13/01/2025: Excellent food and moderate prices. Traditional old-fashioned cuisine. They served and treated us very well. We arrived on a public holiday (Sunday) with 9 people and without a reservation. The gentleman in charge of the room made himself completely available to us and tried to please us by arranging the tables differently just to let us have lunch. We ate very well...

06/01/2025: The fish was really fresh, even though it was quite late they still accepted the order. An amazing mussel and clam soup, the best I've ever eaten, the mixed fried food was exceptional! Excellent service! super responsive and friendly staff capable of making you smile! Overall, I highly recommend it!

31/03/2025: Food was normal, I could cook it myself. Wine was expensive for a glass and not the best. The waiter was ignorant. At least welcome the guests. Unlike us Google for restaurants here. We were too hungry to do so!

29/03/2025: Siamo stati a Taormina bellissima città turistica, eravamo stanchi e abbiamo trovato un simpaticissimo ristorantino caratteristico e ci siamo fermati, accolti in maniera calorosa da l cameriere Alfio che ci ha fatto accomodare e ci ha serviti egregiamente, abbiamo mangiato delle ottime bruschette con pomodorini cipolla olio e origano e delle deliziose zucchine grigliate, a seguire fettuccine con funghi trifolati molto buoni e una carbonara fatta bene abbiamo completato il pranzo con cassata siciliana e sorbetto al limone 🍋 consiglio vivamente questo locale da ritornare grazie Alfio ‼️

10/10/2024: Siamo stati per una cena e ci siamo trovati bene. Ambiente informale e prezzi accessibili (a differenza di tanti ristoranti di Favignana molto cari). Abbiamo provato sia la pizza che la cucina. Tutto buono e tutto curato. Lo consigliamo!

30/09/2024: Si può mangiare sia la pizza che piatti di pesce. Ho preso un bel fritto misto e una verdura. Non male per una cena veloce senza grandi pretese.

12/10/2024: Tuvimos una experiencia decepcionante en A Lampara. Varios platos y vinos enumerados en el menú no estaban disponibles, lo que limitó nuestras opciones desde el principio. El servicio fue golpeado o fallado — mientras que el caballero mayor fue educado, un miembro del personal fue grosero, incluso arrojando los platos sobre la mesa. El equipo también parecía desorganizado, llevándonos vino de la casa y un Aperol Spritz que nunca pedimos. La comida en sí era abrumadora, con porciones pequeñas, y el risotto ai frutti di mare* sabía a arroz precocinado. Desafortunadamente, no es un lugar que recomendaría.

28/03/2025: Don't be seduced by the cozy appearance, the food is really, really bad. I never write a review but now there is no other way. The risotto could not be called real risotto. Plain hard rice in a little broth, cold and salt-free. The pistachio pasta was also cold and saltless. Afterwards we went to Pizza & Pasta (nearby) and the pasta there was delicious!

28/03/2025: I don’t normally leave reviews but our experience was so bad I felt I need to do it this time. The food was horrible. My girlfriend ordered a risotto fungi and I ordered a pasta farfalle with pistachio. Both dishes lacked taste, had little to no salt, and were not completely warm (like a dish warmed up in a microwave with pieces steaming but still cold at its core). The risotto was not creamy at all, and the rice used seemed like regular rice instead of the one used for risottos. Very frustrating. The waiters were nothing special. Not rude but also not friendly. They serve a portion of bread as couvert but nothing to eat it with (a bit of olive oil would be nice). We had some potato croquets as appetisers and once again no sauce to go with it (only boring and dry croquettes). The location and place look nice and of not for that we would have probably eaten somewhere else. We actually did that anyway after leaving the restaurant because we had to eat something good before going home. In short, I can’t recommend it less and would not come back again.

10/11/2024: This is the worst place ever… The pizza is drenched in oil; it looks and tastes like a frozen pizza. The carbonara is the driest pasta I have ever eaten, with no carbonara taste at all. The orange juice is full of ice and water, with no orange flavor and no sweetness… The pizza dough tastes like it’s several days old. We were forcing ourselves to eat it only because we were so hungry… and they automatically included a service fee, even though we didn’t want to tip at all. I have never eaten somewhere this bad before… We traveled three hours just to eat the worst food ever….

14/04/2025: Accueil parfaite, le serveur est très amical et fort sympathique. Je conseille ce restaurant si vous voulez bien manger, que ce soit en famille ou entre amis.

13/04/2025: Hicimos lo que siempre hacemos cuando viajamos y buscamos los mejores restaurantes calificados por Trip Advisor cerca. Este se veía bien y tenía una buena puntuación general. Visitamos un domingo para la cena y encontramos el restaurante marido y mujer lo suficientemente amable, pero el menú era abrumador y limitado y la comida no estaba a la altura del precio. Creo que dejamos los calamares al final porque estaban tan sobrecocinados que era difícil pasarlos. Parecía que había mejores opciones a lo largo de esa calle, así que elegiría (y estaré esta noche) otras opciones.

16/03/2025: We were there in the evening during "Carnival 2025", already surprised to find space but even less so than to find quality on our plates. Succulent dishes and well served! The owner takes great care of her customers (it's March, we have to see July). It's a shame that this restaurant doesn't open during the winter. We will come back for sure!

22/10/2024: We were staying in the village and enjoyed the Millepini restaurant. Whether it was the dish of the day or the menus on the menu, we enjoyed ourselves. The staff are lovely, the setting is magnificent (400m altitude) and great value for money.
