16/05/2026: A treat in the center of Gubbio. We ate excellent food in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful; they even went to get us gloves because it was pouring with rain and we were on our motorcycles. If you want to eat well in a peaceful setting, this is the place.

14/05/2026: This welcoming restaurant is located in the historic center of a tiny village near Bevagna: Torre del Colle. The restaurant is housed in ancient rooms with large brick arches and wooden vaulted ceilings. It's charming. In one of these rooms, where tables are also set up, the kitchen opens up to a full view, where two undeniably talented chefs are at work, and you can watch them prepare the various courses. There's also an interesting wine display along the walls. You're greeted by the wait staff with smiles, kindness, and attentiveness—three important qualities that have become rare in large cities. The menu focuses primarily on seasonal products, fundamental elements of our culinary tradition. It's extremely difficult to recommend one dish over another, as they're all top-notch. In fact, you're spoiled for choice, thanks in part to the two chefs' interesting interpretations. The cheese puffs and the onion gratin with truffle are just a few of the appetizers to mention; Tagliatelle with asparagus and speck, and fusilli with white pork ragù and truffle, for the first courses; goat's cheese mousse with coccole and agretti, and the excellent meats, for the second courses. The wine cellar offers a significant number of excellent labels. To feel completely satisfied, you need to return several times to be sure of a good meal. Kudos to all the staff who run this restaurant. Finally, it's worth noting that the quality-price ratio is excellent.

26/04/2026: After our pilgrimage in Assisi, we went here for lunch. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming us warmly and helpfully (almost like volunteers, with all the heart they put into it!). The torta al testo was simply delicious, fragrant, and rich in flavor. We also tried the San Francesco (or local) craft beer: truly strong and full of character, perfect for those who love bold flavors. A place I highly recommend to all pilgrims! Thank you so much, Alessandro and Luisa, you were special.

24/04/2026: During a trip to Assisi with the Diocese of Rome, I went here to get an exceptional—I can now say—sandwich with wild boar ham and olive oil. Simple, good, exactly what I was looking for. A little pricey, perhaps, but there aren't even any supermarkets here in Assisi, so it's not surprising. My friends were able to wait outside without getting impatient; in fact, in no time, my sandwich was ready to be enjoyed. Excellent, highly recommended!!!

02/06/2026: As my partner and I strolled through the streets of Assisi, following our route from one church to the next, we were literally drawn in by the aromas wafting from the kitchens of this little restaurant. It didn't take long to convince us: we booked, and a couple of hours later, we were seated. In our opinion, it was the best culinary experience we've had in the Assisi-Perugia area. The homemade pasta was exceptionally good: the strangozzi alla norcina was truly memorable, and the pesto in my partner's pasta was truly exceptional. Everything was made with top-quality ingredients, and you could taste it! Not to mention the guinea fowl cooked in a pot, the frittatina with local vegetables, etc. This restaurant is proof that even in a place like Assisi that easily risks becoming too touristy, there are still places capable of giving you the true flavor of tradition. The only downside? ...which isn't near Rome... otherwise we'd return much more often :-) Highly recommended!

29/04/2026: UNIQUE!!!!! Finally, a REAL Italian Trattoria. 1. Food 5 stars + 2. Prices more than reasonable. CHEAP for Perugia! 3. The waiter is PROFESSIONAL. 4. The owner shows genuine and natural interest. BRAVO! A rare find these days. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

14/06/2026: I dined there for the first time, and it lived up to our expectations. It was recommended to me by a neighbor I'd met by chance at another restaurant years ago. Julio is famous for his meat, and I can attest to that. I had an off-menu asado (recommended by the talented waitress) and an entrecôte: both were excellent. If you love grilled meat, this is a place you absolutely must try: you'll definitely be back!

16/05/2026: Had an outstanding dining experience at Trattoria Pallot. Our reservation (recommended) was 7:30; we were warmly greeted and seated in the lovely interior and atmosphere. This is noted as a slow food experience, so we weren't in a rush! Our table of 4 ordered; Chicken Mediterranean (on special), ravioli with artichoke, 'cod' meatballs, and sausage with caramelized onion. All absolutely delicious. Half carafaes of the house red and white wines completed our meals perfectly. Plus desserts. We would absolutely recommend this establishment when visiting Assisi.

16/05/2026: The food was good and unpretentious, I'd say honest. The atmosphere was nice and refined, perfect for a quiet dinner. The service, however, was rather slow: over 25 minutes passed from when we were seated to when we could order, and in the meantime, tables that arrived after us were served. This is an area that needs improvement in terms of organization and professionalism. The owner, however, was very kind and friendly.

14/04/2026: This very characteristic restaurant is located in the center of Deruta. It has outdoor seating and several indoor rooms. The tables and dishes are from the Domiziani company, very distinctive and colorful. The "bucco" is high-quality, and the carbonara with truffles is worth it. Fast and competent service. The prices are average.

24/10/2025: It's the fourth time I've been there and as far as quality and service are concerned, there's nothing to complain about, just that (at least for my pockets) I can't afford it... spending €103.00 for 4 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 desserts and 1 coffee makes me think that it has become a place suitable for people with higher incomes than mine💁‍♂️

01/06/2026: An addictive experience. The best pepper steak is served with pan-fried potatoes and braised onions, accompanied by water, a sip of Prosecco, and an amuse-bouche. The meal is rounded off with a half-liter of wine and a dessert that is simply divine. Absolutely delicious. Anyone who visits Lake Trasimeno and doesn't eat there is missing out on a slice of heaven.

07/05/2026: Lovely location and decor, shame about the really slow and unproactive service. Every time we go we wait at least half an hour even just for a drink, and even more for food, shame.

13/04/2026: A rustic restaurant in true Umbrian style, with a simple menu but tasty, authentic dishes. The tagliatelle are excellent. I'll be back to try the chicken fricó. The house wine is drinkable and pleasant. Special mention goes to the young waiter, who was polite and quick. Recommended!
