31/08/2024: Both the place and the service are exquisite, not to mention the food, all the dishes we ordered were spectacular in flavor. The proximity product is noticeable. It's worth the price you pay. Try to arrive at sunset time, the views are beautiful.

10/11/2024: Recommended to us by locals. We were passing through and didn't want to dine in a place with tourist menus. No sooner said than done! A pleasant surprise for more than one reason. Owner/staff Alessandra and Laura are very competent and have very clear ideas about customer expectations, Umbrian kindness and courtesy, exhaustive explanations of the dishes that make us regret having just one dinner (we only stayed one night). Raw materials of excellent quality and impeccable workmanship with rigorous respect for tradition I imagine. Definitely superior result without any space for observations regarding cooking and cooking processes. Every request treated with wide availability. In detail: we had two masterfully cooked first courses of exceptional flavor (egg tagliolini with black summer truffle and other pasta with rocket sausage sauce etc.) with homemade pasta. The plate of typical cured meats and cheeses is excellent. Two simple but also very good side dishes (sautéed chicory and mushrooms). Very high quality/price ratio. Too bad we can't come back soon to taste the entire menu that the very nice Laura illustrated to us with expert accuracy. 20/12/2024: We have chosen to spend the fiftieth anniversary of the family business together with our employees. The evening was very pleasant, the menu was original and suitable for all needs (celiacs and vegans), the dining room staff were kind and professional. Thanks from all of us.

16/12/2024: High-class tavern, with slowfood dishes, we took a platter of cured meats and cheeses and really good mister bruschetta, then baked lamb with summer truffle, good flavor but I would have liked it crunchier, it almost seemed boiled. We also had stew with wine which was good but not excellent. The owner let us taste some truly superlative new oil. As a dessert, fresh ricotta served with chocolate, caramel and honey, top marks, all washed down with a truly delicious Sagrantino wine. The two owners are really friendly, I recommend it if you pass through Todi.

26/08/2024: We had lunch outside, under a well-kept canopy with an inviting atmosphere, but I could also see the inside, well furnished and elegant. Efficient service (especially from the two owner brothers). There are different tasting menu options: you can choose the courses or rely on them, with the option of a menu entirely based on truffles or without. I found the starter delicious, fresh ingredients and particular combinations. The first and second courses were no different either. Very honest prices also considering that these were truffle-based dishes (and it was present in large quantities). Wear not minimal at all, on the contrary!

09/12/2024: I can only speak highly of this restaurant. I organized a lunch with my colleagues for a day dear to us. When I asked for availability for Saturday lunch, I hadn't read that they were closed. The manager was so helpful and kind that he opened the restaurant for us for that occasion. During the organization phase, he proposed me a complete menu of starter, 2 first courses, 2 second courses with side dishes, dessert, wine, water, coffee as well as the menu for the children present. Everything was really delicious, so much so that many of us had an encore of everything. We were a nice group and the service was impeccable, we were all served together, no one had to wait and the times between one meal and another were perfect.

01/12/2024: I found myself in that place visiting relatives, recommended by them we booked, According to them in the summer period it is great, but in the winter period they are a bit sinful, fettuccine with mushrooms disappointing too far ahead cooking watery mushrooms definitely frozen, portion of vegetables meager for the cost, service to improve. I will return to see if it has improved.

27/11/2024: Obligatory premise: the writer is 180 cm tall and weighs 120 kg and has no allergies other than fasting... so I speak from full knowledge of the facts.... An apparently anonymous restaurant from the outside it appears very similar to many restaurants in the area where typical local cuisine is offered, sometimes good and sometimes less so, but entering Bottaccione opens up a different world. Inside there is a small but extremely welcoming place, few frills but a lot of substance. The service is excellent and the cuisine is nothing short of amazing, I'm certainly not going to recommend particular dishes because the menu is constantly changing and tastes are extremely subjective but what we ate... and we ate a lot.... it was all delicious from the appetizers to the wine in the carafe... upon leaving I couldn't help but hug and thank the lady in the kitchen. Last surprise, the truly competitive price alone makes it worth driving a few extra kilometers.

25/11/2024: Prezzi alti e porzioni scarse. Usciti dal ristorante abbiam dovuto cercarne un altro dato che avevamo ancora appetito!

04/09/2024: Recensione che devo suddividere in due parti quella culinaria e quella legata all'accoglienza. Sulla parte della cucina, dei piatti, del servizio e dell'impiattamento nulla da eccepire tutto molto buono. I piatti erano ben preparati e piacevoli alla vista. Molto attento e presente l'addetto ai tavoli. Per la parte relativa all'accoglienza vorrei riprovarci e tornare con atmosfera pià distesa......Pur segnalando che avevamo una bimba di 3.5 anni, alla vista il proprietario mi pareva un po' sul chi va là come se avesse paura che capitasse chissà cosa. Prontamente abbiamo spostato i bei porta posate in ceramica, spostato il bicchiere della bambina e distanziato la lampadina da tavolo perchè sì, purtroppo a volte risulta difficile mantenere la vivacità dei bambini ma uno lo sa e cerca di gestire il tutto. Diciamo che a volte un sorriso basterebbe nel stemperare la tensione che purtroppo a me un po' ha condizionato. Ci tornerò volentieri per avere anche modo di scambiare due parole parole che venivano riservate solo ai tavoli dei clienti affezzionati. Regaliamoci un sorriso reciproco e una bella stretta di mano la prossima volta :)

17/11/2024: Besöket var en förvånande och mycket positiv upplevelse. Vi visste inte mer än att det sammanfattade betyget var högt i recensioner. Miljön är mycket speciell. Väggarna är fulla av bilder och saker. I bakgrunden hörs italiensk musik från 30-40-talet. Ägaren som troligen är den som satt sin prägel på lokalen är mycket vänlig. Maten är rustik och jättegod. Vi åt gratinerad selleri och pasta med svamp och bacon. Vi tyckte om allt, till och med ljudet från den gnisslande dörren när värden hämtade maten från köket som låg i lokalen bredvid. Ett toppenställe som gjorde oss glada.

13/11/2024: Tutto eccezionale dagli antipasti ai dolci, poi il grande Micheluzzu come guest star. Primi gustosissimi e rapporto qualità prezzo più che ottimo . Tappa fissa!!
