We had a great time at this historic trattoria, very close to Catania's fish market. We didn't hesitate even though the place was empty, and once seated, we ordered sardines al beccafico, caponata, grilled fish, and swordfish. The service is simple, without frills. As is the beautifully laid table. The dishes are simple, authentic, and delicious. The prices are fair. If we ever return to Catania, we'll definitely dine here again.

Probably the best risotto of my life! The fish is superb and incredibly fresh; at lunchtime, you can practically see the fish you're eating being bought. In the evenings, it's also really lovely and cozy with a great atmosphere! The house wine is top-notch, too. And very good prices for the quality and taste!

A traditional trattoria without the hustlers and frills, the food is excellent. It feels like a postcard from times gone by. Two first courses with wine for €40 The best spaghetti with clams ever, a single, rude yet incredibly kind waiter. The only non-touristy place I've seen in the center of Catania.

Super fresh seafood and fish, the mussel pasta and soup were the best I've ever had. The host was very nice, always smiling, food was served quickly, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

04/01/2026: An enchanting place, we stayed there for one night. We had dinner, lunch the next day, and breakfast; we had a wonderful time. They reserved a very welcoming and comfortable chalet for us, the bathroom had recently been renovated and even had a towel warmer. The food service is excellent; Mr. Salvatore, who looked after us, is a very courteous and friendly person. To give you an idea, we sat down at 8:00 PM and got up at 10:00 PM, enjoying everything from appetizers to dessert. I highly recommend it and, of course, we will return. It's a key location, given its rather elevated position. I wanted to point out that they put Coca-Cola directly at the table without even asking, which is something no one ever does.
27/12/2025: The perfect place to unplug, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy pure relaxation. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, the rooms are exquisite, equipped with every comfort, and they accept pets. The food is excellent. The location is superb for exploring the entire northern slopes of Etna. Overall, everything is top-notch, I'll be back.

17/03/2026: A typical Catanian rotisserie, serving excellent quality products in keeping with the Catania tradition. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well organized, although there's always a wait because it's very busy, you can make reservations, which is recommended. Despite the large influx of customers, the line always moves quickly and the staff is prompt.
