11/10/2024: Needed a quick stop for a sandwich and a salad, and found this place brought along the waterfront. Everything was fine. The food was good. The beer was cold. The only problem I know that they cannot control all the stinking flies.
09/10/2024: Great location, terrible food. We had two chicken salads - and even that simplest of dish was off. Chicken tasted dry and double fried, watery salad felt straight out a supermarket bag. One of those places that seemingly don’t put any effort on what they serve you.

01/01/2026: We ordered two glasses of wine for €8 each. When it came to the bill, they charged us €18 because the €2 cover charge was for the service. I asked for an explanation, since we weren't served anything to eat and the table wasn't set or arranged in any way: the response was a disarming "I know."
It's a shame, because it makes the experience less transparent and rather unpleasant. Side note: the interior is decorated in a "chic crypt/Gothic cellar with random decorations" style, which is truly unpleasant.
01/01/2026: Poor-quality lager, different from the one on the menu, for €7, and a small beer for €5. A scam. Avoid at all costs!

07/08/2025: Sono stato per pranzo in questo locale con la famiglia,ho trovato un’accoglienza calorosa una cucina eccellente e autentica, un servizio impeccabile.
I Prodotti utilizzati derivano direttamente dai pescherecci di proprietà che escono dal porto di Gallipoli, il pesce è di qualità assoluta . Consigliatissimo.

21/04/2025: Sono stato a pranzo con amici, appena arriva il cameriere era già nervoso, iniziamo a ordinare e veniamo a sapere che più di 3 piatti diversi non li possiamo ordinare in modo che la cucina non si “incasinassero” e ci siamo accontentati di piatti che metà commensali non volevano. Arrivano i piatti e la pasta era cruda, frutti di mare insapore, abbiamo chiesto il vino e hanno detto che avevano finito le bottiglie per mettere la bevanda, di conseguenza si sono arrangiati con quello che hanno trovato. L’unica cosa buona erano le bevande che non sono prodotte da loro.

I had the opportunity to try your Orte beer at some restaurants and bars in Otranto during my vacation. I found it very pleasant, with a delicate flavor and a very reasonable price.
I live in the province of Rome and am unlikely to find it in the area. I tried to connect to your shop but I can't proceed with the order. I wanted to know if you have 50cl or 75cl bottles available in addition to the standard 33cl ones, and how much they cost.

04/08/2025: It's a brewery where I purchased excellent quality craft beer. The atmosphere is what you'd expect when entering a brewery with a tasting area.
The owner was welcoming and available to explain his work.

23/07/2025: Le pire restaurant de ma vie nous y sommes allé un jour où le restaurant ouvrait à 11h. Nous sommes arrivé à 11h45, quand nous arrivions devant le restaurant le serveur qui nous voit nous ferme la porte au nez 😤🤬🤯
Quand ouvre la porte il se tourne est nous froidement que il n’ouvre pas que dans 35 minutes et il nous propose rien. HORRIBLE LE PIRE RESTO ❌❌❌
09/07/2025: Una stella perche’ meno non si puo’! 50 euro per due antipasti fantasia che si chiama o cosi perche’ ce ne vuole tanta… 28 euro un piatto misero di paccheri coi gamberi “viola”, antipasto di terra con formaggio da pizza e prosciutto cotto nel piatto!!!!!!
