06/01/2026: In Cefalù, a beautiful location, based on my experiences (maybe I attract them) and a place where it is very difficult, if not impossible, to eat well, perhaps tonight has hit rock bottom or almost, starting from the fact that with the appetizers still on the table they bring you the following courses, not because of speed of service, but rather because of a lack of communication between the kitchen and the dining room, with the waiter who did not know where to put the dishes, (appetizers a little above average) they bring my friend at the table the pasta with sardines that seems like the one from the cans that the brothers side dish in Palermo make, I had ordered a mushroom risotto (it was supposed to be with seafood, but alas they had run out of mussels and clams), my negligence did not read that there were pistachio nuggets, but the risotto that arrived at my table seemed only pistachio and some traces of mushrooms, totally tasteless so much so that I left it, as icing on the cake the kitchen was so quick that they forgot My friend's dish, grilled swordfish, I could go on, but I'll draw a veil of silence, reiterating that many of the places I've visited in Cefalù (again based on my experience) are fortunate to be located in a pearl of a seaside resort swarmed by tourists, and eating is still a must. The only positive note was the sommelier who served the drinks at the table.

25/12/2025: One of the worst experiences of our lives, a total disappointment that ruined our highly anticipated Sicily experience. We'd been recommended the adjacent restaurant, Il Gabbiano, but since it was closed, we settled on this one since it was the only one open. We ordered some truly tasteless appetizers. But after more than an hour of waiting, the main courses arrived, and there were truly no words: an insult to Italian and Sicilian cuisine. Raw spaghetti, stuck together, with a finger's worth of cooking water on the plate and no visible sauce. To top it all off, the staff kept arguing. Please stay away.

03/11/2025: An exceptional experience with an al fresco lunch overlooking the sea. Quality dishes and excellent service. Prices are in line with the dishes.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

28/12/2025: Never trust the reviews... the property doesn't just have a hotel, but also rooms in the center of Bagheria. Very nice showers and excellent services, good cleaning as well. I got it at a great price for the Christmas period. I always found parking in the square near the church. Out of necessity, I had to stay an extra night and the lady who takes care of it immediately found me another accommodation in the same building nearby. You'll find everything, even a nice place where you can relax and drink good wine. It allows you to stay with the comforts it offers and didn't limit herself to fulfilling every request we had. If I have to highlight a shortcoming, well, there isn't one because in a property you have to look for a good shower and a good bed to be able to relax after a day discovering the wonders that Sicily and Palermo in particular have to offer. If you're looking for the comforts of home, then stay at your home.

19/10/2025: Starting from the assumption that this hotel was recommended to us, and unfortunately, we trusted them by booking without actually seeing anything, but... in hindsight, we made a terrible mistake. Zero welcome. I can wait 20 minutes for the owner to check me in when it's a B&B, not a hotel!!! The room... absolutely no comment. Aside from the style, which is unfortunately subjective and, as far as I'm concerned, taste is zero, stuck in the '80s... the room smelled, as soon as I opened the door, of mold, stuffiness, and sewerage, it was unbelievable... the windows had filthy curtains, one of which was broken and had to be pulled inside the window to keep it in place. As soon as we went to bed, I had to have the pillowcases changed because they were wrinkled, as if someone had leaned on them... the shower was quite suffocating because it was completely closed, but that's subjective too, the showerhead hook broke without any warning, so the showerhead decided to commit suicide on my toe, coming out red and swollen!!! Breakfast, another thing, no comment... very low quality... and, except for the coffee, only food. Juice, milk, squeezed juice... nothing, nothing!!!! You could have choked on not even a drop of water. No cutlery, just plates, so everyone practically grabs it with their hands. Then they serve cereal without milk, so as far as I'm concerned I could have thrown it in my face. Highly not recommended, absolutely not, I'll never stay here again. P.S. The only decent thing is the parking... too bad a few cockroaches showed up before we left, so no pest control!!!!

01/08/2025: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo in questo ristorante, su una bella terrazza con vista mare. Abbiamo mangiato pane cunzato, frittura mista, spiedini di pesce spada. Buon cibo, piatti tipici, servizio veloce e prezzi adeguati.

22/07/2025: Luftiger Terasse, Blick aufs Meer, sehr gutes Essen: Pizza blitzschnell am Tischund köstlich,,Risotto und Nudel absolut top! Hauswein kühl und leicht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

01/01/2026: I beg you, take my advice. The people who cook have no idea how to make even a plate of spaghetti with clams. The quality of the ingredients is terrible. Plus, the prices are incredibly high. And the owner talks nonsense and makes fun of you: the Mazzara shrimp, which were actually huge and frozen solid, were actually frozen. The location is beautiful, but I highly recommend eating anywhere but this one. They're too bad.

27/03/2026: The other evening, a friend invited me and 12 others to a dinner to celebrate his success. I wasn't familiar with the place, nor did I know what the food was like. Since it was an invitation, the menu was set, presumably chosen by him, so once we arrived, we all sat down at a table made up of a row of black square tables with a very large pedestal at the base, making it uncomfortable to stand on. Dinner for 13 people begins. First, two bottles of chilled glass water arrive, but without caps and already opened... water with a terrible taste (I assume it's from the tap after using a tank), then two plates of pizza, two plates of sfincione, two plates of focaccia, and two plates of bruschetta and a rotisserie mignon, tasteless and insignificant. All the dishes were cut into small pieces, but none of the dishes tasted as they should. But let's move on. We begin eating without anyone bringing suitable drinks, namely beer and Coke. And after much requesting, two bottles of beer and one of Coke arrive, again for 13 people. 🤔 The first course arrives, a plate of short pasta with no idea what the sauce or condiment was. After the first taste, I decide to add some grated cheese to enhance the flavor, but the cheese was flavorless and aromaless. 🤔 The second course arrives with three small pieces of pork loin sliced ​​so thinly that a slice The ham is much thicker, covered in a flavorless glaze of who knows what, served with a side of cold, burnt baked potatoes and hot French fries. Throughout all this, we constantly had to ask for drinks, and finally, a smile of thanks to the friend who invited us and a goodbye to the restaurateur who will surely never see us again.

27/03/2026: It's unacceptable that I had to enter this restaurant wearing a clean jacket and leave with a stained one!!! The waiter knocked it off his chair three times by stepping on it even after noticing! The pasta was delivered to me with the draining water still in it!!! I hope things improve!

04/04/2026: Very cute cafe with extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Just how we imagine an Italian atmosphere. Very tasty fresh squeezed red orange juice. Phenomenal view of the square!

03/04/2026: The frappe was far too expensive for just a bit of whipped cream and strawberries, and the crepe was rock hard. I unfortunately cannot recommend it!

10/03/2026: Unfortunately, our experience with the service wasn't positive. The brunette woman who served us was rather rude and hasty, making us feel like we were almost in the way at that hour. Throughout the entire service, we didn't even see a smile, which makes the atmosphere unwelcoming for anyone entering a restaurant. It's a real shame, because the food is worth it: the seafood spaghetti was very good, and the Norma rolls were also truly excellent. While we were waiting for our dishes, some English tourists sat down. The same woman rather brusquely placed the menu on the table. After about 15 minutes, they decided to order a pizza, but the woman returned, saying in a stern tone that the pizza kitchen was already closed and that they could order something else (fish, meat, etc.). The tourists, rightfully annoyed, got up and left. It would have been much more appropriate to say so immediately when she brought the menu. It's a real shame, because the food is good, but the kindness and hospitality are part of the experience. For this reason, we won't be returning.

31/08/2025: Terrible and expensive. I went alone around 1:30 PM and they charged me for two loungers for the whole day, telling me that it made no difference whether I was alone or half a day. €20 for half a day, and I even got the last row. I was hoping to at least relax, but nothing. The distance between loungers was almost nonexistent. No privacy; you could hear everyone else's conversations as if you were part of the same group. To get to the beach, you had to walk right past everyone. To top it all off, my umbrella had no place to put my phone. €20 for a few hours...stolen.

25/09/2025: Came here in september - lovely location with beautiful views but was not reflected in the experience. The staff were inattentive and quite rude , not welcoming at all - it was our first time going and nothing was pointed out we had no idea how anything even worked , left after an hour - was a waste of money in our eyes

07/12/2025: We're customers and we were very disappointed. Among the pizzas we ordered, there was a Scaccione with speck. We asked to replace it with bresaola. Well, we were charged for the extra. We think this is unfair and we won't be going back, because it wasn't an extra, but a substitution.
