13/04/2025: We ate an excellent mixed fish starter accompanied by freshly made bread and a good prosecco. Very tasty fresh fish

13/04/2025: I’m not sure why this place has a reasonable rating because our food was not very good. Watery lasagna in Italy is such a crime. Worse, the service was poor. We waited half an hour to pay after asking twice (in English and Italian) and eventually were given a weird run-around where we had to go to multiple locations for them to try to run our card. A rare bad experience in Italy for us.

09/04/2025: The kitchen got our order wrong. They took the incorrect meal away and we had to wait 20 minutes for the correct one. By which time I had eaten mine! When the bill came up there wasn’t even an apology. The head waiter just said could we leave a good google review for him!

02/03/2025: Location perfetta curata e pulita , personale molto disponibile . Servizio veloce ed impeccabile . Abbiamo cenato in 11 , abbiamo prenotato al secondo turno, ore 21. Il locale era perfettamente in ordine accogliente e pulito . Servizio veloce ed attento , pizza eccezionale, leggera , puoi scegliere tra impasto normale o integrale , le pizze special davvero gustose ,prodotti di ottima qualità cottura perfetta. Il titolare attento e simpatico ed è stato piacevole fermarsi a chiacchierare con lui! Ci torneremo presto anche in famiglia ! Complimenti , continuate così !

26/03/2025: I approached the shop initially thinking I would grab just a sandwich and a coffee from the bar, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover a lovely self-service restaurant located above. Thankfully, it was easy to reach, with both stairs and a lift available for access. The menu offered a wonderful variety of choices, and I opted for the fixed menu, which turned out to be a great decision. The atmosphere was bustling with business professionals taking a break for lunch, but it wasn't too crowded, allowing me to find a seat without any hassle. The food was truly excellent, and the service was not only polite but also exceptionally attentive. It felt like a warm and welcoming place to take a moment for myself amidst a busy day.

06/04/2025: On a cold and windy Sunday afternoon in April, we found this delightful oasis... an elegant and welcoming environment with an enveloping atmosphere... very kind, smiling and competent waiters, very clean bathrooms... and tasty, original dishes... with combinations with a captivating harmony... even the outdoor terrace at the foot of the tower is truly a gem... in short, we left when the weather had even changed in the gardens of Castelfranco!! Thanks Antico Girone! 😍

04/04/2025: We went to Antico Girone for dinner and the experience was really positive. The place has a welcoming atmosphere, the kind that immediately puts you at ease, without too many frills but with taste. The food? Good, well cared for and with quality raw materials. Simple dishes but done properly, those that don't try to amaze with special effects but with flavour. And they succeed. The staff? Friendly and helpful, present without being intrusive. A service that makes you feel looked after but in total relaxation, which is not always a given. In summary: a restaurant where you eat well and feel good. Worth keeping in mind for a quiet and pleasant evening. Passed with full marks.

17/04/2025: Una frittura di pesce praticamente immangiabile dal troppo unto di olio di cui era avvolta .. Non sono un cuoco di professione ma so fare una frittura.. forse olio vecchio ,forse non caldo a sufficienza.. il risultato è stato pessimo. Gentile la cameriera che mi ha pure chiesto come mai non la avevo mangiata e che lo avrebbe segnalato alla cucina (a parte due moeche buone ) ma è finita lì . Proprietario e cuoco non pervenuti !! Il locale e frequentato prevalentemente da stranieri e immagino tedeschi . ( ..le scritte all’ ingresso sono solo in tedesco) . Pensavo che con la quantità si ponesse attenzione anche alla qualità. Purtroppo ,oggi, per me non è stato così ! Magari è stato un caso . Certamente non ci tornerei o lo consiglierei.

14/04/2025: Wir waren als Familie dort und haben außergewöhnlich gut gegessen. 1x Granchio, 1x Cozze a la marinara, 1xbraciola di maiale, Gnocchetti ai formaggi, Pizza Margherita. Sohn meinte beste Pizza die er je gegessen hat, granchio und cozze sind ein lukullischer Traum, die braciola einfach nur super, die Gnochetti bombastisch. 1 grosses Bier 1/2 Liter Vino Frizzante und Acqua, 2 espresso, 1 tiramisu, auch top. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen, da alles stimmt , die Frische die Qualität, der Service und der Preis. KEIN EXTRA COPERTO SUPER. Da gibt man auch gerne Trinkgeld, da man mit allem sehr zufrieden ist. Für uns ganz klar, absolute Empfehlung.

Well-trained and friendly waiters, excellent cuisine (my gluten-free penne with rabbit meat was special) and the place, as already noted by others, is welcoming. I apologize for not leaving a tip, which was well deserved. But there will be an opportunity. Well done and keep going!

15/10/2024: Excellent quality and quantity, fast service even though it was a little crowded. We went for lunch and they hadn't booked but they let us sit anyway. In the evening, however, I would recommend making a reservation because we have seen that there is a queue. There is a high chair for children and a fairly large table available.
