23/10/2025: We were there on Sunday 19th we wanted to eat a pizza and drink a beer but with my wife but unfortunately we only managed to drink half a beer then the owner literally kicked us out due to an argument that arose with a customer who was there before us who wanted at all costs after paying a receipt or an invoice, in Via Rendente Contatore we are still obsessed that everyone must pay taxes. 😂😂😂😂

17/09/2025: Everything was perfect...the calm, the life and the service and I won't even mention the food...the fish ravioli in avocado sauce with prawns on top was amazing and the moist lemon dessert was a treat...in short, everything was perfect from start to finish...a great experience

16/09/2025: Empty restaurant, no pizza in a pizzeria restaurant even though it's 8 p.m....very limited choice of dishes and not attractive prices at all. Nevertheless, a warm welcome, typical of Sardinian culture, I have the impression, but I do not recommend it.

23/07/2025: Abbiano cenato in un'atmosfera da film, romantica e con una lieve brezza di vento. Conduzione familiare, abbiamo visitato "lu stazzu" dove veniva cucinato il maialino da latte e provato diversi piatti tipici. Assolutamente consigliato!

02/11/2025: A very beautiful and evocative venue located in one of the most beautiful places in the world. With this setting, it's natural to expect top-notch service and, above all, superior food. Indeed, after getting over the wow factor of the location's beauty, we enjoyed impeccable service from knowledgeable and friendly staff and excellent food. A special mention goes to the linguine alla Nerano, an extraordinary Mediterranean dish. Spectacular!

02/10/2025: Despite spending around €250 for dinner for two, they refused to remove an appetizer we ordered and didn’t like. It was literally €35 for 4 small pieces of bite-sized zucchinis with what tasted like a fish paste filling inside. We ate one each and left the rest. The manager came to ask if we didn’t like it. After telling him we didn’t like it he took our plates away in what seemed like a “I’ll remove these from your bill sorry you didn’t like it” kind of way, and asked if we would like something else but later included it in the bill. When I asked if it could be removed he said that he would ask and came to say no (he just said he would ask but didn’t ask anyone I could tell), saying that we ate half of it and for that reason they would charge us for it (how else would we try something with 4 small pieces). Terrible experience, extremely small portions, and bad food. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated with fake and greedy hospitality.

16/09/2024: Cercavo un posto dove mangiarmi un bel piatto vista mare e camminando lungo mare ho visto questo posto così bello pieno di alberi una presenza proprio da mare 🤩 entrando mi sono innamorato sempre di più e tempo zero ci ha accolto un signore che penso sia uno dei responsabili super gentile ed elegante proprio come il posto .. posso dire una cosa la qualità non ha prezzo perché questa frase perché un po’ costano ma almeno si mangia davvero davvero bene.. sembrerebbe un posto turistico ma davvero buono quindi super consigliato⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

08/09/2024: A very nice evening with good music. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is very friendly. Beach club during the day and restaurant after 8 p.m. in the evening. Parking is available across the street.

07/11/2025: Nice pizzeria on the square, with relaxed atmospere. Very kind owner and super tasty pizzas. It is possible to take away, but it is better to ask them in advance, as in busy hours they do not make them. Alergens are not a problem here - educated and kind waiter prepared dairy free pizzas for me and my sister. I will be happy to come back!

10/10/2025: We spent four days at the hotel in October. The location was unbeatable in Cala Gonone, right on the seafront. The spacious room had a jacuzzi on the terrace, new amenities, and sea views from the bed, allowing us to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was varied and high-quality. The staff was wonderful, making you feel at home. We will definitely return!

30/09/2025: Ideal location, designer hotel, large room facing the sea, beautiful bathroom, varied and generous breakfast. Flawless then? Not really. Armchair on the balcony is broken and unusable... hidden by cushions. Balneotherapy bath that sends out black particles from the jets. The reception says a little "sorry, I'll report it" but doesn't make a goodwill gesture and even charges for the drink taken at the bar during checkout and the beach towels. For a room at €300 a night!!!! Owners (too) spoiled or unprofessional. As for the restaurant, avoid it. A long menu of... frozen products. Uncomfortable chairs. All for €50 per person for 2 courses. There are much better options not far down the street.

29/06/2025: Quasi da manuale come si possa con poco rovinare un luogo incantevole: ho frequentato per anni per colazioni, caffè e aperitivi questo bar affacciato su Porto Taverna. Non sarà il fatto che il vecchio e fresco arredo bianco-mediterraneo sia stato soppiantato da uno nuovo in tinte scure, che i prezzi siano ulteriormente lievitati e la musica divenuta volgarmente assordante (de gustibus…) ma assistere a come un plotone di giovani addetti e addette impreparati (neppure un sardo fra loro) sia incapace di servire un caffè (l’ordine passato da uno all’altro ben sette volte), il barista col muso lungo che manco sa rispondere e poi - a coronamento - al momento dell’aperitivo dopo aver chiesto se fosse possibile abbassare la musica, nessuno ha avuto la cortesia di un cenno, anzi per tutta risposta il volume è diventato ancora più alto, è qualcosa di davvero sconsolante. Peccato!

02/10/2025: The restaurant presents itself with great ambitions, but the reality failed to live up to expectations, due to a completely unsustainable quality-price ratio. The cuisine, rather than surprising, left an impression of being small and uninspiring, with offerings that are unjustified by such an ambitious menu. The service, polite and attentive, remains the best aspect, even if not impeccable. In the end, one is left with the feeling of having paid for the idea rather than the substance.

09/09/2025: The food was genuinely lovely, unfortunately the customer service was extremely poor. My partner and I had our plates cleared within a minute of finishing our meals. About 5 minutes later we both finished our drinks. We were planning on having another round of drinks and dessert, but 15 minutes went by and none of the 3 front of house staff had made any effort to ask us if we wanted anything else. They let us sit with our empty glasses while they cleared empty tables and sat new customers. The restaurant was not particularly busy, and our table was right next to the door meaning the staff were constantly walking past us. We couldn’t help but feel like they genuinely didn’t care about our custom and seemed to make every effort to ignore our signals. After some time, we finally got the attention of the waitress, but at this point we had been waiting 15 minutes for some service and had lost patience, so we asked for the bill and went elsewhere for dessert and more drinks.

03/11/2025: We went just for breakfast. Late October. The restaurant was empty. Croissants and coffee. The most important thing is the view.

01/11/2025: My God! Hospitality is clearly not a given in this restaurant. For starters, and this is true everywhere here, there's a €3 cover charge. We were three adults and one child, and €3 for a two-year-old? Seriously? We only wanted two pizzas because we weren't very hungry, but they told us we had to order a minimum of three because there were three adults. Sure, the pizzas are good, but the rest is best avoided. Especially the person who acts like the manager—they're so friendly, even a prison guard would be envious.

14/10/2025: Sea bream was very good, spaghetti vongole was mediocre, lasagna was microwaved too short, and the problem child, penne salmon, was made with chopped smoked salmon. No questions asked if it tasted good, no requests for more drinks. They just grabbed guests and then cashed in with an envelope. When I pointed out to the manager that the salmon should be listed as smoked salmon on the menu and my daughter ate almost none, she dismissed it with excuses. Tip: zero euros.
