The evening includes 10 appetizers, followed by a choice of two or three first courses, a second course, and a selection of desserts with Vinsanto. Everything is carefully curated and of excellent quality. The atmosphere is typical of Viareggio.

04/06/2026: We came to Barga for lunch from Lucca, and this restaurant was worth the trip. Incredible quality, the pastas were amazing, and the baked chocolate desert was incredible. The kindness and warm welcome was very much appreciated, and the small terrace in back was lovely. Would love to go back again someday.

03/05/2026: Excellent menu. Quality food, excellent service. For seafood lovers, I recommend the fried shrimp, calamari, and vegetables. But overall, everything was delicious.

03/05/2026: We started off a bit stiff, but we changed our minds thanks to the great attention and professionalism shown later. We ordered three T-bone steaks: truly excellent meat and cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes and delicate beans were also very good. The cecine pasta as an appetizer is a must! We paired it all with a very respectable house red wine. They also offered a vegetarian/vegan option with a very good tomato pasta dish. Excellent value: the final bill was very reasonable for us (about €150 total). I'd say it was all good, recommended!

02/06/2026: A place of excellence! Everything is balanced between culture, romance, well-organized service, and a very kind and attentive staff. Chef Francesco, with his presence at the tables to offer necessary advice and suggestions, stands out in a special way. The fully transparent cuisine makes the concept of transparency even more appreciated. The quality of the dishes and the art with which they are prepared reach a high level of gastronomic excellence, and the wine pairings suggested by the Sommelier are of the highest rigor and quality. 16/05/2026: The food at Osteria Miranda is truly delicious, with original and delicious combinations! Unfortunately, the only downside was the service. We were a slightly larger table, and the waiter asked us to order identical dishes, but given the vastness and deliciousness of the menu, we didn't. His reaction wasn't very polite, with plenty of ironic jokes, well... no way! Despite this, we had a lovely evening, and it's a place I recommend.

A coherent gastronomic journey, yet one that's open to the needs of each guest. The tartare is sublime, the meatballs a touch of the heart. An experience that expands and enriches you. Hats off.

19/05/2026: My rating depends on my dinner experience: the owners, who are undoubtedly welcoming and passionate, describe the place and the dishes very well. The food, however, remains, in my opinion, just above average in taste and presentation. The service is very slow, and some dishes arrived a bit cold. It's still a nice place for an evening with friends.

18/05/2026: We happened upon this charming restaurant on Saturday for lunch. Owner Stefania and her husband run the restaurant with care, passion, and a whole lot of love. We sat down expecting to have a platter and a plate of pasta for our son, but luckily, we were persuaded to try other dishes. All truly delicious. The Chianti tuna is a must-try, as are their desserts. But whatever Stefania recommends, trust me, you won't regret it.

19/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria; all the ingredients we tried were top-quality and well-cooked. The appetizers were well-fried, leaving no grease on your hands, and the pizza was cooked to perfection, with plenty of toppings and flavor. The atmosphere was simple and elegant. The service was fast, attentive, and helpful. The price was reasonable: for two, we spent €44. Definitely worth a try! We'll definitely be back, even though we live half an hour from Lucca.

07/07/2026: The atmosphere was certainly good. Partly thanks to another table where one of the guests started singing. The location was also pretty okay. I was welcomed well and was allowed to choose whether to sit in the air conditioning, with a fan breeze, or without anything. Wine is at least by the half bottle, which was too much for me alone. I was allowed to taste first, though, so I was sure to choose a good one. Great! For dinner, I chose the pici carbonara. In my opinion, the pasta tasted too much like flour, and the meat was mainly fatty. Who am I to pass judgment on this as a foreigner, but that is how I experienced it. The damper on the atmosphere came at the checkout: although the prices were reasonable, on top of VAT and the usual coperto, a 10% ‘aumento’ was also charged. It is not clear what this is, and I didn't see anything about it on the menu displayed either. There might be something about it on the menu, but I didn't notice it. Such tricks to charge more always make it less enjoyable. I only realized it afterwards, but I didn't feel like arguing anymore. What's asked is asked and what's given is given...

We asked the owner if they had availability, and he very kindly told us we'd have to wait 10 minutes, which we happily agreed to! The kindness, professionalism, and excellent food quality at fair prices were excellent. We'll be back in Lucca, and this place will definitely be a must-visit! Thanks from the guys in Caserta!
