08/11/2025: Top location and excellent quality meat... It's always a pleasure to come back!

03/11/2025: A lovely little place to enjoy excellent meat. The butcher's counter is very well stocked. They don't take reservations, but you walk in on a first-come, first-served basis, choose your meat, and then sit inside the small room at your assigned table. You can also order delicious local appetizers, and I highly recommend the baked potatoes drizzled with excellent local olive oil. I've been there twice and will definitely return for top-quality meat. My group and I ordered entrecôte, diaphragm, zampina, and their fabulous breaded bombette. The entrecôte and diaphragm literally melted in your mouth and were cooked to perfection, all accompanied by an excellent house Primitivo. My rating? 10 out of 10.

24/10/2025: We arrived by chance and this one did things very well. The place is very quiet at this time of year, a beautiful panorama, excellent cuisine and attentive waiters, what more could you ask for, we will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises again.

19/10/2025: A very nice place to eat - below the arches - nice menu with varied dishes and we really enjoyed the soup and family style salads. Try to get there early (12:30ish) when it opens so you don’t have to wait for table

08/10/2025: They give you olives, bread and taralli pugliesi on the house. The taralli were of two types, very good, soft and crunchy in the same time. Pasta with burrata and tomato sauce had a fresh taste. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The terrace is heated. Reservation is recommended.

The habanero balls are pleasingly spicy/hot 🌶️🔥 The fries are very well done, crispy and not overly oily 🍟 But daaamn, the burgers are too sure for 🤤 I had the one (in the picture) with minced & spiced beef, smoked garlicky eggplants, sun-dried tomatoes and a whole burrata 🤯 Sooo creamy 🤤🤍 And it's the _only_ place in Villanova that serves FuzeTea (❤️) instead of EstaTea (😣).

07/12/2025: Located on the harbor but also accessible by car, so there's parking. The food is good, doesn't make you wait too long, and is reasonably priced. I'll be back.

23/11/2025: Very disappointing place. The waiter seemed to be in hurry all the time and his behaviour was condescending. The meal with cod smelled like an old fish and something burned. Water (payed) was served without any question. Portions were very small. Nothing in common with good Italian cuisine.

04/11/2025: Awarded the Bib Gourmand 2025, Osteria Piazzetta Cattedrale is a beautiful restaurant nestled in the heart of Ostuni's historic center. The setting is charming and the service attentive. The meat dishes are particularly successful: the lamb chops are tender and full of flavor, while the perfectly grilled veal tomahawk steak rivals the finest restaurants. However, the pasta dishes—especially the lobster gnocchi and the risotto with oyster sauce—don't quite reach the same heights. Every restaurant has its strengths: here, I would definitely focus on the meat dishes.

05/11/2025: Cool place close to the water. Make sure to ask what they have that was caught that day. We had a fish i had never heard of or seen before as an appetizer. It was really good. Those aren't its actual eyes...I added pomegranate seeds.

03/10/2025: Osteria la Sciabica is an excellent restaurant and pizzeria, where you can eat well, relax and the staff takes care of the customers.

02/10/2025: I was at this osteria in August. The food was very good. I thought it was a real gem and returned in September with friends. Unfortunately, the gem turned out to be a poor imitation. It's a real shame and a huge disappointment because the place is very nice and has its own unique atmosphere. The dishes I ordered were simply not good, and I'm wondering if this was a fluke or a rule. Nevertheless, I don't recommend this place because it might disappoint, as it did for me.

25/11/2025: The food was excellent, and the ambiance was meticulously maintained. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow.

23/11/2025: This morning I woke up craving true Apulian comfort food: orecchiette with ragù. Not having four hours to spare for a homemade dish, I started looking for nearby restaurants. And I decided on Cortiletto. When we booked, they correctly informed us that the table was in the courtyard and not inside. It's a good thing, because the courtyard is well-protected and decidedly more comfortable than the inside, further enhanced by Lea, our wonderful house cat. The restaurant is meticulously maintained and extremely pleasant. The service, despite the Sunday crowds, was prompt, courteous, and impeccable. The cuisine, perhaps too focused on the lavish appetizers that all trattorias require on a Sunday in Puglia, could use a little more focus and attention on the main courses.

The staff stood out for their kindness and professionalism, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere that made the evening even more enjoyable. A place worth recommending to those seeking quality, courtesy, and a high-end dining experience. We will be delighted to return.

25/11/2025: A fantastic experience, a charming setting where silence reigns supreme. The staff was truly courteous, answering all our questions thoroughly and helping us choose some dishes. We opted for a meat-based menu, consisting of a tasting of mixed appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two side dishes, and two desserts, accompanied by water and drinks. The dishes are exquisite, to say the least. The price, in my opinion, is in line with what's offered. We had such a great time that we'll probably return, this time for a seafood-only option. If you're looking for good food in an intimate and quiet setting, you've come to the right place!
