28/09/2025: We arrived at 2:45 PM and they closed at 3:00 PM. They cooked for us, and we stayed inside longer since it was raining. They're very kind and take pleasure in doing so. The food is truly delicious. Thank you!

10/10/2025: During our vacation in Ceglie Messapica, we also dined at the Taverna dei Domenicani. The food was delicious, and the fava beans and chicory, in particular, were the best in Ceglie Messapica. Highly recommended.

10/09/2025: We arrived at around 1:15 p.m. and left at 3 p.m. for only a few pieces of filled bread and tasteless pasta. Already, a 15-minute wait for the menus when there were only 2 tables available... The "bruchetta" are only 2 pieces of toasted bread, well filled however and quite good. But the main course, pasta with shrimp and "ceps", in addition to the wait time (40 minutes) and the ridiculous quantity on the plate, was simply not good. Flabby mushrooms, large hard and grainy pasta, and 4 poor shrimps fighting a duel. With that, a fish of barely 150-200g billed at 300g, with the vegetables of the day at 4€: soggy spinach shoots. All this for over €100 in total Not to mention the waitress who seemed delighted to be there... In short, if you want to be disappointed, go for it.

13/10/2025: We sat in the small area of outdoor tables in front of the restaurant. The weather was cool and windy but this spot in the sun was sheltered and made for a wonderful afternoon lunch. We had a delicious pizza but the highlight was the tuna tartar on creamed avocado. Service was excellent with the staff tirelessly climbed the stairs from the outdoor seating to the kitchen.

12/10/2025: Delicious food, great service, beautiful views. The orecchiette with broccoli turnip was superb, and the pizza was amazing. I recommend it.

14/10/2025: A quaint restaurant with background music that creates a relaxed dining atmosphere. Excellent ingredients, both for traditional dishes and for truly exquisite and unique pizzas with a wide selection. Very good prices compared to other places considering the quality. Welcoming staff. Highly recommended!!

11/10/2025: Love this homey little restaurant, tucked away in a small alley. We have eaten here two nights in a row, and both nights everything has been great. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent, and the people are friendly and accommodating. Pizzas are great, with tons of options using local fresh ingredients. Meat was prepared to perfection (steak was prepared medium, as requested), and the salads were fresh. Both the server and the chef/owner spoke some English and were easy to communicate with. If you are into wine, the menu doesn't show all the available wines, so make sure to ask the server for help or look on the wall where bottles are displayed for the full selection. They have a strong representation of local wines with a few central and northern Italian options. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a more intimate feeling up the stairs on the first floor, away from the busy street. If you're looking for a small, quieter place with home-cooked, unpretentious meals, give them a try.

06/10/2025: Very good location right on the waterfront, unfortunately the service is terrible, which spoils the whole positive impression, the order is not fully fulfilled, the cashiers get offended, the bartender throws cutlery - I do not recommend!

18/10/2025: Restaurant in a quiet area. The setting is pleasant. The waiters are very professional and the food is very good.

18/10/2025: So, you have to book a table to eat here. There are 2 sessions..one at 7.30 pm and one at 9.30 pm. We chose the earlier option. You are waiting outside with everyone else until they decide to open the door. You feel privileged to have booked a table because if you didn't you are turned away with eyes on your back!! So we sit down and eventually order. The menu choice isn't fantastic. To be honest, I had high hopes for this place. I had the fettuccine ragu which wasn't great, and husband had the rack of lamb which was the smallest I've ever seen, with 5 little squares of potato?? Seriously? Overpriced hyped up and really not worth the money and time. Go elsewhere. The vibe is yuk...

The pizza was perfect: crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and tons of flavor! 😍 The team is incredibly friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. If you love authentic Italian cuisine, you should definitely stop by here. One of the best pizzerias I know – we'll definitely be back! 🇮🇹❤️

02/10/2025: Avoid, a disgrace to the restaurant industry, and I'm not being paid by anyone for this review. Since the reviews were correct, we decided to choose this establishment for lunch. What a disappointment, I don't know how anyone can give 5 stars for such an establishment. Pasta carbonara undercooked (worse than al dente) and very salty, escalope with mushrooms and white wine (meat not even grilled, frozen mushroom pieces in a tasteless broth). We didn't order dessert; we had it elsewhere.
