17/07/2026: Excellent pizza restaurant just steps from the agora, the vibrant center of the medieval village. The modern restaurant has a beautiful two-level terrace garden where you can dine in the warmer months. The menu features traditional Sicilian dishes using local, locally sourced ingredients. The pizzas are delicious, with a dough made from a blend of whole-wheat flours, naturally leavened for 48 hours, making them highly digestible.
I recommend the cinnamon, pistachio, and black cherry loaf covered in chocolate, and the Nutella pizza for dessert. The staff is friendly, and the owner, Natale, is hospitable.

09/05/2026: You go there and think: is it possible? Is it really here? And then - food that will knock you out of your shoes!!! Fresh, fragrant, simple and luxurious. Friendly service, prices typical for beach restaurants. It just needs some work on the messy surroundings.

The dishes are truly delicious, prepared with care and using quality ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful evening enjoying excellent cuisine. 05/07/2026: The mozzarella with tomatoes was wonderfully fresh and delicious; you could even season it yourself with coarse salt, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. The pizza was just as good. The dough was very fluffy and tender, not rubbery or burnt like you often find. The portion size is a bit misleading; for the price, we left this café completely stuffed. The tables are a little small, but this is a café/bar, not a restaurant. The restroom was clean. I think the menu is only in Italian, but the waiter speaks English. So, highly recommended for a quick bite while shopping or for lunch!

11/07/2026: We really enjoyed our evening at La Capinera! We had the tasting menu with 8 courses and chose a wine package with 4 glasses. The food was over all very good, and the service was even better! We felt very well taken care of during the entirety of our dining experience.
We found it a little uncomfortable that there were no door locks in the bathroom.
10/07/2026: My family and I went for dinner at an interesting restaurant. Good service, great view of the bay. We ordered the tasting menu: two meat and two seafood dishes. Overall, it was tasty, but nothing special. I don't know how they got a Michelin star. We also ordered the wine pairing menu, which was a complete disappointment. Either the restaurant skimped on the wine, or the sommelier was lousy. Another downside is the proximity to the train line (literally right next to it) and the corresponding noise from passing trains, although fortunately there were only three during dinner. For dinner for four and three wine pairings, we paid almost 800 euros. Definitely not worth the money.

Perhaps he didn't understand that in addition to an appetizer to share, we would order two more main courses.

31/07/2026: We don't understand the overwhelming negative reviews from Poles. We ate at this restaurant three days in a row; the pizza was excellent, the pasta was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic. We felt very comfortable there, thanks to the fact that it's run entirely by a family – the atmosphere is unmistakable, and the waitresses greet people with a smile and kindness. We highly recommend it,

06/06/2026: After the show at the ancient theater, even though it was late, they greeted us with a smile. Both the tagliolini allo scoglio and the pasta with swordfish roe were excellent. The courtesy of the waiter Ezechiele did the rest! Recommended

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea.
For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by.
We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.
07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

09/06/2026: Received a very friendly welcome. Beautiful location and atmosphere. Stayed 4 nights, good beds. Dinner was varied every day with different Sicilian specialties and delicious red Etna wine. Due to the location of the terrace, direct contact was made with other guests and experiences about the island were shared. The only downside was that breakfast was tasty but lacked variety.
28/05/2026: A very pretty and tastefully renovated agriturismo that's also very functional! The garden is superb, with fragrant trees and a lovely swimming pool. The rooms are beautiful, and the restaurant is charming, with a very complete breakfast. Dinner is good, but the portions are small considering the prices. We were disappointed by the requirement to pay for the meal in cash only when the bill was presented. This discouraged us from dining there the following two evenings. It's a shame.
