07/06/2025: We ended up there by chance, attracted by the menu that presented interesting dishes. The place is small but very welcoming. On one wall a screen shows the activities in the kitchen. Off the menu dishes with a good summer truffle. The service is attentive and courteous. The owner was very kind and at the end of the meal he offered us a good grappa. It is definitely worth at least one visit. Congratulations!!!

08/06/2025: La comida, el servicio y el ambiente eran excelentes. Disfrutamos del menú degustación de 3 platos. Las mejores vieiras de la historia, excelente parpadelle con gambas y excelente lubina. Tal era la calidad de la comida que tuvimos que probar un postre (una crema de limón y un affogato) y no nos decepcionó. El restaurante es pequeño y acogedor, el servicio muy amable y relajado. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

03/06/2025: Très bon rapport qualité prix! Propose des formules différentes à prix très raisonnable. Des mélanges de saveur et parfum avec des produits de très bonnes qualités. Vraiment nous avons tous apprécié dans un cadre intimiste avec un service de qualité et souriant.

28/06/2025: We got here by accident as all other restaurants were totally booked and we had an absolutely beautiful experience. The service personell was extremely friendly, knowledgeable & attentive. Our dinner was delicious and the risotto was the best, most complex & elaborate I‘ve ever had.

The pizzas are great, and yes, you can definitely eat unusual toppings like French fries or sausages on a pizza ;) The selection of vegetarian pizzas is also very good. The prices are moderate, and they offer a free limoncello as a nightcap. I highly recommend Vikinen (both the Rossa and Bionda). My prices are for pizza, dessert, and drinks per person.

02/07/2025: I went to dinner this evening, the place is beautiful! Outdoors in the historic center of Lucca. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable and super helpful! The food is very good and quality, a truly incredible place! Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: Fabulous place! Gorgeous food and friendly staff. Gluten free options are great. Will be going back again! Went back again and as before everything was wonderful! Eduardo and Andrea were the perfect hosts and gluten free lasagne and tiramisu were delicious! I will be back again. Grazie

10/06/2025: Situado en la plaza de la ciudadela de Lucca, el Tosca ocupa un lugar destacado. Pedimos parmigiana y carbonara y cada plato fue disfrutado inmensamente. Las bebidas también eran excelentes y la calidad de la comida era igualada por la excelencia del clima. Lucca es un lugar especial y seleccionamos una parada de almuerzo de primera clase.

04/06/2025: One of my favorite restaurants when I am in Italy. Both inside and outside in the garden is really pleasant to sit, also due to the countryside landscape. And the food is as usual amazing. The fish crudo is a must have, but also the grilled branzino with veggies and potatoes was very tasty! And finally kudos to the sommelier who recommended a delicious cold Pinot Nero to accompany!

19/06/2025: A grandiose building on a newly revamped piazza in the centre of Bagni di Lucca. Truly delicious three course meal at bargain price. Lovely friendly staff, great service and beautiful piazza and fountain. Generous portions of wonderful food so make sure you are hungry to get the most out of this Tuscan experience! Not to be missed.

14/06/2025: Hey eten was heerlijk en heel betaalbaar. Maar als je rustig wilt eten moet je daar niet zijn. Het plein voor de pizzeria wordt gebruikt als dumpplaats voor luidruchtige Italiaanse kinderen waarvan de ouders aan de wijn zijn en niet opletten. Wat een herrie. De kinderen fietsen gewoon om de tafels heen.

22/06/2025: This is an osteria that pretends to be elevated. They confuse the osteria, mostly characterized by tiny tables arranged on the street, with a high-class restaurant. They really think it is a five-star restaurant... Their welcome is marked by waiters, adorned with countless vulgar and flashy tattoos and in ankle-length Bermuda shorts, without a smile or a gesture of courtesy. The table assignment is done with inelegant gestures, and the wait to receive the menu lasts for twenty minutes. The portions are insignificant (oh, but of course, we are still talking about a five-star restaurant...), and when an unexpected dish is served, it is necessary to deduce what it is and how to taste it. If you have the audacity to ask for directions on how to proceed, the answer is a dry indication: "With your hands, put it in your mouth". And what about the prices? Just to give an example, a simple spritz costs ten euros. These are, without a doubt, amateurs in disarray. STAY AWAY

07/06/2025: nous y sommes allés 2 fois avec mon époux repas délicieux, goutteux, service agréable, rapide,efficace. choix des vins exceptionnels tout était parfait, malheureusement nous quittons la région demain sinon nous aurions tenté une 3ème expérience.

A real added value is the sommelier: friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable, he was able to recommend wines that perfectly matched our dishes, with personalized and targeted suggestions that further enhanced the gastronomic experience. Among the dishes we tried, the seafood carbonara was a true experience to remember. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an evening of taste, professionalism and a welcoming atmosphere.
