09/07/2025: If you’re looking for authentic, THIS IS IT! My wife found an article referring to this Osteria and we figured we’d give it a try. Not surprisingly we were the first customers at noon, but the place quickly filled up - not a single tourist, so we knew we were in the right place. We ordered the house appetivi and everything was delicious, from the meats and cheeses to the pickled onions and meatballs and mint infused squash… it was all wonderful. Then we each ordered a pasta and they were all unique and tasty with the orchiette and rape di chime (some sort of green… turnip or broccoli) was the winner! Ohh and I forgot to mention: we tried the Asino, or donkey! Tasted like roast beef, but a new adventure for us all! The homemade tiramisu also excellent, made with real mascarpone and worth the trip alone! Then they brought little bottles of amaro and lemoncello with the towns’ famous almond and cherry cookies… a delightful end to a wonderful meal. They really made us feel not just welcome, but at home. A truly original and authentic experience, in a cute little town.

Every bite confirmed the freshness and excellence of the local ingredients. The highlight was the sliced beef: a true delight. We were served by Mimmo, whose kindness and professionalism were exemplary, helping us feel pampered. The evening concluded with a sweet surprise: we were offered delicious local sweets and biscuits, accompanied by fragrant cannoli and an excellent limoncello, a gesture of kindness that left an even more pleasant memory. In short, the Borgo Antico restaurant is a charming place with its authenticity, superb food, and an atmosphere that invites relaxation and enjoyment. 09/07/2025: Rosamarina on the north side is a wonderful restaurant, indoor but very well-known. It also serves a pizzeria, with plenty of seating on the covered veranda, and free secure parking for the restaurant itself. Fresh produce, friendly, attentive, and fast staff. I recommend making a reservation or going early in the evening. Excellent first courses, but everything else is definitely worth it. Whether it's winter or summer, you won't be disappointed. Wide selection of wines and sparkling wines.

08/07/2025: The food is good, in a somewhat noisy but comfortable outdoor setting, and the service has considerable room for improvement, both in terms of attention to customer needs (including those dictated by personal health issues) and service times. The Taverna's success is evidenced by the large number of diners; we don't look at them hastily. Everything is done with kindness.

13/06/2025: Mooie locatie, goed en betaalbaar eten en zeker een must do als je Savelletri bent. Reserveren is wel een must, Italianen schuiven gerust om 22:00 nog eens aan tafel. Dus de vroegere tijden zijn meestal Geen probleem

25/07/2025: There were eight of us, and since we couldn't make a single table, we opted for two tables for four each. The place itself is cute, characteristic of the area, well-decorated, but unfortunately very hot. The main room had three fans that practically blew away hot air. We kindly asked if they could turn on the only available air conditioning, but obviously it couldn't make a difference. The food, from appetizers to entrees, was impeccable, and the quality of the ingredients was truly exceptional. It was a shame, however, that the service wasn't entirely professional. It was 11:15 PM, and we had finished our first course. A member of staff came over and asked if we wanted a second course. We asked for time (5 minutes) to decide, but in an unfriendly tone, he exclaimed, "NO! The kitchen is closing soon!" So we opted for coffees, the bill, and off we went. At 11:45 PM, four tables were seated. We felt like we were being mocked by the waitress... unfortunately, because the place is so good, but the service definitely needs updating in terms of courtesy and quality!!!

12/07/2025: We were lucky enough to eat at table 38, a secluded table on a terrace overlooking the city. Both the food and the service were excellent. We absolutely recommend it! :)

21/07/2025: A very good fried food shop. The setting inside the market square is spectacular, with a great atmosphere. The service was very good and fast. We understood each other well with our Italian-Spanish ;-) The food was very good, although the fried food dishes were a little small, but everything was delicious.

25/05/2025: I really liked the place wedged in the alleys of Oria and with a really particular color of the walls that reminded of the night sky and created a nice contrast with the star vaults. Pleasant evening with friends we consumed a hamburger each and a fried food as an entrée. The service, although appreciable, the effort made by the only waiter present leaves much to be desired as he is clearly a makeshift figure who has some difficulty expressing himself

27/06/2025: A really nice discovery. We had passed by several times but had never found a way to stop. What can I say... We were immediately welcomed warmly. We decided to have some typical appetizers and braciole with sauce. The typical and excellent quality appetizers were never ending, the braciole were exquisite. When it was time to leave they offered us dessert and typical liqueurs. Excellent value for money, we will definitely return.

04/07/2025: Having lunch with a view of the port of Brindisi is something unique. The menu offers a wide choice of seafood, I recommend the seafood and meat appetizers and many first and second courses. Quality - price is really super!
