15/01/2025: New Year's Eve with a bang. "Warm" and intimate place, well managed by young people and with high professionalism, evident from the first minute. Our experience dates back to New Year's Eve 2024, during which we enjoyed 7 courses with respective matching wines... a true pleasure. A journey that begins with a simple prosecco paired with very tasty fried anchovies, then continues with 2 appetizers etc..... Unforgettable for me who am not a fan of them, the risotto with pumpkin speck and white truffle but the pinnacle for me is 'has reached the Galantina guinea fowl... I still dream of it. Thanks for the experience... Price appropriate to quality and quantity.

25/12/2024: Cena di gruppo. Cibo discreto, un po' troppo unto per i miei gusti. Prezzo nella media per quanto servito ma il posto e' veramente scomodo da raggiungere, quindi ci si aspetterebbe qualcosa in meno. Su alcune cose però non ci siamo proprio: 1) È richiesto il pagamento del coperto (2 €) peccato che in tavola non viene servito pane e/o grissini, così come niente sale/pepe o olio. Non si trattava di una dimenticanza perché nessun tavolo lì aveva. E non si dica che bastava chiedere perche' deve far parte del servizio standard. 2) Non viene servito il piatto pronto ordinato ma vengono portati dei piccoli vassoi da cui servirsi. Peccato che non viene detto che il vassoio in alcuni casi deve servire più persone, cosa non ovvia vista la sua ridotta dimensione. Pensando che ciascuno avrà un proprio vassoio é risultato che qualcuno è rimasto non servito. Nel caso dell arrosto di maiale al cartoccio la quantità disponibile in un vassoio ci è stato detto per 4 ma vista la quantità ciascuno ha avuto 3 mini fettine. 3) il menu al 90% prevede piatti di carne o comunque non adatti a persona vegetariana /vegana. Aspetto ormai non adeguato alle esigenze delle persone 4) il locale è piuttosto grande ma c'è un solo bagno, quindi inadeguato alle esigenze dei commensali.

09/02/2025: EXTRAORDINARY! The restaurant is set in a wonderful context adjacent to the walls of Lucca. Unique elegant magical city. A relaxing room with cheerful but not annoying background music. The choice of menu is personal, five, seven, nine courses, with wine pairings or just glasses. We chose the 7-stage route or journey with a glass of wine, asking to omit entrails from the menu. The chef created AMAZING dishes. We were greeted by friendly, cheerful and familiar staff. A gem for me were the choices of serving dishes, the tortelli with oil and parmesan on my grandmother's plate took me back home. All the people who work with chef Tomei really deserve many compliments. Well done everyone, we will definitely be back!

The location is excellent with armchairs and decorated ceilings Good quality of dishes The staff moves quickly and is courteous and helpful Too bad about the long waiting times (more than 1 hour for lunch). 22/02/2025: Piatti particolari e di una qualità ottima. Abbiamo preso due primi di pesce freschissimi e con un sapore unico. I dolci sono diversi dai soliti dolci che trovi in altri ristoranti: ottimi anche quelli, un'esplosione di sapori. Lo staff è cordiale e disponibile. Un'esperienza da rifare.

17/02/2025: Stavo cercando un ristorante diverso dai soliti ,e guardando tra le varie recensioni l occhio è caduto su questo .Infatti le ottime recensioni mi hanno fatto capire che era il locale giusto. Aspettative completamente rispettate. Locale particolarmente intimo con ottima apparecchiatura ,ottimo servizio e con portante ben presentate e molto buone. Il prezzo giusto considerando il locale e cosa ti viene servito ,che può variare a secondo di cosa si vuole bere. Quindi in conclusione se qualcuno cerca un locale per un occasione particolare oppure per assaporare cibi sia di pesce che di carne buoni e con accostamenti particolari può senza indugiare prenotare alla Fascina. Veramente consigliato .

06/02/2025: Efficient and quick service, we had the tasting of seafood crudités and two hot seafood appetizers. The plinths and lamb were all excellent and the presentation of the dish was well prepared. The desserts were good even if a little cloying, in particular the chocolate ingot.

06/01/2025: Locale carino molto accogliente. Dal menù scopriamo che la pasta è fatta in casa quindi prendiamo tortelli classici al ragù e tortelli di castagne con ricotta e speck entrambi strepitosi! Ottime le polpette fritte e spettacolare lo sformato di spinaci. Molto buoni anche i dolci e fenomenale la crema di limoni offertaci.

05/01/2025: Exceptional restaurant. Homemade pasta. Amazing mushroom ravioli, as are the butter and sage ones. Delicious herb soup. Excellent cheesecake. If you pass by Gallicano, stop and eat here.
