27/05/2025: This was the best meal we had in all of Sicily! We had the parmesan crisp with artichokes and potatoes as an appetizer, and for our meal we had black cod, sea bream with lemon, and black Angus burger. We also asked if they would make a spaghetti with olive oil and garlic dish for us to share (so simple but so delicious). If I was staying here another night, we would come back as we wanted to try the platter of fried fish and meat that we saw every table getting!

02/05/2025: Difficult to find but excellent pizzas are worth it. A real car park, a refined and pleasant setting but the important thing is that the plates are on the table. Antipasti with local charcuterie, followed by a wonderful pizze and an almost light tiramisu 🤣🤣🤣 and not very sweet. With glass of wine and 2 bottles of water for less than €70 for two (full menus). We are going back tomorrow!!!

31/03/2025: Everything is excellent, I review it like this, the pizza is really the way I like it, crunchy, thin and the ingredients are of excellent quality, the wait staff is kind and always present, I will return with pleasure, I highly recommend Le Serre pizzeria.

The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful, and they accommodated our group’s gluten-free needs without compromising on flavor or creativity. A truly memorable dining experience. 15/05/2025: Palazzo Biscari is the most interesting patrician residence in Catania still inhabited by heirs and by consulting the owners it can be visited. Most of the collections have been lost, in the visitable rooms you can admire paintings portraits of members of the princely family, furniture and furnishings from the 18th century. The music room is famous, a masterpiece of Sicilian Rococo, interesting decorations and stuccos. Negative note: the markets inside the palace. Very ironic guide.

12/05/2025: Excellent place in every respect. I ate the best rapier fish in my memory. The novelty of the touch that the "pear" gives to the dishes is very pleasant. 10 cum laude Well done

25/04/2025: Quality food, but they raised the price (already high) of a vegetable soup from 18 to 25 euros with the excuse that it was "first fruits". I was exhausted by the trip and I accepted... I'm sorry to see that tourists often have to pay higher prices. I will never go back there again.

14/05/2025: Excellent experience to be repeated absolutely. I came across the Trattoria Saltimbocca recommended by friends. The first thing that struck me was the attention of the waiters and the owner (unfortunately not common in Catania); the fish was all very fresh and cooked to perfection and Mr. Giancarlo was always present in the room, attentive to each table and happy to give you directions on the menu. The last pleasant surprise was the bill, definitely lower than the average for the city. I recommend everyone to try it and I intend to return as soon as possible

09/05/2025: Very good restaurant, a bit far from the city center of Catania, seafood specialties! Very pleasant service! Little extra: their cheesecake is really delicious! 😋

01/05/2025: I stayed at the Agriturismo with jezza pension together with my 5 year old daughter. The place is magnificent, surrounded by greenery, olive groves and vineyards. It has a very large lawn for games, events and events with an outdoor theatre. The farm animals, dogs and cats, are very docile and cuddly and attracted all of my daughter's attention. The owner is a very friendly, kind and super helpful person. The chef, the owner's son, was also available and above all delighted us with very appetizing starters and first courses, the second courses with well-grilled high quality meat; I would say the food was excellent. The only flaw was the room available to us which was a little too small with no support for suitcases or personal items and the very cramped shower which I found difficult, but I hope it was the only room so small. The place, as mentioned, magnificent and very large, would need further constant maintenance.

28/04/2025: We received a friendly and warm welcome with 2 motorcycles on April 27th, 2025 in the pre-season, it was nice and quiet and animal-friendly (dogs, cats)....

11/05/2025: Unfortunately, some bitter words. Typical tourist cuisine: edible. For starters, they put a bottle of wine on the table to suggest tourists order it. After the pizza they suggest the appetizer. The pizza is beautiful visually, but it doesn't taste good. The pizza dough and toppings separate. For the first time in Italy I threw pizza in the garbage...

09/05/2025: Locale molto noto e gettonato in zona mercato. Qui puoi comprare formaggi, salumi, prodotti alimentari in genere e tanto vino. C’è però anche una vastissima zona gastronomia dove trovi cibo già cotto anche questo per asporto o, se vuoi, da consumare nei tavoli in saletta o in quelli all’aperto lungo la via. Le specialità proposte nella vetrina gastronomica sono attraenti ma se vuoi mangiare sul posto, essendo tutto venduto a porzione o a peso, hai difficoltà a fare degli assaggi misti. Io riesco ad ottenere un piatto ‘personalizzato’ con una polpetta di carne di cavallo accompagnata da insalata mista (ottima), e un carciofo (poco mangiabile essendo prevalentemente il fuori e non il ‘cuore’). Con un calice di vino rosso spendo quasi 20 euro. A mio avviso questo locale è sopravvalutato soprattutto in considerazione dei prezzi rapportati alle porzioni/quantità. Non ci tornerei.

15/05/2025: The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, the restaurant next door offers much more interesting and elaborate dishes, so this place is a bit worse in comparison.

13/05/2025: Nous avons visité l’Italie du Sud sur une période de trois semaines et notre repas à la Trattoria U Fucularu de Catane fut de loin le meilleur du voyage. Un repas typique de Catania qui combinait fraîcheur, goût et arômes de la région et la créativité du la Cheffe Alessia!! Semplicemente delizioso!!!
