03/05/2025: FANTASTIC. I can hardly contain myself because of my excitement. Small restaurant in Barga with many truffle dishes at very fair prices.

25/04/2025: We were there last night. The service is excellent, the dishes are refined and well cooked. Their specialty is truffles but they have a series of unique and particular choices. The place is beautiful, well-kept and I think the screen in the room which shows the cooking in real time is an excellent idea. Absolutely worth trying and trying again. P.s. Barga, for those who don't know it, is enchanting.

22/05/2025: The occasion was a dinner. We ate very well. The lady who served us was very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. The thing that pleasantly surprised me was the absence of kitchen smells in the room. Excellent experience.

04/05/2025: Had lunch today, started with the owner's usual great courtesy. Menu: unforgettable warm seafood salad, you could smell the sea! Continued with an extraordinary, for the quality of the raw material, cooking and presentation of the dish, mixed grilled seafood and vegetables! Excellent ! Green apple and Calvados sorbet to round off this gastronomic experience! The Prosecco recommended by the house is excellent! I will return as soon as possible! Congratulations to Vito and his mother, an excellent chef!

24/05/2025: Excellent digestible pizza: Mediterranean with vegetables (zucchini, aubergines and peppers probably pre-cooked in a wood oven... as they used to do... good memories... nowadays almost no pizzeria does it anymore)

01/06/2025: A very small, yet very nice restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. They offer the typical Lucchese fair, but everything is very, very good!! I live in the Lucca area and I will definitely return!!

27/05/2025: Lunch in front of Puccini (his statue!)...Piazza Citadella... Despite the tourist crowds, which are quite normal for this magnificent city of Lucca...very kind and attentive welcome...perfect cuisine... Affordable prices... For lovers of Lucca and especially of the sublime Ilaria (eternally asleep in the Duomo San Martino...)...you can settle in...

17/05/2025: A must visit for everyone that loves gastronomy and hospitality. Creative, young, unique, delicious, these are just a few words one could use to describe how amazing the experience is. Cool staff, casual but chique. The red aprons complement the white linen tables. And the food tastes like a mother’s hug. Suprised and amazed!

12/05/2025: I had the most delicious dinner in such a cozy and elegant space! I recommend the tasting menu (I got the meat one, they also had a vegetarian option) that takes you into a sophisticated journey through Tuscan dishes! All truly exquisite. Wine selection is also top. And, finally, what a careful and kind service through out from the chef himself and his team. Bravo!

09/05/2025: Excellent fish restaurant, delicious spaghetti alla trabaccolara and caciucco - very generous portions. The dessert was also excellent, we tried the historic dessert, patatrac, which I recommend. Very kind and efficient service. Advised!

01/06/2025: Forse non è stato il mio giorno fortunato!!!!! Non credo che ci torneremo, escluso il personale di servizio(attento ed efficiente) per quanto ordinato stenderei un velo pietoso. 02/06/2025: At Oste di Lucca we tasted pici with Tuscan ragù and tordelli lucchesi that were simply exceptional! Typical, warm and welcoming trattoria, with a courteous, friendly and super helpful staff. Fast and impeccable service. Ended on a sweet note with a delicious torta della nonna. Highly recommended! If we return to Lucca, we will definitely return here! 🍝🍷🇮🇹

06/05/2025: Excellence in every detail: the table linen, the crockery, the attentive service, the affability of the staff as well as the professionalism. The dishes are masterpieces of haute cuisine, never banal but always tasty and delicious. Special mention for the wine list, from the most well-known labels to unobtainable gems resulting from a very careful selection and considerable knowledge. The Landlady has inherited a masterpiece and skilfully carries on a tradition, further raising the prestige of the venue. Compliments.

The cuisine is refined, with dishes that surprise with their originality and balanced flavors. A real added value is the sommelier: friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable, he was able to recommend wines that perfectly matched our dishes, with personalized and targeted suggestions that further enhanced the gastronomic experience. Among the dishes we tried, the seafood carbonara was a true experience to remember. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an evening of taste, professionalism and a welcoming atmosphere.

02/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner and we had a great time. The cuisine is of a good standard, with well-executed dishes and quality ingredients. The service was attentive, especially the sommelier, who recommended excellent pairings and helped us discover interesting wines, enhancing the meal without being intrusive. The restaurateur was also very kind, and contributed to making the atmosphere welcoming and pleasant. Definitely a place to return to with pleasure.
