21/08/2025: It's not our first time there; we've both gotten pizza takeout and dined in. Last night, craving seafood, we took Giusy's advice. We couldn't have made a better choice: for two, we had an appetizer of chef's delights, fried calamari and shrimp, and grilled fish—everything was spectacular. The house white wine is delicious, but it's definitely worth ordering in the evening, without having to drive. I didn't take photos because the sight alone made me hungry.

27/10/2025: We spent both the first and last days of our visit to Sicily in Palermo, and on both occasions we had lunch at Primi Piatti. We enjoyed the food, the friendly service and the surroundings. In fact, it was particularly amusing that our first contact with the owner of the restaurant was seeing her washing some of those surroundings - a niche with a plant down the street from the restaurant - on the grounds that keeping the area clean contributed to the pleasure of being there. And, about the surroundings, it was lovely to be in a quiet, side street, in almost startling contrast to the bustle of one of Palermo's busiest tourist thoroughfares just metres away. All that with good food at reasonable prices made us happy to make a second visit to the restaurant.

13/10/2025: The food was good but nothing special; the dishes weren't generous enough. The carbonara lacked meat. The tiramisu was more like a Nopolitan. The price was very reasonable.

17/09/2025: A pleasant resort with a spa. Spacious rooms and an on-site restaurant. The only downside is the lack of event planning (weddings and banquets), which clashes with the typical relaxation the average guest seeks in this type of place. Breakfast is plentiful and varied.

15/09/2025: Decent place. Absolutely unqualified staff. Ridiculous wellness center. The only positive note was the evening dinner and the waiter, Mr. Franco (a delightful person).

09/12/2025: The service, friendliness, and helpfulness are top-notch. First of all, everything we ate was delicious, and I don't want to talk about the prices because if you eat well, you have to pay. Unfortunately, the downside is the small portions, considering it's a trattoria, and the extremely slow service between courses. I also didn't receive a side dish, which the kitchen forgot, and which was later removed from the bill at my request.

13/12/2025: My experience at Trattoria da Piero was unfortunately very negative. From the moment we arrived, we had the impression that the place was neglected: it seemed decidedly dirty, with an atmosphere that conveyed neither care nor attention to detail. The staff, from what I could tell from my visit, also seemed rude and unhelpful, which further impacted the overall quality of the experience. As for the dishes, we were not entirely impressed with the quality of the food: disappointing flavors and poorly presented, far from what we had expected after the recommendation we received from the hotel where we stayed for three days. Based on our personal experience, we cannot recommend this place.

09/12/2025: The food is excellent and the service is friendly. Of course, when it's busy, you might have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. Fresh fish and seafood. We recommend the house specialty, hmm... And so, the mussels. We recommend it.

The event was held outdoors, and despite the wind, Serena, Massimo, and their entire fantastic staff were responsive, attentive, and always ready to make us feel at ease. We ate divinely, and every dish was delicious, meticulously crafted, and served with great professionalism. Thanks to them all, our celebration was perfect, full of joy and worry-free.

19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us showed up and were seated at a table inside, which I was forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.

15/12/2024: Siamo andati in questo posto perché da tempo ne avevamo sentito parlare ,siamo arrivati con grande curiosità e aspettative ma ci ritroviamo a dover fare delle puntualizzazioni . Per quanto riguarda la location ambiente accogliente ,personale poco professionale,per quanto riguarda il cibo gli antipasti buoni anche se troppo moderate le quantità ,j primi il cous cous era buono , le busiate con la salsiccia scarna e i fusilli con la zucca non legavano con il condimento ,i secondi e il dolce ok . Nota dolente per quanto riguarda il vino in quanto telefonicamente mi è stato riferito che era compreso nel prezzo ,invece nel momento del conto ci rendiamo conto che era a parte circa 18 euro la bottiglia . Per quanto mi riguarda non considero professionale e seria un informazione telefonica illusoria. Quando ho riferito al proprietario l accaduto prontamente mi ha risposto che avrebbe richiamato il personale ma credo che nessun impiegato abbia voce in capitolo o prenda iniziativa di questo tipo. Qualità prezzo non proporzionato .
