20/08/2025: Located on the edge of Foligno's historic center, strategically located so you don't enter the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), yet a 10-minute walk to the city center and a 5-minute drive to the main road junctions for other towns. Pet-friendly hotel, with final sanitization for €10. Quiet and well-insulated rooms. Elevator to upper rooms. Excellent restaurant serving Umbrian dishes. Every area is immaculately clean, from the rooms to the reception, from the breakfast room to the TV room. Extremely friendly and professional staff in every area. Public paid parking is available on the adjacent street, with a maximum rate of €6.15 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, then free. The building and rooms are classically designed, yet functional. Bathrooms have a bidet and generously sized shower. Breakfast offers a wide variety of pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, and more. In front of the hotel, in addition to the public parking, you can stroll along the walls of the historic center alongside the river. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: Extraordinary restaurant with a breathtaking view. Every dish that we have ordered was simply amazing and one of a kind. The waitress was constantly smiling, you could feel that they pour their heart and soul into this place. Essence of the Italy.

07/09/2025: Super delicious food and impeccable service. A wide selection of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is located on a small hill with beautiful views of the countryside. We will definitely return and can recommend the restaurant to anyone vacationing in the area.

28/09/2025: The best torta al testo in Assisi! Excellent quality ingredients, and one of the best torta al testo I've ever eaten. Fair prices, and friendly and welcoming owners who are committed to maintaining the high quality of their products. Definitely not to be missed.

28/09/2025: We had dinner last night at this truly elegant, quiet, and charming restaurant, steeped in history. Numerous documents and signatures of various actors and famous people who have graced this historic venue. The staff were exquisite, kind, and had old-fashioned manners. Absolutely delightful. The restaurant was quiet, and the food was excellent. We had two starters: gnocchi and pheasant-filled ravioli. A true spectacle. Their chocolate cake was also excellent. We highly recommend it. Well done 👏

05/10/2025: A hidden gem in Orvieto. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our 1st evening in Orvieto. We did no have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us at one of their outdoor tables. Which was perfect for us. The service was excellent. The food and wine were delicious. We will definitely go back next time we are in Orvieto.

15/09/2025: Restaurant in the historic center of Gubbio. Very traditional menu. Excellent, generous dishes at a reasonable price. For two of us, we paid €45 each for one appetizer, one first course, two truffle-flavored second courses, two desserts, and one bottle of wine. Everything was excellent, including the truly professional service.

15/09/2025: I went today at 12:30, without a reservation. But it's Monday. I don't know about other days. We ate a platter from Picchio. Cured meats, bruschetta, and fried vegetables. I found the ingredients to be very high quality. Two first courses: cappellacci with pears and walnuts, and agnolotti with braised meat. Both were good. The portions are generous. Water, 1/4 cup of fragrant and aromatic white wine, and 1 coffee. 50 euros well spent. The cover charge is cloth. The service is fast and courteous. Luckily for me, the atmosphere is friendly and light. There's no need to boast to make good food. Gubbio is worth seeing, and worth eating. Well done.

15/09/2025: We were really disappointed by Serpillo after it being recommended by a local. The cooking was inconsistent, especially the steaks we ordered. And overall the entire group of us agreed it was not high quality. The courses also came in a very strange order, with some guests getting starters and other receiving their main courses at the same time, it was strange overall and we didn’t have this experience anywhere else in Umbria.

28/08/2025: We just had lunch at this restaurant and found the food excellent. The dishes were tasty and plentiful. We had strozza preti pasta with truffles and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms. For main courses, we had pork tenderloin with balsamic vinegar and sliced ​​beef with arugula and cherry tomatoes. Two decent tiramisu dishes. The staff was polite and friendly. The price was reasonable.

27/09/2025: My girlfriend and I stopped by for a late lunch, not knowing what to expect. The food we received was beyond exceptional. I had the Fusili Ragu, her the Wild Boar. We are going back again for the ragu, which is cooked for 16-18 hours from what we were told. The owner Simone was also very kind to us. Highly recommend!

15/09/2025: Had the wild boar pappardelle and tiramisu. One of my favorite meals ever. The service was flawless, the servers excellent and friendly, and the outdoor seating was magical. Had the place practically to ourselves on a Monday night in early September. We made a reservation, although it likely wasn’t necessary on this particular night.

11/09/2025: Found it by chance while visiting Orvieto. Had lunch in the outdoor area, which is very quiet and not too busy. Friendly and helpful staff. The Umbrichelli cacio e pepe are phenomenal. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: Il Pellicano has been a regular stop when I visit my sister in Umbria since 1998. When I was younger, I'd stop in for sandwiches and a beer; now I use it to pick up a delicious takeout pizza. The dough is well-made, well-risen (so much so that you won't wake up thirsty the next day), and the wide selection of flavors is worth trying. Recommended for anyone passing through the San Faticchio area and surrounding towns.

18/08/2025: We had dinner at Pellicano and, in addition to the generous portions, we were served by very friendly staff. The burgers and pizzas were excellent. Prices were average. I recommend it!

28/09/2025: Happy happy Umbrian happiness This little place in the tiny town of tuoro is about as classic Umbrian as they come. Good/rustic food, excellent service, and all the classics. You could really do far far worse….
