La Pizzoleria In Catania

Tasty food, great variety on the menu. Service was excellent and staff very nice and friendly. Can be a little bit noisy outside as location is central.

The place is very cute, both the quaint interior and the exterior, especially the one overlooking Piazza Quattro Canti. The pizzolo is well-made, and the pizzas are generous and delicious. The service is also good.

Excellent brunch this morning. €10 for a plate with fresh bacon and grilled lardons, an omelet, and two generous rolls. Salad, tomatoes, and pickles. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The location is lovely, right in the middle of Catania's ZTL (so no cars allowed), quiet, and pleasant.

Beware of tourist traps! Employees stand outside the restaurant trying to lure customers in. There was also a sign outside advertising a special offer: €10 for an Aperol Spritz and a Margherita pizza. It sounded good at first, but in very small print, it stated that it was only a mini pizza. So, it was just a cheap trick to get people inside. We decided to give the restaurant a chance anyway. The waiter was only friendly until we were seated. Our food arrived relatively quickly. We ordered two pizzas and fries. Unfortunately, there was a hair in the fries, which shouldn't happen. My pizza and the fries tasted good. My girlfriend didn't enjoy her pizza as much. The prices at this restaurant are rather high. Overall, our visit wasn't very impressive. You can find restaurants in Catania where you pay significantly less and get better food and service.

The pizza is delicious, the service is fast, and they give you a huge portion.
