14/02/2026: A highly renowned restaurant in Bassano del Grappa, located just outside the city center and nestled within the old city walls. There were two of us, and we ate wonderfully. The food was super fresh and delicious. We were truly surprised by the appetizers, with a selection specially selected to showcase the local area. We'll definitely be back!

12/02/2026: The online menu evidently hadn't been updated in months, so we settled for sampling what was offered instead of finding and trying the published menu. The mixed antipasto offered several rather tasteless and probably old appetizers, which we finished out of hunger. I couldn't finish the creamed cod; it was truly mediocre. We continued with two first courses, one of which was okay but the other was nothing special. The service was a bit sloppy. A shame.

25/01/2026: A very quaint and original restaurant in Sarmeola. Although it's not large, there are several tables for dining in. The cuisine is traditional and regional, with high-quality ingredients (generous portions and the option of halving portions on some dishes) for both savory and sweet dishes. The young, friendly, and welcoming staff are excellent.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

16/12/2025: I wish I could review the food but we haven’t had the chance to experience that. As one other review mentioned, we came into the empty restaurant with the hostess saying: we are full. As you can see on the photo, no one was at the restaurant. While she was saying they are full, a local worker walked right beside us and was seated by the same woman who said they are full. Owner reacting to the other review mentioning the same thing saying if you show up 6:45pm or 7pm restaurant is empty because reservations don’t start until 7:30pm is a completely ridiculous lie. This area is not populated enough for the restaurant to be completely booked at any time, and if all the people have reservations at 7:30pm and you show up at 6:45pm then maybe just maybe you have 45 minutes to eat instead of being denied service. This place seems to be only for locals and local workers and they don’t seem to like tourists. Stay away, but that’s probably what they want anyways.

29/11/2025: A very welcoming place, well-kept and clean, excellent and well-cooked food, friendly and polite service, from the outside it looks like a trattoria like many others, but when you enter, you are left speechless, I recommend it to everyone, I am sure you will not be disappointed

The menu offers fresh fish, meat, and well-prepared pizzas, offering good value for money considering the location. The staff is friendly and attentive. Ideal for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking views.

01/03/2026: A quaint restaurant in the center of Verona where we truly enjoyed ourselves!!! The risotto with Amarone and truffle was excellent, creamy, with perfectly balanced flavors. The horse steak melted in your mouth with a delicious truffle sauce!!! All washed down with a fabulous glass of Amarone. We were amazed! 10 out of 10

This family dynamic is something truly special: The owner's personality – her warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for hospitality – is palpable throughout the entire service. This is exactly what hospitality feels like, as you know it from old Italy, or simply as it should be: warm, attentive, and utterly professional. Another major highlight is the ambiance: The restaurant is situated on a hill and offers a breathtaking view over all of Verona. Especially in the evening, a magical atmosphere unfolds – the city lights, the view over the rooftops, and the tranquility on the terrace are simply beautiful. The sunsets are spectacular and make every visit a special experience. For tourists, this view is an absolute must-see. The highlight for us was definitely the New Year's Eve dinner we were fortunate enough to enjoy there. 07/01/2026: We visited this wonderful restaurant on the evening of December 31st. It's a charming place with a breathtaking view of the city. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable; the staff was professional and friendly. Ms. Giuliana's hospitality was truly commendable (we had a guest with allergies, and she went out of her way to ensure his menu was complete and delicious). We were served by Rachele, a delightful, friendly, and super professional woman. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

16/02/2026: Glad we went in there on the last night as we literally stayed next door. In hindsight we should have done it the first night and come back as walking around was not improving the experience. This as not one of these 'in your face' places trying to get you in the door. But they fill up pretty quick anyway and are very efficient in service without being pushy at all. Very professionally managed. The food and wine was very solid and local. A typical Osteria menu with all the things you can expect. Nothing fancy but great quality and very speedy delivery. The wine list also what you would expect for a local Osteria. Not sure why they put the local Malvasia last on the list. It worked obviously and went extremely well with both entree (the sardines were awesome) and the mains. We ended up staying and having some Tiramisu which my expert partner rated as absolutely top class. The friendly local on the next table told us it is the only place like this owned by local venetians. I can thoroughly agree - support the locals! I don't think you will regret it...
