The hospitality is top-notch, with courtesy and constant attention to the customer, a truly welcome yet never intrusive presence. Every time I'm back in Lucca for work, this will be a must-visit. My heartfelt compliments to the owner, who is also a delightful person and knows how to pamper his customers.

16/05/2026: The food at Osteria Miranda is truly delicious, with original and delicious combinations! Unfortunately, the only downside was the service. We were a slightly larger table, and the waiter asked us to order identical dishes, but given the vastness and deliciousness of the menu, we didn't. His reaction wasn't very polite, with plenty of ironic jokes, well... no way! Despite this, we had a lovely evening, and it's a place I recommend.

07/05/2026: An elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. We opted for the chef's suggested menu: a succession of delightful discoveries and excellent products. A coherent gastronomic journey, yet one that's open to the needs of each guest. The tartare is sublime, the meatballs a touch of the heart. An experience that expands and enriches you. Hats off.

13/08/2026: A very elegant and refined restaurant, where we chose to try the chef's tasting menu. We particularly appreciated the presence of the chef in the dining room, especially at the beginning of the service, so we could choose together the menu best suited to our evening. We opted for a mixed menu, mostly fish, with a meat main course. Everything was truly delicious, from the appetizers to the first courses. The spaghetti with sea urchins was undoubtedly my favorite. If I had to find a small flaw, perhaps the duck breast was a bit overcooked, but otherwise everything was excellent, including desserts. Very attentive, polite, and professional service, and a truly refined atmosphere. A very pleasant experience, we will definitely be back!

05/08/2026: I went to this place for dinner. Parking is limited, so it's best to arrive by motorbike. The village is very pretty, and the view from the veranda is breathtaking. We had the appetizer, tordelli, maltagliati with mushrooms, and two portions of fried mushrooms: everything was delicious! The mushrooms were clearly fresh, and the portions were super generous! The tiramisu for dessert was also noteworthy. Excellent value for money, and the service was friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back!

31/07/2026: Today, July 30, 2026, we had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. We enjoyed excellent porcini mushrooms prepared in every way: sautéed, fried, with maltagliati sauce, and roasted with an excellent "tagliata." We weren't expecting to find them this season, but the manager managed to accommodate us. A delight for quality, service, and price. Thank you. 👍👋

19/07/2026: We had a fantastic meal here with our two children in a quiet little alleyway, enjoying the shade – the Tuscan bread soup was sensational, as were the ravioli with ricotta and spinach, the tagliatelle with meat sauce or beef meatballs, and the squid dish. Delicious olive oil from Massarosa was served with the bread and was also available for purchase. Our host – half-Italian, having grown up in Germany – was very attentive, friendly, and warm, and the rest of the team was also incredibly nice. We felt very comfortable, thank you so much!

08/07/2026: I came to Pietrasanta primarily to visit the Mitoraj Museum. Before getting there, however, I went to the main square by the Duomo, had a wonderful aperitivo, and had dinner in a truly wonderful place! You welcomed me with extraordinary warmth and hospitality, and, equally importantly, delicious food, for which I am very grateful. Only then did I set off to see the museum. What's more, it's open until 11:00 PM :)

27/07/2026: Definitely exceptional for both quality and price. Book well in advance, even years in advance. We went two years later. Despite the long wait, it was worth the evening; it was exceptional!

19/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria; all the ingredients we tried were top-quality and well-cooked. The appetizers were well-fried, leaving no grease on your hands, and the pizza was cooked to perfection, with plenty of toppings and flavor. The atmosphere was simple and elegant. The service was fast, attentive, and helpful. The price was reasonable: for two, we spent €44. Definitely worth a try! We'll definitely be back, even though we live half an hour from Lucca.

12/08/2026: We went to this place for the first time, and we will definitely be back to eat there. Excellent Florentine steak, equally good side dishes and an incredible selection of wines. Very attentive service, kind and helpful waiters, exceptional price, highly recommended.

11/08/2026: A really nice place with good service. They were kind and good with english. And they even gave us a small dish before our dinner from the chef and watermelon after. I would recommend this

25/07/2026: Unexpected quality on the piazza

11/07/2026: Just another over priced, pretentious, tourist spot. Reservation only online as they refused our first attempt in person. Online only ends in an email request that was followed by a demand for a CC number within two hours to secure... or else. Then they send a cancellation notice due to non payment over an hour prior to their deadline. Next and last attempt ended with a no availability. Too many amazing restaurants in the area to waste time on this one.

25/07/2026: Excellent tordelli, delicate gnocchi, and delicious pici. Honorable mention for the cheesecake and tiramisu. The brownie is so compact.

25/07/2026: The osso buco was absolutely inedible...we didn't touch it...no questions from the completely indifferent staff

04/06/2026: We came to Barga for lunch from Lucca, and this restaurant was worth the trip. Incredible quality, the pastas were amazing, and the baked chocolate desert was incredible. The kindness and warm welcome was very much appreciated, and the small terrace in back was lovely. Would love to go back again someday.
