros por 3 menues, con postre y vino, cerveza, shot de lemoncello de regalo. Al pie del Rialto, cenar adentro o afuera, en un ambiente familiar después de un largo día, merece la visita.

26/08/2025: An excellent experience! We were welcomed like royalty by Sam! No service charge here, the food was delicious, and we came back for happy hour a few days later! A huge thank you to Sam and the entire team for their service and kindness!! We will be back again!!

23/08/2025: We were here for dinner at the beginning of August 2025. After sunset, we went looking for a cozy yet affordable restaurant for dinner. By Venetian standards, we found what we were looking for at "Osteria alla bandiera." If there's one thing we can highlight here, it's the impressively friendly and cheerful service staff. The food was good and it was a lovely end to an exciting day in Venice!

18/08/2025: This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in Venice. When I tried to pay, the staff told me the first transaction didn’t go through and pressured me to pay again. Trusting them, I did – only to later discover that BOTH payments went through. When I contacted the restaurant and asked for my money back, they completely ignored me. I called, I emailed – no response, no refund. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Tourists, please be careful – this place takes advantage of people and does not act honestly. I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant altogether.

12/08/2025: I bought a croissant and asked for a glass of water. The glass of water was refused and I was asked to buy a plastic bottle.

16/07/2025: Ok so lovely surroundings and friendly staff but some aspects of the food were disappointing. .pizzas and pasta were OK but once we moved into meats ..disappointment ..plastic weiner schnitzel that was prefrozen . Chips soggy and not cooked in a deep fat fryer and condiments out of plastic sachets. All a bit plastic... Size of bill reflected the setting rather than the quality of food.

21/06/2025: Location molto deludente e ci sono tantissimi moscerini. Si mangia da dio!! É tutto buono!! I gelati non buoni soprattutto il sorbetto che é amaro!!!!

13/06/2025: This is the kind of restaurant where the locals eat. It appeared the staff knew their diners and treated all guests respectfully. It was recommended to us by numerous locals for its truly great Italian food. We walked in when it opened and it was full within a half of an hour. It's off the beaten path in an alley but well worth it. The food was fantastic and the service was great.
