02/03/2026: Everything exceeded my expectations. The spa area, breakfast, room, tea-coffee-cake buffet, staff, location—everything was simply excellent, welcoming, varied, and simply fantastic.

28/02/2026: Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Since the buffet and the seating area are a bit apart, some back and forth walking is needed until you can actually start with your breakfast. Cake and coffee in the afternoon is a really nice add-on. Drinks at the bar are overpriced, though.

07/02/2026: Lodging in a B&B you have to look for a place to eat at night every day. Selva is loaded with pizzeria-restaurants and I save my review for the most pleasant one we encountered. Especially atmosphere and staff made the day. We had good bruschetta, nice mezzalune and acceptable fettuccini. There is a surprisingly long wine list. Reservation necessary!

29/01/2026: Probably the best pizzeria in Wolkenstein. Great food, great service, etc. Since the drinks were served a little late, the owner offered us two excellent grappas. We'll be back.

07/03/2026: A family-run trattoria where the food is excellent (reservations are required, as there are only a few tables). Traditional cuisine, generous portions (even the wines by the glass). Superb dumplings, delicious venison fillet with Lagrein. The desserts are also exquisite, made by the owner. Thank you for two wonderful dinners and evenings spent in your restaurant, where we felt at home.

01/02/2026: Terrible experience. I booked two weeks in advance, and once I arrived at the exact time, the "lady" told me I hadn't called and asked me to show her the phone call. Once she showed it, she said, "I'm sure I didn't," and she wanted to be right. I told her that if she said no, I'd book somewhere else and nothing. Terrible experience. I'll never go there again. P.S. Thank goodness there are waiters who save the owner's bad attitude. The waiters are truly TOP. I'm sorry the waiter came to the table and asked me to remove the review when we live in a democratic country. If the owner had shown her face, I would have considered it. You have to know how to accept criticism that helps you improve, not just compliments.

01/02/2026: Terrible experience. The receptionist was decidedly unfriendly and incapable of admitting a mistake regarding the reservation we had made well in advance. She even insinuated that we had somehow made a mistake, even after having shown her, at her request, the phone's call log. Furthermore, after waiting 15 minutes outside in the cold with a disabled woman due to the lack of a ramp at the entrance (one was only located at the back), and the door opening being one-way. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

08/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Rössl Bianco B&B in Merano. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and charmingly furnished. We especially enjoyed the generous breakfast with fresh, regional products – a perfect start to the day. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful; you immediately feel welcome. The location is also ideal for exploring Merano and the surrounding area. We would love to come back and highly recommend this B&B! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

07/02/2026: A wonderful experience. The location is very elegant, set in a beautiful period building. The food is delicious and fresh. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and quick, with truly pleasant and polite manners. A lovely place to return to and highly recommend. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: A super cozy and family-friendly restaurant; we'll definitely be back next time we're in Ortisei! We enjoyed the pasta, burger, and venison ragout; they have a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The experience was topped off by the super friendly staff and their excellent service! We didn't have a reservation, but a table was set up for us right away... in short, I can only say positive things about this restaurant. 😋 If you're feeling up to it, you can even take a dip in the adjacent pool afterward.😁🏊‍♀️

The view is simply incredible, and the entire atmosphere is truly special. Brigitte, the owner, provided us with excellent support from the very beginning – always friendly, professional, and highly experienced. The pre-planning process was absolutely seamless, and we always felt we were in good hands. A huge thank you also to her entire team: attentive, warm, and incredibly well-organized. The service on our wedding day was top-notch, and the food was simply amazing – we received nothing but rave reviews from our guests. Overall, a truly perfect location. 07/03/2026: First of all: make a reservation – seats on the terrace and in the front, semi-open area are very popular and subject to reservation. The Nußbaumer thrives on its location, the charming staff, and the fresh cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is highly recommended! Let Moritz guide you through the wine selection – he can tell you a lot about the local wineries because he knows them personally. Also, head to the heart of the Nußbaumer – the wine shelves have much more than what's on the menu. Treat yourself to more than just a pizza and a glass of house wine. It's worth it!

26/01/2026: I visited Hoamat last Friday and tried their "all you can eat Knödel" event – where you get to try a variety of savory and sweet knödel. It was a wonderful experience for anyone who loves trying new things. The food was truly excellent, and the service was impeccable, with very helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant is beautifully designed with attention to every detail, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! P.S. Another bonus for me as an Italian: the coffee. Since living outside Italy, it's always difficult to find good coffee, and this one pleasantly surprised me.

24/01/2026: Hoamat is simply a wonderful place to feel at home. Beautiful location, cozy ambiance, and an atmosphere that instantly slows you down. You can feel the attention to detail and genuine hospitality everywhere you go. Perfect for escaping everyday life and enjoying nature. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back. 06/03/2026: A beautiful refuge located in a perfect spot for a stop... IT'S A MUST, from breakfast to TUESDAY DINNER🍖! 2000 meters of cuddles between kittens and top-notch staff... I highly recommend stopping by!

08/03/2026: Last Tuesday, we wanted to celebrate just the two of us. It was meant to be something special, and it certainly was! The waiters were very attentive yet unobtrusive. The wine recommendation was perfect for our tastes. And then the food... I won't even describe it here; you have to experience it for yourself. It was a wonderful evening all around. Even our dog was welcome and thoroughly spoiled. The only downside: you need a well-filled wallet. 😉 But it was worth every penny! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.
