04/10/2025: I give it 5 stars for their desire to offer something beyond local cuisine, but I recommend serving the tagliolini with truffle without cream, but simply with butter, with truffle shavings and not grated, as the recipe calls for... Unfortunately, cream kills everything.

18/10/2025: I booked this property because I had a wedding. For health reasons, I had to request a free cancellation through Booking.com, but the property refused. I found the choice of property to be extremely inelegant, considering it was off-season, and especially tactless when explaining my reasons. Furthermore, the responses I received were very arrogant. I will definitely not book again.

31/12/2025: Disappointing experience and total lack of flexibility Unfortunately, due to a sudden bout of the flu (through no fault of our own), we were unable to enjoy the €400 package we booked. Despite prompt communication and an explanation of the situation, the hotel showed no willingness to find an alternative solution, such as a rescheduling for another night. The result was the total loss of the amount paid, with no understanding or attention to the customer. We understand the policies, but we would have expected greater flexibility and common sense in the face of a documented health issue. This is not a customer-friendly approach that leaves us feeling deeply dissatisfied. We will not return and we cannot recommend this property.

30/09/2025: Mimmo the owner is a very professional and very kind person, I have been a customer for many years and I have ALWAYS eaten very well and at reasonable prices, from the classic pizza to the scrocchiarella and at lunch, everything is truly excellent and authentic, I highly recommend it to everyone.

30/10/2025: When we arrived we had expectations because of the whole atmosphere - beautiful garden, local products, fantastic Italian music, but it exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to the Manager ( she was so kind) for the explanation about the meal. They don't have tipical menú, but they have their own garden and they make meals from it. So, what ist actual in that moment, you will eat it. At the beginning they tell you the price for the menú right away, so no after some surprises. The menu is divided into 3 parts and each serves for 15 minutes. It's more like traditional, not commercial. The dishes are fantastic, everything is homemade, the stuff are hardworking and friendly. They have a fantastic section for children where they can play. They also have beautiful cats. All in all 10/10 Anja, Stuttgart, Germany.

All the first courses are top-quality and beautifully crafted. The second courses are exquisite and refined. The risotto for two is simply incredible! The desserts are delicious treats. - *Service*: The staff was truly attentive and courteous. - *Ambience*: The setting is clean and charming, with a calm and intimate atmosphere, perfect for evenings of conversation or enjoying a drink. - *Prices*: The prices are in line and appropriate for the situation. I highly recommend Living for high-end dinners, more informal dinners, or simply for a drink. I can't wait to go back! 😊

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

07/10/2025: We were guests at Masseria Cerine for a birthday dinner during our vacation in Salento. Highly recommended for those seeking excellent cuisine, hospitality, and tradition. The helpfulness and kindness of the owner, whom we spoke to over the phone about the reservation, could only be a precursor to such a valuable staff. Thanks for the tiramisu.

17/09/2025: Tradition and flavors...envelop you at this agriturismo. The traditional cuisine invites you to taste dishes your palate never knew existed. Very good, authentic food. 19/07/2025: Cena di famiglia in 4 persone a base di pesce, con menù di pesce, e carne. Tutto squisito!! Cortesia e gentilezza dei camerieri e del titolare che una volta arrivati ci ha accolti facendoci accomodare in un tavolo con vista sul tramonto. Portate abbondanti e veloci nel servizio. Consiglio.

14/10/2025: Dinner on a weekday evening. Homemade dishes are not available. The head waiter is in a hurry to see you leave. They don't ask if you'd like anything else to eat, and they don't offer dessert or coffee. The important thing is that you leave, and quickly, because there aren't many customers that evening. AVOID. We've never been so poorly received in Salento!
